Hotel Yuzawa Yuzawa Denkiya

Yuzawa|2.09km from downtown
The hotel is about 8 minutes drive from JR Echigo Yuzawa Station. The hotel has a shuttle bus from the station to the hotel. We didn't know, and didn't call the hotel to pick up. We bought a ticket from Tokyo directly to the JR Station water station nearest to the hotel. As a result, Tokyo arrived at Echigo Yuzawa Station more than 13:00, but the car to JR Water was 15:08, so I had to wait at the station. Fortunately, when we got out of the station, it was snowing, and the children were so happy that they couldn’t care for more than an hour at the entrance of the station. Japan has a very good advantage. Don't worry about losing your luggage and throwing children. We throw the suitcase on the side of the road and play snow. The hotel has no obvious LoGo, and my homework is not enough. Baidu navigation is also not very accurate. We walked around the hotel and finally found it. Asked the owner of the rented ski prop shop next to him, he did not point to it. So I took a picture of the person who went to see it later, remember to find the signboard of Tang Yu Tang, a four-story building with a spiral staircase. Wearing snow boots and carrying a suitcase to walk on the road, there is always a melting snow water spray to the shoes feels very bad. Fortunately, the hotel service is very good. Although they are generally in English, I am generally happy to communicate. The entrance to the hotel waiter will show you what is on each floor. Rent a ski on the first floor, it can be said to be underground, the front desk is on the second floor. Special reminder that after renting the ski equipment, we don’t have to take it upstairs. We don’t know if we go to the second floor. We only know that there is a slope on the first floor. The rented skis are wearing ski boots and are directly on the slope on the first floor. The car is gone, the hotel has a car to go to the ski resort. The time to send is maneuverable and you can tell the hotel reception. Finally, we recommend the hot springs of the hotel. The hot springs have a long history and there are certificates on the walls. It is very comfortable to soak.

There is a 24-hour convenience store near the station, and the location is great. However, be careful as the parking lot is small. The lobby is small and there is a chair fight. I checked in from 14:00 (it is possible if I pay an additional fee), but it was still a little crowded and there was a chair fight. Check-in was given priority, so the check-in time was about 5 minutes. If you don't like the small rooms, you shouldn't come. (The Japanese suite is relatively large because it has two bedrooms) The view is not good. There is air conditioner, but it is fixed to 24 ℃ in winter and is hot. The food was delicious and there were so many, but it was good (however, the breakfast the next day I ate soba at night was hell) However, from 15:00, it is difficult to make a reservation for meals from 17:30. Because it is difficult, Check in from 14:00 will be easier to take. The hot spring was the best. There are three private baths, but the place called ”Iwanoyu” is crowded, and depending on luck on the day you check in (relatively vacant during dinner) ”Iwanoyu” is vacant early in the morning of the next day (around 4:00 to 6:00). In addition, there are ice candy (free) (evening and night) and Yakult (free) (early morning to morning) at the bathing area, and you can eat ”night soba” for free from 23:00. The service was substantial. The room had a coffee mill and coffee beans and I was able to enjoy authentic coffee. The customer service was also good. It happened to be good, but the people in the lobby and the people in the restaurant were good with a clear voice. (There seems to be no other customer service)

There is National Highway 17 nearby, but it is in a residential area, so it was not noisy and slow. It's easy to get to the bus stop in front of the station, so I think it's a very good place if you come by ski snowboarding. It's small, but there is a large communal bath that can accommodate about 3〜4 people. It is said that you can lock it from inside and use it. So it was very comfortable to enter slowly in a chartered state. When you leave, turn off the lights and open the door completely. There is no reservation in particular, so if it is not locked, it feels like you can enter. There is also a board storage like a drying room, so it is useful for the snow season. There are places to hang hangers, so you can dry your clothes. When I told him about the care of the board, he was willing to lend me an extension cord. It was good that I was able to wax in the drying room. The room is 2 for names, so it is wide 々. The desk is also large enough to work. When you return late, you should bring the key. You may have it when you return early. Once I left it at the front desk, I came back early in the afternoon, but sometimes I didn't come out at all even if I pressed the call. I tried to call, but I still didn't answer ... I waited for about 10 minutes and finally got off by elevator, so I may not be at the front desk. I stayed for a few days, so I clean it every day. You can also put new bath towels and toothbrushes every time. There is also a board storage like a drying room. There is also a place to hang a hanger, so you can dry your clothes. I continued to use it as a repeater last year. Many sites such as Rakuten and Jalan have their own services and lift tickets, so it seems that the amount changes depending on which site you register. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with 6 tatami mats + Western-style room with 8 tatami mats for one night without meals with 4 family members. The kotatsu was warm and relaxing. If you tell the arrival time to Echigo Yuzawa station, they will pick you up. I am grateful for this service while everyone is waiting for the bus after getting off the Shinkansen. If you tell me the time to return, it will be sent. Free transfer. It takes about 10 minutes by car, but it's a 1-minute walk to the ski resort (first lift, a slightly hard snowy intermediate slope), so it's worth staying just for the location and pick-up. In addition, the hot spring (source) input fee is 360 yen per person, but even if you check out the next morning, you will keep your luggage until you return, and you will also take a bath on your way home without additional charge. We finished dinner and breakfast at a convenience store (FamilyMart) for 5 minutes on foot without eating rice. You can use it enough. The owner is a little blunt, and there seems to be various word of mouth, but I think that you can enjoy it enough if you don't expect much of the service by conveying the information firmly. The lady at the reception also remembered a year ago and responded politely. The hotel itself has an old Showa era feel. The hot springs are hot. I'm disappointed if I don't know that the sauna is an extra charge (500 yen once and make a reservation two hours in advance). The room has a hairdryer, but the bathroom is not equipped. Last year, when I used a hair dryer in my room, the breaker fell, but I returned the bar and responded. The breaker was okay this year. Rental skis are waxed and maintained. The shoes seemed a little old, but if they didn't fit, they adjusted the next day. Considering this amount, location, and transfer, I think it is important not to expect too much service. My family wants to repeat.

