Highly recommended! The owner is friendly and helpful, provides pick-up and drop-off service from the ski resort, and is always willing to assist. The value for money is amazing. I'll definitely come back next time! And the rooms were very comfortable!

Very clean B&B inside and out The boss and the lady boss are very nice and kind. The breakfast prepared is a traditional Japanese breakfast. I think it is very exquisite and delicious. The location is right opposite the bus stop and very convenient It is also within walking distance from the hot spring place. Highly recommended. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel provides a shuttle bus from Echigo Yuzawa station therefore it is very convenient via Shinkansen from Tokyo. I do like the room design, it felt showa-era Japanese with a mix of western scifi at the same time, kinda like the film space odyssey. The receptionist was very kind and gave us discounts for ski lifts. Ski lockers were included so we could keep all our gear downstairs. There are many restaurants to choose from, best meal was the steak paella with the option to add extra meat at Edelweiss. Breakfast view from Kiyotsu restaurant was majestic, got to see the early birds ski while enjoying our meal. We were at the slopes pretty much from the morning until after the sun sets because there was night ski! After a whole day of skiing, resting at the outdoor onsen overlooking the snow garden was surreal, all the pains and aches just disappeared. To end the night, we watched the fireworks display from our room. We went to Naeba to ski but received far more than I expected. Thanks to all thestaff for the wonderful experience. We will be back soon and already planning a return.

We were in Hoshi Onsen 25 years ago, and we loved it so much that we decided to visit it once more during our recent Japan trip. Hoshi is one of the most traditional and older onsen in Japan, with more than one hundred years of history. Walking in its corridors or lingering in Hoshi-no-yu (the main indoor bath) you can really feel as if time had completely stopped and as you have plunged in a remote era. Yet it provides any possible comfort. Important renovations have been made, but always with great taste and respectful of tradition. Dinner is excellent and also the open air bath is really beautiful. The surroundings are also very nice and deserve a walk. It is a bit expensive, but no doubt worth the price

Rooms and Facilities • Rooms are primarily Japanese-style or simple Western-style. The facilities are somewhat dated but generally clean. The rooms are slightly more spacious than typical business hotels, suitable for families or small groups. • The hotel offers basic amenities such as a common area and laundry service, but lacks the extensive restaurants, hot springs, and entertainment facilities found in large resort hotels. It's a more basic accommodation option, suitable for transitional stays.

This time I want to ski in Naeba for 5 days. One night of Naeba Prince Hotel is full. I chose this hotel as the nearest hotel. Because the price is half cheap and I do n’t want to change the hotel every day, I directly booked 2 nights because I took 2 people. Children under 6 years old stayed. The hotel said that when I booked, there was no child. Actually, I could n’t choose a child. I was thinking that I would make up the difference then. When I checked in, the shop owner said that I would charge twice as much as the annual price ( Take out the New Year's Eve price list), so the total price of one plus even surpassed the Naeba Prince Hotel, which cost more than 1,500 a night. And if you want to charge 2 more people, open another room for me. So the experience is: large hotels usually write as much as they do, and they do n’t charge extra, but small hotels have a lot of variables, and there is a large gap in facilities and services. There is no mineral water, no boiling water equipment, and the heater has to be turned on after entering the room. You can only take a shower at night every day, and you have to say in advance that brushing your teeth and washing your face are in public places outside the room. Although the small hotels in Japan are very hygienic, and the couples are very attentive, but for the same price of more than 1,500, you will understand how to choose.

The facilities are complete, the room heater is super warm, and it is very convenient to walk to the Tashiro Cable Car Station. Recommended!
