I booked a 'Superior King Room' through Ctrip, but the decor was quite old. The next day, thanks to the enthusiastic assistance of Sunny, the duty manager in the lobby, I managed to extend my stay in a 'Deluxe King Room,' which was much brighter and more satisfying! What's more, when Sunny learned that a family member wasn't feeling well, she promptly sent up a fruit platter and advised us to take more Vitamin C – it was a really thoughtful gesture! The floor attendants were also very polite, always greeting us with a smile, refilling water promptly, and providing excellent turndown service every night. The hotel breakfast didn't have an overwhelming variety, but the taste, quality, and freshness were all excellent, and the restaurant service was prompt and warm. Very satisfied overall. The hotel is conveniently located near the subway and bus stops, making it easy to get around.

The location is fantastic, directly opposite the Japanese Embassy, just a stone's throw from Solana (Blue Harbor), and not far from Liangma River, making for lovely strolls. Plus, there are tons of restaurants available on food delivery apps. This is definitely an older, well-established hotel, with that charm of economic prosperity from the last century. Some facilities are indeed a bit dated, which I expected before checking in, but it doesn't detract from the overall positive experience. The water pressure in the shower is excellent, and the soundproofing is also good. The beds are super soft, which might take some getting used to if you prefer a firm mattress. The service is superb – very polite and attentive. The restaurants downstairs also provide excellent service; you can even order food and have them pack it up and deliver it directly to your room. Surprisingly, the TV has NHK, which makes sense given its history as the China-Japan Friendship Exchange Center. Overall, it's great value for money, especially at just over 300 during the off-season.

Really good! I arrived very early after my flight and was able to check in several hours in advance, the front desk service was excellent. The hotel is very new, and the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had a rain shower with good water pressure. The room wasn't facing the street, so it was quiet. It's also very close to the subway station. There are KFC and McDonald's nearby. There was a minor issue, but the staff handled it with a great attitude. Overall, a very good experience.

Pros: The suite is so spacious you could throw a party in it. It's very clean. Good location. The design looks pleasing, but it's not very comfortable to stay in (see cons below). Cons: They compare themselves to five-star hotels, but the suite only has one bathroom. (My partner and I had to fight over the toilet for the first time in a suite). The electric curtain controls are only on the bedside table, not next to the curtains themselves. Sharing the lobby with an office building feels a bit off, like you're sneaking around. The space is huge but incredibly empty. The unusable empty space in the suite could fit three 'Mixue Bingcheng' ice cream shops. The design aesthetic far outweighs its practicality. Breakfast... let's just say it leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, it's okay. However, it definitely doesn't match the price point or its claim of being a five-star hotel. I feel like their standard rooms might offer better value for money and could be worth trying, but I'd advise against booking a suite.

💚💛 I'd always heard Atour was a business hotel, but it wasn't until I stayed at this Atour near Beijing Chaoyang Station with my parents that I realized what a true 'hidden gem' it is! ♥️ From the hardware to the software, Atour's excellence is truly in the details… 🎈At 8:30 PM, just as we arrived at Beijing South Station, I received a message from the hotel saying that a quiet room, convenient for dining, had been prepared for my parents, and they thoughtfully provided congee for them (late-night congee service). 🎈The friendly front desk staff offered us pear juice, and since we were three people in a family room, they also gave us an extra breakfast voucher. 🎈The room was spacious, equipped with a comfortable sofa and a table, and didn't feel crowded at all, even with three large and three small pieces of luggage. 🎈The sweet and delicious 'Atour Tea' – turns out all the drinks in the mini-fridge are complimentary! 🎈I was amazed by the bath products; the shampoo actually gave my hair the fluffy feeling of a high-end brand. 🎈The bath towels were individually packaged, non-disposable, sterilized, and convenient – safe, reliable, and trustworthy! 🎈The bathroom had the much-anticipated retractable clothesline – I loved it! 🎈The bedding, as always, was excellent – the kind that makes you fall asleep instantly. 🎈Breakfast details are in the picture below. 🎈It was my first time having a deluxe version of Beijing-style soy milk and fried dough sticks! 🍳🥗🫕🍜🍴🍉🍇 Throughout our month-long trip, no matter where we stopped or which hotel we stayed at, I always felt that the first hotel we checked into, [Atour Beijing Chaoyang Park Chaoyang Station], was the most heartwarming. Location: Right outside Exit B of Shilipu Station on Line 6, next to Luckin Coffee. It's incredibly convenient for getting around by subway, making it easy to visit attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. Both the front desk staff and cleaning ladies were very friendly. There's also a washing machine and dryer available. Overall: I was quite satisfied with everything – convenient location, large space, and comfortable bedding!

The owner provided thoughtful service and was always quick to respond to any issues. The facilities were comprehensive, with ample lockers and power outlets. The environment was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting. Overall, my experience exceeded expectations, offering great value for money. It's an excellent choice for solo travelers visiting Beijing, and I would definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended for anyone traveling alone!

First off, the location is fantastic and super convenient. It's just a 3-stop subway ride from Beijing Chaoyang Station, and then a straight walk of less than 200 meters – I almost walked past it! It's also very close to Sanlitun, an easy stroll away. Secondly, the service was good; check-in was smooth, and the cleaning staff (Ayi) was lovely. Thirdly, the facilities are comprehensive. The fridge is a summer essential, the air conditioning works great, and the shower head is decent. I forgot to request a room not at the end of the hall when I booked, and sure enough, that's exactly where I ended up. The soundproofing isn't great; I was worried my 'Xiao Du' (smart speaker) would get activated by the young lady next door calling hers. I'm not sure if it's because it's on the ground floor, but the bathroom had a musty smell, and there were occasional small flying insects. The blackout curtains aren't the best, but thankfully I'm a good sleeper. Overall, for late June in Beijing, I'd say it offers good value for money.

Soundproofing in the room was decent; I only heard very loud conversations, but no other noise. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Overall, very satisfied.
