Hotels in Yizhuang Area, Beijing

Hello everyone, I want to share my experience staying at the Pullman Beijing South. When we made our booking, we requested an early check-in. We arrived in Beijing early in the morning, and by 10 AM, we were at the hotel. After an overnight flight, we were naturally tired, especially our 6-year-old child. Owen greeted us and offered not only a complimentary early check-in but also an upgrade to a business room, for which we are truly grateful! 🤝👍 Getting a few more hours of sleep was priceless!!! The room was clean, and I especially want to highlight the incredibly comfortable pillows, duvets, and mattress. Upon waking, we were offered a complimentary fruit platter – respect to them!! The hotel's location is also worth noting. Our plans included visiting Universal Park, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, and Beijing Outlet for shopping. These locations are quite spread out, so we chose a compromise: Beijing Outlet is closer to the airport, making it easier to plan transfers to and from the airport. The hotel is roughly equidistant from Universal Park and the Forbidden City 👌. The route to the Great Wall takes a significant amount of time, and it doesn't really matter where in Beijing you're coming from, plus one of the Beijing Outlets is conveniently located along the way. So, when choosing between a 3-4 star hotel in central Beijing (which would still require taxis or other transport) or a 5-star hotel with what we considered a more practical location within the same price range, we opted for the Pullman. Service was 5 out of 5!!! The room was cleaned every day, without any complaints or shortcomings! Breakfasts were good, with a rich selection to suit every taste. One day, we returned late from Universal Park and decided to have dinner in the room. Our son really, really wanted pineapple, but where do you get it at 10:30 PM? It wasn't on the restaurant menu, and there was no pineapple on the fruit platter. What to do? My wife and I ordered burgers (delicious!!!), and for our child, we ordered nuggets/sweet potato/potato pancakes from the children's menu, and we also asked for pineapple, even though it wasn't on the menu. And yes, to our surprise and delight, a freshly peeled, served, juicy, chilled pineapple appeared on a huge tray! (Complimentary!) Our child was incredibly happy about it!! Customer focus at its best! Special thanks to Owen, who was in contact with us daily via WeChat, giving us excellent advice, accurate weather forecasts (more accurate than Apple's, by the way), and addressing all our requests. He was essentially a personal concierge service. A year earlier, I stayed in 5-star hotels from other well-known brands in Beijing and Wuhan, but I never experienced this level of service or was offered a concierge. First time in Beijing Yizhuang, and I just randomly picked the Echeng Hotel, but what a pleasant surprise! When I stay at a hotel, cleanliness is my top priority, and this place absolutely nailed it. The room was meticulously cleaned; the floors were sparkling, the desk spotless, and the bathroom tiles and toilet rim were perfectly clean, with not a single water mark or stain. The bedding looked incredibly comfortable, the duvet was soft, and the sheets and duvet cover were crisp and dry – I felt instantly relaxed lying down. The front desk lady was super nice, spoke very gently, and checked me in quickly. She was patient and helpful with all my questions. The room facilities were all very new; the air conditioning, lights, and outlets worked perfectly, and hot water was instant and at a perfect temperature. The internet speed was stable and perfectly fine for daily use. Eating out is also convenient, with small shops downstairs and within walking distance. This is my first time in Beijing, and I'm so glad I found such a satisfying hotel. I truly recommend it!

Struck gold with this find! I booked this place on a whim, and it far exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff proactively upgraded me to a higher floor and patiently explained the local transportation and dining options. The room was spotless with no odd smells, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and hot water came instantly. The bed was just the right firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing was excellent. While the breakfast wasn't a huge spread, the taste was spot on. For this price, the quality is incredible – such great value for money! I'll definitely be staying here again whenever I'm in town.

This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is superb, surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants, with convenient public transport links, making it incredibly easy to get around for both leisure and business. The front desk staff were warm and patient, handling both check-in and check-out efficiently and smoothly. The room hygiene was impeccable; the desk and floor, along with all bathroom corners, were spotlessly clean. The bedding was fluffy and soft, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Hot water was instant and plentiful. The room's soundproofing was excellent, with virtually no noise from the corridor or outside. All in-room facilities were in perfect working order, and housekeeping was prompt and attentive whenever called. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, offering outstanding value for money compared to other hotels in its class. It's ideal for both tourists and business travelers. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all travelers.

I chose this hotel mainly because it's a five-star with large rooms, unlike the Holiday Inn Express nearby. **Facilities:** They are indeed quite old. The most inconvenient thing is that the sink is too low, and the mirror is hung very high. A woman under 160cm has to bend over to use it, which is tiring. The mirror is also too high. One window in the room can open, but it's hard to close once opened. The facilities are too old and lack maintenance. There's only an electrical outlet on one side of the bed. **Service:** I was satisfied with the service. They provided plenty of water, four bottles daily. The front desk also upgraded me to the 26th floor and provided fruit. However, the peaches were too sour, but the apples were excellent. **Environment:** It's quite quiet. Once the windows are closed, there's no noise. **Air Conditioning:** The AC couldn't reach a low temperature; it only went down to about 24 degrees Celsius. **Breakfast:** There were a lot of tour groups, making the lobby noisy, and it was hard to find a seat in the breakfast area. The breakfast selection was rich, but the quality was average, not really five-star. **Overall Best Aspects:** The large room size and good service attitude. **Value for Money:** The Ctrip price was a bit high. I saw a group purchase price of around 400 yuan on other platforms, while Ctrip was around 600 yuan.

The environment here is fantastic! It's a newly opened hotel with excellent service. The lobby feels like a free library, with all sorts of books – it's incredibly cozy and studious. My room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows, so the natural light was amazing. The facilities are great too; there's a washer-dryer combo, and the internet speed is super fast. I absolutely love this hotel! The late-night congee was delicious. The complimentary bedtime milk and welcome coffee (Americano) were a lovely touch.

From the welcoming tea upon arrival to the smiling farewell at check-out, every single detail made us feel incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness was impeccable. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The service was warm and attentive, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and there were so many thoughtful little touches. This truly felt like a service with a heart. We will definitely choose Atour again next time.

The location is easy to find and parking is convenient. The computer configuration in the room is very high, and the large operation is completely stress-free. The sanitation is extremely clean and the bedding is comfortable and odorless. The front desk service response is very fast. Very cost-effective, will bring friends next time.

The hotel also offers free ironing, copying, and printing services, which perfectly suited my business travel needs. The breakfast buffet was constantly refilled and offered mild, pleasant-tasting options. Anne and Xiao Hao were professional and not intrusive, and any issues I reported were handled very quickly. The facilities are well-maintained, and the overall amenities are excellent, making this a top choice for regular business travelers.

This time, we stayed in a suite at the Holiday Inn Express Beijing Yizhuang, and it was a great experience with the kids. The suite was spacious enough for the little ones to move around freely, so we never felt cramped. The location is convenient, with plenty of shopping centers nearby. The biggest plus was the late checkout option; it meant we didn't have to rush to pack up, which made things much more relaxed when traveling with children. The front desk service was attentive, and they responded quickly to our requests. Overall, it's a comfortable and reliable choice that won't disappoint, especially if you're on a suitable budget.
