Atour Hotel Beijing China World Trade Center（Tuanjie Lake metro station)

My favorite part about Atour is their pillows; they're so much more comfortable than the puffy ones you usually find in hotels. The hotel environment and service are really nice too. Before I left, not only did they store my luggage, but they also helped me store a small watermelon! They also informed me that the Elegant King Room is typically at the very end or very beginning of each floor, so Atour was very thoughtful to upgrade me to a twin room in the middle of the floor. The only downside was the buffet breakfast. If I had to pay full price for it, I feel like there are many better options nearby. But I guess that's a common issue with hotel buffet breakfasts.

The room type was at the very end of the hallway, and the window, which felt pointless, even had a curtain outside, so you couldn't see anything. The black wall next to it was twice its width. It felt really stuffy, but the service and cleanliness were good.

The staff provided excellent service, handling check-in promptly. The room was cleaned daily and kept spotless, with amenities replenished regularly. The room itself was spacious, and the large vanity was very convenient to use. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, and the smart toilet worked perfectly. Soundproofing in the room was decent; I only heard very loud conversations, but no other noise. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Overall, very satisfied.

The room was bigger than I expected. The location is excellent, making it convenient for both taxis and subways.

First, let's talk about the service. The staff were all warm, polite, and responsive, always willing to meet my requests. However, the lady at the front desk who handled my check-in seemed unfamiliar with the process. I only asked for a room with a sofa, and it took her over ten minutes to sort it out. She even needed a male colleague next to her to remind her how to do it. On top of that, I had to pay twice to upgrade my room twice, which was not a good experience. Also, I waited until late at night for the laundry machines to be free. I waited from 2 AM until past 4 AM, only to find that the two dryers, which had been running for 120 minutes, contained only one pair of pants and one shirt, and they were still folded! If this was staff operating them, it's a huge waste of resources! I ended up not sleeping all night just waiting for those two machines! The room facilities are a bit old, as you can see from the pictures. I forgot to take a photo of the black tape on the shower handle. It wouldn't cost much to re-caulk the moldy areas and replace the hose! Everything else was alright, but I hope these issues can be improved!

The location is great, right behind Tuanjie Lake. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. They even gave us bottled water when we checked out, and it was thoughtfully pre-warmed, which I really appreciated. It's those little details that make all the difference, and I'll definitely choose Atour again next time.

The service was great... always responsive. On the first night, half the power in our room wasn't working, but since we didn't want to switch rooms, the front desk quickly sent an electrician to fix it. They resolved the issue very promptly. The laundry facilities (washer and dryer) were convenient, and the excellent location made it easy to get anywhere. I'll definitely book this place again on my next trip to Beijing.
