Hotel well located with bus and metro nearby. A very strong smell of cigarette smoke hung in the room the first few days, and after asking them to do something about it, a cleaning was done and the smell was much less intense. The room is spacious and clean.

Advantages: The room is very big. It is very new and clean. The room is spotlessly clean. The toiletries are complete, including body lotion, makeup remover gel, facial cleanser, toner and moisturizer set. The razor has four blades. The hotel front desk service is enthusiastic. They greet you when you enter and leave, and help you call a car to pick up and put down your luggage. The deluxe room has a balcony, and the balcony is very large. Although there is no scenery, it can exchange fresh air and is also very quiet. The room is well insulated, so you don’t need to turn on the air conditioner at night to avoid dryness. The minibar has free drinks and plenty of water every day. Opposite is the Fresco supermarket. There is a post office, laundry room (this one is closer) and convenience store on the right hand side of the door. There are restaurants, gas stations and laundry rooms on the left hand side. The hotel does not allow people under 12 years old to stay, so it is very quiet. The surrounding Okazaki Shrine, Komyoji Temple, Kyoto University, and **** are all within walking distance. Disadvantages: The place to put luggage is too small, basically it can’t be put in. My smallest luggage, rimowa26 inches, can’t fit in, not to mention the other two large luggages, and the room is big enough. Because once the luggage rack is put on, the sliding door will not be able to open the wardrobe, which is a design defect. I tried several types of breakfast that many people criticized. My family chose Japanese style, which he thought was ok, and the staple food was tamagoyaki. I chose American style, which is the most normal bacon, sausage and eggs. The taste is OK, and the fruit is very sweet (I think it is normal to choose this at least without stepping on thunder, and you can also eat full). The next day I added 1600 to change to Benedict. Benedict, which is praised by many people, I think it is very ordinary. The bottom is smoked salmon. If you like smoked salmon, you may think the breakfast is good, but I don’t like it. I can understand that the hotel is not large in size, so the breakfast cannot be too rich, and it is impossible to do self-service, otherwise the food will go bad if it is left for too long. But I have stayed in small and exquisite high-end hotels in other countries. In fact, it can be semi-self-service. Fruits, bread and drinks can be taken in the self-service area, and the staple food can be ordered. It is estimated that the hotel is unwilling to do so due to cost control. The most important thing is that there are only two choices of juice for breakfast, and there is no milk. You can only choose between coffee and black tea. Although the hotel stipulates that people under 12 are not allowed to stay, it is not appropriate for teenagers between 12 and 18 to drink coffee and black tea, right? At least there should be the option of milk. And when there are many guests dining during the morning rush hour, it took us a long time to wait for the waiter to come, which was not very comfortable. Summary: The breakfast is indeed not outstanding, but it is passable. The reason for this is not the breakfast itself, but the hotel's own positioning of this only restaurant. Because it is to be a French restaurant, the chef's idea must be the same. In fact, a hotel decorated as a Japanese garden should be a Japanese restaurant instead of a French restaurant. The Japanese restaurant downstairs in the hotel next door is doing well.

We recently spent 4 nights here and had a great experience overall. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel's central location is very convenient, providing easy access to Kyoto's popular attractions. Although the room is a bit small, it’s was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. One of the standout features of this hotel is its stunning rooftop terrace overlooking the city, which was our favorite spot to unwind and relax at the end of each day. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Sora Niwa Terrace Kyoto to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Generally speaking, it is quite cost-effective for stay Kyoto Banjing to be a hotel in winter.Surrounded by some restaurants in online celebrity and shopping spots in online celebrity, the traffic is also very convenient, and it is a beautiful place to go out.But theirCleaning is not every day, just doing the most basic cleaning. Of course, this was made clear before, so it is acceptable on the whole.

This hotel has wonderful costumer services and the employees speak many languages. Right up the street there is a 7/11 store for all your snack run, there are cafe and restaurant within walking distance. The Karasuma-Oike station is literally 3-5 minutes walk. The best part is the traveler’s store that is about a 10 min walk. I been wanting to go there and finally got to visit it. This store has stationary items such as notebooks that can have you record your journey.

