Hotels in Shunyi Hot Spring Leisure Area, Beijing

I brought my foreign colleagues to this hotel again. The front desk service was warm and attentive, especially Josie! The hotel has a gym, laundry facilities, and free coffee, which are all very popular with foreign guests! It's very suitable for international visitors. I'll be back again next month, five-star review! 👍

I arrived at the hotel at 2 PM, only to be told my room wasn't ready. It took about 20 minutes for them to clean it. Because of the delay, the duty manager that day offered me a complimentary breakfast. I saw a sign for the gym when I entered the elevator, but when I got to the floor, there was only one treadmill and one exercise bike. They shouldn't call that a 'gym'; it's just 'fitness facilities' or 'fitness equipment.' The projector in the room was a bit laggy when trying to cast from my phone, so I didn't bother using it much. If you want to use the built-in software, you need an Aurora TV membership. The breakfast selection was quite good, and the fried rice made in the steamer was delicious.

Knowing it's an older hotel, I didn't have high expectations for the hardware facilities; just something decent would do, as the main purpose was to enjoy the hot springs. However, the hygiene was appalling. The toilet wasn't cleaned properly, there were hairs in the towels, and after the first fill of the hot spring tub, there were skin flakes in the water. There was dirt in the room corners, a torn bath salt packet corner in the drainage groove next to the tub, and a snack bag corner in the corner by the sofa. When I sat on the sofa, a cloud of dust rose. The drinks and snacks in the minibar didn't match what was listed on Ctrip. After inquiring, they offered a fruit platter, which was also of poor quality, with tasteless fruit. The hotel is located in a park area with a pleasant environment, including a lawn where a wedding was being held that day. Breakfast is served in what seems to be the visitor center to the right of the main entrance, so you have to leave the hotel for breakfast. Soaking in the hot springs was relaxing, but the hygiene was just terrible. My friend, who might be more sensitive, felt there was a strange odor in the room.

Staying in Beijing, I decided to spend a night near Capital Airport. This hotel offered a shuttle service which was very convenient. The driver was incredibly patient; my flight was delayed, but he kindly waited a few extra minutes for me, otherwise, I would have had to take the next shuttle. The hotel's king-sized bed had a really cool, sunken design. Check-in was super smooth, and the front desk staff were very patient. Although the room wasn't huge, it was exceptionally clean. The hotel also provides a free 24-hour laundry room and gym. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'm planning to stay here again on my way out of Beijing. Highly recommended!

After a long flight, tired travelers would probably appreciate a faster arrival experience. For example, requesting ID documents in advance could help speed things up. On the positive side, the breakfast was fantastic. Easily one of the highlights of the stay, with a wide selection and good quality food. Coffee -- you rarely expect hotel machine coffe to be this good, especially in Asian countries.

Overall, the experience met my expectations, and I'll prioritize this hotel for my next business trip.

The hotel's size and room spaciousness would be perfectly acceptable for a five-star hotel. The receptionist at check-in was friendly and clearly an experienced staff member. However, the details fall far short of what you'd expect from a five-star establishment. At 1439 RMB, the value for money is extremely poor. There were obvious sticky marks on the bedside table, and the room didn't even have simple coffee, let alone a mini-bar – the fridge was just wasting electricity. The tea bags looked worse than those you'd find in a budget hotel. The toilet paper was incredibly thin, the toilet wasn't smart, and the carpet looked faded. The floor tiles right inside the bathroom door were loose, creaking with every step I took. What I found most outrageous were the slippers; they were such poor quality that they started falling apart after just a few hours of wear, and the soles were so thin it felt like walking barefoot. They've really cut corners too much here; I've never encountered anything like it. The breakfast dishes were unremarkable and very ordinary. Overall, I've never stayed at a five-star hotel with such a bad experience.

The hotel offers free 24-hour airport shuttle service, and the accommodation isn't expensive. The rooms are quite spacious, offering great value for money. The WeChat customer service team also has an excellent attitude! Since it was recently renovated, the in-room facilities are very new, making for a comfortable stay. However, I do have a suggestion: I hope they can optimize the pick-up service or inform passengers about the estimated waiting time. After I arrived at the designated exit as instructed, I waited for about half an hour for the car to arrive, which was a bit too long, especially in the hot weather. Moreover, after getting in the car, I found out we had to detour to other terminals to pick up more people. This ended up being much slower than if I had taken a taxi myself. I hope they can improve this aspect in the future or at least inform customers beforehand, so I can weigh whether to take a taxi or not. Overall, it was still good.

The lobby is quite spacious, but the room's facilities are pretty average, as is the bedding – it doesn't quite meet the standards I'd expect from a Ji Hotel. The service was also just okay. When I checked out in the morning, I had to wait for their manager to arrive to get my invoice. There was also a hiccup during check-in: the room assigned to me was already occupied. The front desk changed my room, explaining that another guest had mistakenly entered it, and offered me drinks and biscuits as an apology.

The hotel's location is superb, very close to shopping and dining. The overall environment is clean and tidy, and the room has excellent natural light with brand new facilities. The staff are friendly and responsive to requests. The bed is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Toiletries are comprehensive, and hygiene details are well-maintained, all at a reasonable price. Overall, it was a great stay with no disappointments. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling and definitely worth coming back to!
