Hotels in Shunyi Hot Spring Leisure Area, Beijing

I brought my foreign colleagues to this hotel again. The front desk service was warm and attentive, especially Josie! The hotel has a gym, laundry facilities, and free coffee, which are all very popular with foreign guests! It's very suitable for international visitors. I'll be back again next month, five-star review! 👍

I arrived at the hotel at 2 PM, only to be told my room wasn't ready. It took about 20 minutes for them to clean it. Because of the delay, the duty manager that day offered me a complimentary breakfast. I saw a sign for the gym when I entered the elevator, but when I got to the floor, there was only one treadmill and one exercise bike. They shouldn't call that a 'gym'; it's just 'fitness facilities' or 'fitness equipment.' The projector in the room was a bit laggy when trying to cast from my phone, so I didn't bother using it much. If you want to use the built-in software, you need an Aurora TV membership. The breakfast selection was quite good, and the fried rice made in the steamer was delicious.

The room was spacious, and the private onsen on the balcony was well-designed. For those who enjoy a romantic atmosphere, I recommend buying rose petals in advance; I ended up ordering them via delivery after arriving at the hotel. Overall, the hot spring area (onsen hub) felt just okay. There weren't many options for fruit and drinks, but it wasn't overly crowded, so it was decent. However, the hotel's outdoor environment is excellent and very suitable for families with babies. It would be even more considerate if guests could have unlimited access to the hot spring area throughout their stay.

The overall environment is clean and tidy, with complete basic facilities. It's quite close to the airport, and the front desk even provides earplugs. There's a gym, but there were too many mosquitoes. The front desk didn't have mosquito repellent, and there was no water or mosquito coils/liquid provided in the gym. The front desk told me I'd have to go to my room to get them. I already made one trip to my room for water, and now another for mosquito coils – I really dislike having to stop my workout halfway through; it's quite inconvenient. Breakfast is available. I tend to eat clean, so I didn't try the stir-fries and can't comment on them. They have coffee, milk, soy milk, porridge, and wontons. For fruit, there's bananas and watermelon, plus fried eggs and boiled eggs. It's a great choice for fitness enthusiasts! As for the gym equipment, there's a squat rack with accessories as shown in the pictures, which is enough for some basic exercises. There are also two treadmills and two exercise bikes. There's a good variety of cardio equipment, which is nice.

The hotel has all the necessary facilities, including a washing machine with a dryer, which is very convenient. The breakfast is plentiful, the mattresses are just the right firmness, the hotel is clean and odor-free, and the service is excellent.

The hotel offers free parking, which is shared with other businesses. Finding a spot can be a bit of a hunt. In the higher-floor rooms, you can hear a strong wind at night; it's partly due to the weather, but also because the windows aren't sealed properly. The noise from the next room was quite disruptive. Other than that, it was okay.

It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

The service here is excellent, and the environment is very good. The laundry service is a plus, especially with the dryer that lets you monitor completion time via your phone. They even have a robot deliver items, and the unlimited supply of mineral water is a great touch. Breakfast is quite commendable, and the airport shuttle service was also very good, with patient staff. All the front desk personnel were nice. There's a supermarket and restaurants right next to the hotel, making dining very convenient. They also support room service, and the free sour plum soup and freshly ground coffee are highlights. The only downside is the fluctuating price; I stayed for several nights and paid different rates, even when extending my stay. It feels like booking in advance, and avoiding weekends, makes it much cheaper. Also, the hot water had a peculiar slippery feeling, and I'm not sure why.

Facilities: Fully equipped and modern, with multiple power outlets available, so you never have to worry about your electronic devices running out of battery. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Less than 1 km from Friendship Hospital Shunyi Campus. Service: Fast check-in and check-out.

The hotel's location is superb, very close to shopping and dining. The overall environment is clean and tidy, and the room has excellent natural light with brand new facilities. The staff are friendly and responsive to requests. The bed is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Toiletries are comprehensive, and hygiene details are well-maintained, all at a reasonable price. Overall, it was a great stay with no disappointments. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling and definitely worth coming back to!
