Crystal Orange Shanghai Safari Park Hotel Reviews

Nice hotel, but a little out of the way, as the nearest metro station is a good 15 minute taxi ride away, so getting to the hotel from any of the Shanghai airports or stations is a bit of a hassle. There is a shopping mall and wide selection of Chinese and western restaurants all within 800m of the hotel, so you would not have any trouble finding anything you want. The hotel is relatively modern, with very large screen TV's in the rooms, which provide a connected experience, although all the instructions are only in Chinese, which makes it a bit challenging. The bathroom and shower were great, and the toilet even had a heated seat! I used the self service laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers) at the hotel, which were excellent, clean and modern, and the hotel provides the washing detergent. Breakfast mainly catered Chinese food options, but they did offer a selection of fruit juices, toast, jams, croissants and breakfast cereal, which was sufficient for me. Generally the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, taking the time to translate anything on their phones if required, but my stay was ruined by the woman at in charge of breakfast on my first day - I asked her politely for a knife to spread the butter and jam on my toast, and also for spoon, to eat my cereal with milk, but she abruptly shouted NO at me, and when I tried to explain what I needed and why a second time, she again just shouted NO at me, and gave me a fork then walked off! - This woman either needs to find a new job or receive some intensive training in customer service, as she was unnecessarily extremely rude - It was her behaviour that my stay at this hotel will be remember for, and nothing else - HORRIBLE!

Great hotel, location was a bit inconvenient. It's close to the Wild Animal Park, but not really any other attractions. Subway is about a 15 minute ride from the hotel. Overall, a good experience.

Modern hotel with a room service robot and curtains controlled by a button, lots of great touches for convenience. The TV was pay to use, this didn’t affect us. The reception staff were wonderful, they helped me twice to book taxi’s on their website chat apps to get me where I needed to be and helped me to get WiFi. Well placed location for a short taxi ride to the Wildlife Park which was lovely. Would stay again.

I chose to stay in this hotel when I came on a business trip. The hotel is the best in the vicinity. It has a superior location and is next to a large shopping mall. I especially want to praise the hotel staff for their excellent service. It is really very good. The front desk responded very promptly when I needed something for personal reasons. They helped me find a solution and were very polite. I was also very satisfied with the breakfast. There were noodles, wontons, and some breads. The dishes were very complete. I will choose to continue to stay in this Orange Crystal Hotel next time I go on a business trip😆😆😆

I came to Ueno and chose Orange Crystal. The room was very comfortable, no odor and very quiet. Although the room area was not very large, the overall layout was very good. It was a very cost-effective hotel among the Orange series hotels I stayed in. The Safari Park is worth a second visit, and this hotel is also worth staying in.

I have always liked staying at Orange Crystal, but I didn't expect that it is more quiet and convenient in Huinan Town, which is far beyond my imagination. I should have stayed here on my last business trip. The room is not noisy at all, clean and hygienic, and the room type is large. There is a large workbench, which is very convenient for business trips and office work. The parking lot downstairs is super convenient for parking, and it is very fast to drive to several popular attractions around. The front desk sister Xiaoyi understands the guests' thoughts very well, and she is very satisfied with her responses to questions and handling of things. I will come again next time if I have the chance😘

The price/performance ratio is very high, parking is convenient, the room is large and comfortable, and the breakfast is also very good. It is very convenient to go to the Wildlife Park, Lingang Dishui Lake, and Disneyland.

The environment is very nice and clean. Thank you to the front desk lady at 6am. Because we were not sure when we could finish packing, we asked if the 12pm check-out could be delayed. She delayed it to 2pm. In fact, we packed up and left at 12:10.

The room is new, the breakfast is rich, it is very close to the zoo, there is a business district next to it, it is convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. There is a Family Mart 100 meters away, which is super convenient, and the robot delivers the food

I took my kids to the safari park during the holiday and stayed in this hotel in advance. The hotel is in the style I like. There is also a special car to pick up and drop off at the zoo. The buffet breakfast is very rich. I will come again next time!
