Kunming Jianhua Express Hotel (Railway Station Branch)

I just booked a transit room randomly, and ended up discovering a hidden gem! The value for money is absolutely unbeatable; you won't find anything comparable in this area at this price point. The owner and front desk staff are incredibly friendly and approachable, completely free of that cold, impersonal service feel. They're attentive to every detail, whether it's storing luggage, recommending local snacks, or helping to call a taxi. They even patiently answer questions late at night. Their sincerity and genuineness truly shine through. The room was spotlessly clean, and both hot water and WiFi were perfectly reliable. There were no hidden charges whatsoever. You really get to stay comfortably and at ease for very little money. Whether you're a transit traveler catching a train or subway, a budget backpacker, or on a short business trip, you can book this place with your eyes closed – you won't regret it! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely be staying here again. I've already recommended it to my friends!

I've stayed at their place many times, and every time it feels like coming home. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the owner is incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend it!

I had a very pleasant 5-night stay. The hotel is ideally located just a few minutes from a metro station and a 10-minute walk from the train station. The staff was welcoming, and my room was quiet. There are many restaurants and shops nearby.

It's very convenient to go anywhere, with bus and subway stations right outside. Most importantly, the rooms are very clean, and the owner said the sheets are changed for each guest, making it a comfortable stay.

The location is quite good, but the bathroom entrance has a high threshold, so it is not recommended for the elderly or people with mobility issues.

The surrounding area has convenient transportation, is very close to Kunming Railway Station, has a bus stop across the street and is also close to the subway station, making it easy to get around.

The housekeeping staff were incredibly rude. They forgot my phone charger in the room and asked me to bring it to the courier. A regular charger would be fine, but this was my original charger. They treated me like I owed them money, even though I was paying cash on delivery. This bad review isn't for the hotel, it's for the housekeeping staff.

The hotel facilities are very basic, and the service is passable. I don't recommend that you sign a contract with this hotel!