Hhoii 2024.11.11
The room is not big, but if you put two single beds together, the space will be larger, which is convenient for opening the suitcase. You can see a small part of the street view outside the window, and you can see the city view of Kyoto outside the window of the corridor. The bathroom toiletries smell like black tea, which I like very much. There are subway stations and bus stations around, as well as two super large convenience stores. There is a 24-hour Japanese fast food restaurant downstairs. It is not very delicious, but it is very cheap and convenient. It is very quiet because it is surrounded by residential areas. You can feel the life of Japanese residents by walking around. We stayed for a total of six nights. The hotel only cleaned the room on the middle day. The garbage was piled up to the trash can and there was no room... And on the day of cleaning, it should be halfway through the cleaning and left because one of the two beds was made and the other was not made. The hotel has only one elevator, which is shared by tourists and staff. If you encounter the staff's room cleaning time during the day, the elevator will be more busy and the waiting time will be longer. There is an old lady staff member who can speak Chinese at the front desk. Her attitude towards Chinese and Japanese people is very different. She was very gentle and kind to the Japanese, and even chased me to say goodbye. When she saw me, she spoke Japanese first. Seeing that I didn't understand, she raised her forehead and looked at me sideways, ”English?” I agreed to speak English, but she still tried to speak Chinese in a cold and rough northeastern accent. After knowing that I was Chinese, her attitude changed 180 degrees, cold and unfriendly, and liked to use an imperative tone. She asked me when I could pick up the stored luggage. Considering that my companion was still on the way to the hotel, the future plan was still unknown, and I couldn't determine a specific time, so I casually replied ”I don't know”. She immediately said in an imperative way, ”You can't say you don't know, you can just say a time, three o'clock or six o'clock, but you can't say you don't know, otherwise I can't store it for you.” Although I was surprised, I still gave an approximate time of ”8 o'clock”. As a result, she took the initiative to say ”I'll write it for you at 6 o'clock.” I was really speechless. Why did she ask me? Just write a time at random. And later, when she saw me in the corridor, she even looked up and ignored me. However, she would greet me when she saw me in other occasions, but it was always stiff and fake, and she looked reluctant. Except for this old lady who could speak Chinese, the other staff were quite friendly. Every time I returned to the hotel, they would greet me with a smile.

GGuest UserThe best hotel I've been to has great freebies and activities (bracelet making, free face masks, free alcohol during social hour, a free green tea parfait during afternoon tea). It is close to the station, a 10-minute walk. There is also an amazing ramen restaurant and yakitori restaurants nearby.

CCarolinHotel was super nice! I loved almost everything. The room was very big for Japanese standards and the staff was very professional and fluent in English. Location couldn’t be better, right next to Kyoto Station and a lot of options for shopping and dining. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. They divide it in a western and japanese breakfast. But the western breakfast didn’t really have much western choices. And the coffee was not good. This could be improved. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would recommend it. :-)

독락당The Pocket Hotel offers a no-frills experience at a reasonable price. The room is just large enough to accomodate the futon you are given to sleep on and a little more. For people who need a bed to sleep, I definitely would not recommend this location. That said, I would say the room has everything on might need for a good night's sleep. The air conditioner is perfectly functional, a necessity in Kyoto's sweltering summers. Additionally, the limited space definitely means that accomodating guests with gargantuan suitcases is probably not possible. The washroom, while well furnished and perfectly serviceable, is public and located outside of one's room and is accessed by the same key card as the one used for one's room. In addition, the shower, located on the first floor for men and second for women, is also public use and accessed in the same way as the washroom. That said, the showers are split into individual rooms, so I would suggest one is offered more than sufficient privacy despite its public nature. If these minor inconveniences are unacceptable for you, this hotel is not the right one for you. As for the hotel's location, the hotel is fairly well positioned to go see Kiyomizudera and is a short walk from the subway. In addition, there are a number of great restaurants in the vicinity. In particular, there is a great abundance of ramen restaurants so it could be decent location to stop by to sample a number of different bowls. Between Daikoku Ramen, Ramen Rin, Ramen Yokozuna, Ginjo Ramen Kubota, and New Taihou, I enjoyed my daily dose of noodles for sure. It is also worth noting that there is a convenience store across the street and a pharmacy a little down the street. The pharmacy is a great place to pick up 2L bottles of drinks, but be warned that they might not be refrigerated. It's also worth noting that there is a Yoshinoya, McDonald's, and Yayoi Ken nearby so if you ever feel the need for a quick meal, it can easily me solved at a moment's notice. Overall, I would say this hotel is not one to stay at for the hotel experience, but rather as an option simply have a place to rest with proper privacy.

CCkyankcTitle: An Extraordinary Stay at an Exquisite Kyoto Gem Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at a truly remarkable hotel in Kyoto, and I can confidently say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. Nestled in the heart of Kyoto, the hotel's location was simply perfect. The hotel's architecture and interior design were a true reflection of Kyoto's aesthetic beauty. The moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility and harmony. The attention to detail was impeccable, with traditional Japanese elements seamlessly integrated into the contemporary design. The serene garden views from the common areas only added to the overall charm and provided a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city. The staff members at the hotel were the epitome of hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist with any request created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. GGuest UserRoom was very clean and comfortable, though pillows were a bit flat. I liked that the bathroom had a separate standing shower area and bathtub, instead of being combined like many Japan hotels tend to offer. Could do with some hooks for hanging your clothes though. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety, they even serve ice-cream. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel.

YYI HUEYThe accommodation experience in the townhouse is really authentic. The house is beautiful and very comfortable as soon as you enter the house. No matter how you take photos there, it is very interesting. We were very satisfied with the food at the hotel because we have family members who don’t eat beef. Although the hotel couldn’t do it at first, they were willing to communicate and let us choose different foods. Thank you very much!

AAhmet ZekiDear Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard. However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements: 1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Once again, I want to thank you for the exceptional design and comfort provided during my stay and hope that these suggestions contribute to further elevating your standards. Best regards, next visit to Kyoto.
