Very great place. The Korean gentleman was too good. Wooden cabin. Smelt like natural wood inside the room and had perfect amenities.

Quiet location in the centre of Hahei village. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Clean and comfortable room though relatively small, minimal kitchenette. Terrace in the garden with table and chairs. Fine for a short stay.

Room was as described and was perfect for our short stay. Due to a flight delay, we got there later than anticipated and the owner was very accommodating and got us situated when we got in. Being able to borrow a shovel for the hot water beach was a plus too!

The accommodation was perfect for us and having food places next door was very convenient. The outlook was beautiful. I wish we had more time to spend on the premises to enjoy it.

We know Hahei very well having spent many holidays there and when we had a family wedding planned we were looking for accommodation that was about as central as you can get to everything the area has to offer and chose Tatahi Lodge - private quiet and comfortable - we thoroughly recommend staying there. We absolutely loved our stay at the Tatahi Beach Resort. Staff were friendly and welcoming with lots of tips about things to do. Room was very clean with a great little backyard area with outside table. Resort was right in the centre of town and close to restaurants and the beach. Hahei was a lovely town!!

The relaxed atmosphere with at the lodge complex is perfect for a family beach holiday. The complex is beautifully manicured, and the owners and staff ensure your comfort without being intrusive. We will be back.

Other than needing an extra pillow. It was a great hotel for that area. Loved the staff. They were so kind and helpful. The gardens were gorgeous. So close to the beach and hiking

Hahei is storybook gorgeous, and the convenience of the Tatahi Lodge could not be topped. Very clean, spacious with a kind man running the show. We were pleased with our decision to stay there. One bit of feedback: the mattress in cabin #2 was a bit tired.

Lovely spot to stay. Right in the heart of the little town. Easy walk to beach. Room was very clean. Nice little back patio. Convenient parking. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous stay, the warmest of welcomes, great location. We stayed in Garden Cottage and our accommodation was very well equipped, extremely comfortable, lovely outdoor space, we enjoyed a BBQ on Christmas Day. The Pour House bar/restaurant is two minutes walk and offers great food and selection of drinks. We took the ferry from Hahei Beach to Cathedral Cove which offered excellent photo opportunities. Whitianga is 30 minutes drive away where there are two large supermarkets and a promenade to enjoy drinks overlooking the water. Hot Water Beach is a 10 minute drive and definitely a must- the water is sooooo hot if you dig in the right place!! - highly recommend staying here!

Awesome location, close to beach, cafes and brewpub. Proprietor is helpful with abundant amenities and the property is charming. Hahei is a great place to relax, explore and Tatahi Lodge is the place to stay!
