Title: An Extraordinary Stay at an Exquisite Kyoto Gem Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at a truly remarkable hotel in Kyoto, and I can confidently say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I stepped foot into this elegant establishment until the day of my departure, every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. Nestled in the heart of Kyoto, the hotel's location was simply perfect. It provided easy access to some of the city's most iconic landmarks and cultural attractions, ensuring that I could explore the beauty of Kyoto with utmost convenience. Whether it was the majestic Kinkaku-ji Temple or the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, everything was within reach, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the city's rich heritage. The hotel's architecture and interior design were a true reflection of Kyoto's aesthetic beauty. The moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility and harmony. The attention to detail was impeccable, with traditional Japanese elements seamlessly integrated into the contemporary design. The serene garden views from the common areas only added to the overall charm and provided a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city. The staff members at the hotel were the epitome of hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist with any request created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Their knowledge of the local area and recommendations for sightseeing and dining were invaluable, enabling me to make the most of my time in Kyoto. The room I stayed in was a haven of luxury and elegance. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, it exuded a sense of serenity that allowed me to unwind after a day of exploration. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the comfortable bedding to the carefully curated amenities.

Outstanding hotel in a very convenient location. We experienced amazing service! Adding to that a beautifully appointed room, cleaned daily, bath robes and disposable slippers, water in the room. Sleek.modern shower and bath. Laundry facilities. Funky roof-top bar. The most enjoyable experience!! We would love to come again. Millions of thanks.

This is a wonderful hotel. We’ve stayed 3 days in a twin room. It was much larger than other twin rooms we’ve stayed at in Japan. The bathroom had a bath and shower room. The room was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. So was the entire hotel. The rooftop terrace is a great space for an afternoon cocktail (we’ve tried a couple of the signature cocktails and were not disappointed!) The food at the red was a little overpriced. The gym space is small, but if you’re into doing a bit of cardio- it will suffice. There are 3 washing machines which we used (coins only!) Location wise: 9 min walk to train station, 12 min walk to “geisha district” and 20 min walk to the famous markets. The absolute stand out of our stay was the bakery, which we indulged at every morning. The savoury baked goods as well as sweet options were to die for. The potato bun stuffed with different types of potatoes was 10/10. Coffee was ok, very expensive at ¥700 Overall, we loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Modern and chic hotel in a central Kyoto location. Had the best nights sleep in the comfortable beds and the shower was incredible. We enjoyed food and cocktails at the restaurant which were also of a very high standard. Treats at the bakery were also fabulous. However, we would have preferred the option for coffee in the room as you would most hotels of this standard rather than being forced to purchase it as extra. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Kyoto!

Lovely hotel. Rooms weren't that spacious but adequate in amenities. Lobby Cafe and bakery is a must try, yummy delicious!!

Lovely lobby, bakery and rooftop bar. Very good service and responsive via email. Clean and complete amenities in room, although a little small.

Very nice hotel right on the edge of the Gion area. Rooms are excellent for the money and the bakery is great. 10 min walk to to subway and a little out the way of Kyoto station.
