The Tesco Hotel is located in a convenient location, it is only 3 minutes away from the center of the ancient city. The main part of the B & B is a steel-mixed-earth structure to avoid the sound insulation of the traditional wood structure. Design philosophy is open, innovative, humane and functional, with emphasis on the functioning and spatial organization of the various areas and on the formal beauty of the structure itself. The design is simple and generous, and the space is clean and transparent. The room heating facilities are all water-heating. It is most suitable during the dry season of Shangri-La. There are rest, tea and recreational facilities in the public areas.

The receptionist girl Weiwei has been extremely helpful throughout our stay. She assisted us with car bookings for our excursions, carried our luggage up the stairs, and even helped me resolve my WeChat issue. Everything went smoothly thanks to her excellent support.

The room is well organised and clean but the maintenance is lacking. The receptionist was nice and the workers are helpful. The location is good though a bit outside of the old town so some walking is needed.

Very spacious room with oxygen supply. I had a very good rest. the staff are very friendly and helpful. I forgot a few of my belongings at the hotel and they kindly deliver them to my hotel in the next city.

Location is great, the hotel is right in front of city gate
But in very quiet and peaceful corner.
Room is large and clean and fully equipped
The staff are very helpful and free airport pick up
Breakfast is simple chinese style noodle or boil rice