Kagura House

Yuzawa|5.64km from Futai Jinja Shrine
I used it to ski at Kagura Mitsumata Ski Resort for a while. In front of Mitsumata area, walk a few minutes to the ropeway platform. It is an attractive inn that is very close and can go slipping as it is with a board. The drying room was also fully equipped, and if you slip and put the board and boots as it is, it was very easy to enter the guest house from another door. I stayed without meals, so I didn't have breakfast and dinner. It is a room only for sleeping. It is an old Japanese-style room with 6 tatami mats, and you can squint a little when you walk. The walls are thin, so you can hear a faint voice or TV sound. Also, I do not recommend it to those who are not good at insects. Insects like stink bugs often come in from somewhere. * Insect agents are also placed, so if you are not good at it, you should sprinkle them. Check-in and check-out are self-service, so I never meet the guest house. If you are paying locally, you must press the doorbell or contact the number at the front desk if you are not there and call. Basically, there are no people at the front desk. Occasionally, I met the staff, but they were all from China. If I spoke slowly, I could talk, so there was no inconvenience in interacting. I was saved because I could leave my luggage after check-in and out. If you have large luggage, you should use it. If you want to slip on the day you return, I think you can save the locker fee if you leave it.

Echigoyuzawa Onsen Nagomi No Oyado Takinoyu

We had a nice stay in Takinoyu Hotel. When we departed from Tokyo, it was sunny and not snowing at all. Once Shinkansen train passed the tunnel, a whole different view was revealed. We were surprised by the snow-covered landscaped in Echigoyuzawa. The hotel offered a free shuttle van. You just need to make a call using a paid phone by the station exit. Our room was spacious, tidy and cozy, with a nice view. We had a tiny living room and massage chair and coffee maker. The hotel outdoor and indoor onsens were both great. On snowy days, the hotel offered free waterproof boots to keep your feet dry if you want to have an outside walking. There was a ski slope named Ipponsugi right in front of Echigoyuzawa Station, only 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Ski lift and rentals were also available. We had Kaiseki dinner in our room, which was a traditional multi-course and each individual tray was served one by one. Two trainees from China were arranged to prepare dinner for us and they introduced us the technique of Kaiseki Cuisine. The hotel breakfast was Japanese set meals served in a dining room, mostly local food such as grilled fish, soybean paste soup and oriental dishes. We’d recommend this hotel if you want to experience Japanese hospitality.

You can see the snow in the back mountain in the room. I heard that it has not been snowing for a long time. Friends who can ski think it is a good choice. The room is also very large and comfortable. The outdoor bathing area makes people blow cold wind and soak in the hot springs very comfortable. The fly in the ointment is that we booked a non-smoking floor, but the elevator smelled a strong smell of smoke as soon as it came out.

The outside looked a little old, but the inside was very clean and beautiful. 5 minutes walk from Echigo Yuzawa station. It was nice to be able to spend a quiet and relaxing time without noise even though it was close to the station. There are many restaurants around, and it is possible to go drinking at night. Rather than using it with your family, we recommend using it with friends or traveling alone. The room was about 8 tatami mats with two single beds. The bath is not big, but it was a hot spring and the price is reasonable, so I think it's a good hotel. When I was out drinking, I got a call around 23:00 without knowing that there was a curfew. thank you very much.

Clean, simple hotel with shared toilets and onsen, incredibly helpful and friendly staff and a yummy Japanese breakfast (clam miso soup was particularly delicious). Very convenient for Yuzawa Kogen gondola (walk across the road!) and very handy for lots of good restaurants. We particularly liked the Thai restaurant across the road and went there twice! Handy for ski and snowboard hire as Boo Sports is underneath. Also with very efficient and helpful staff. Parking available.
Naeba Prince Hotel
4.3/5125 Reviews
There is a slope in front of you and the best location. This time, I used a plan with a ski lift ticket, so it was very good value. The room was a long time ago, but there is no problem because it only sleeps after skiing. The gondola from Naeba Ski Resort to the next Kagura Ski Resort was wonderful. However, it was difficult to have a balanced meal because it was an accommodation plan without meals. Since it was a weekday, there were many restaurants on holidays, and I felt that every restaurant was generally more valuable than the quality. There are two large communal baths, but one of the men's baths was under repair and could not be used, and the only underground large communal bath that was available was incredibly far away. Also, it was dark and lacking in cleanliness, probably because it wasn't cleaned very well, so I didn't want to enter twice. I think it would be difficult to stay unless it was for skiing purposes.
