Our experience at The Franklin on Rittenhouse was absolutely amazing.
We were greeted by John and another sweet woman at the front desk, and they were so kind and helpful.
We stayed in “The Monarch” room on the first floor. It is a very comfortable and romantic room. It was also extremely clean and updated! I loved the rainfall style shower as well.
While booking the room, I mentioned that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, and the hotel we so kind to write her a card and left chocolates on the bed.
It was such a thoughtful gesture.
I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. I highly recommend booking your stay here if you are looking for an amazing boutique hotel experience.

We love this hotel! Have stayed several times. All of the rooms are so unique and always clean. Staff is so welcoming, helpful and friendly. And there is a wonderful bar on the premises. Make sure to stop in for a craft cocktail.

Had a great stay! Stef was awesome, he helped me check in and was super friendly and informative. Would definitely stay here again - I’ve stayed at several hotels in center city and really enjoyed this one.

Not clean, missing basic hotel room items
The room was missing a desk and a dresser. The bathroom was not clean-see pics. The was a beat up mini fridge laying on the floor. Also note the placement of the toilet paper dispenser. This hotel is far from luxury as advertised.

We enjoyed our stay. This was our first time in Philly and Rittenhouse Sq area was recommended.
The hotel is small, the room was nicely decorated, had all we needed. The breakfast was simple enough to hit the spot. The staff were fabulous but Addison was my favourite. Nice to be welcomed with a kiss when you entered the lobby!! (Addison is a black lab in case you were wondering 😜).
We walked all over the city with ease, never felt unsafe and even took in a Phillies game via the subway…super efficient.
We loved Philadelphia and look forward to visiting again.
