The family room was cozy and beautifully decorated, with clean floors and a comfortable atmosphere. The service was warm and welcoming, and the hotel lobby was spacious and elegant. My family and children absolutely loved it. The location is great, situated in Ju'er Hutong, close to Nanluoguxiang and Shichahai. A taxi will take you to Jiaodaokou South Street, and it's about a 500-meter walk from there.

Before arriving, I was a bit worried about the cleanliness (even though I'd seen many reviews praising how clean and tidy it was). But when I got to the guesthouse, it was genuinely spotless, from the front desk to the hallways and every corner of the room! In the morning, I even saw staff members on ladders, wiping dust off shelves. The staff were also incredibly attentive; when they cleaned my room and saw my fruit, they left a note reminding me that there's a fridge in the lobby I could use for storage, which was very thoughtful! The auntie at the breakfast restaurant was also very warm-hearted!

What a pleasant surprise, this courtyard hotel! At night, the red lanterns illuminate the wooden beams, creating a fantastic ambiance in the traditional Chinese courtyard with stunning views. The entire room is equipped with Xiaodu smart voice control, allowing you to turn lights on/off and play music with just a voice command – the level of smart tech far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and comfortable. Overall, the experience completely surpassed what I anticipated. It's definitely worth coming back to, and this will be my first choice for future stays!

A truly delightful stay! I accidentally booked the wrong check-in date, but the lovely lady at the front desk was incredibly patient and helped me sort it out. When I arrived, it was scorching hot in Beijing – I felt like I was melting! Luckily, the reception area had ice-cold bottled water, which was an absolute lifesaver. I'd read reviews saying the rooms were small, but after checking in, I realized the location is simply fantastic. With such a prime spot, any other minor issues don't really matter. It's about 100 meters from Ji Shui Tan subway station exit. In the morning, you can cycle to Gulou in about 12 minutes to enjoy some Stir-fried Liver. Most major attractions are only about 4 subway stops away, which made me so happy that I extended my stay for two more days!

The room was very clean and well-equipped. The TV allowed for watching shows and listening to music. The hotel also had many places to sit, relax, and take photos. When I ordered takeout, the security guard even helped deliver it to my room. The hotel's location might be a bit inconvenient if you're taking a taxi, but it's only a three-minute walk to Shichahai, which is super convenient.

I was initially worried about the negative reviews regarding the inconvenient taxi access, but after staying here, I think it's fantastic, especially the shadow puppet show – it left a lasting impression! I truly love this intangible cultural heritage. Plus, Ms. Amy helped me with my luggage when I checked out, and also when I checked in. She's great!

Staying at the Courtyard Hotel was an overall excellent experience. The decor is simple yet tasteful. Although the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed and very clean. I heard it was renovated in 2023. It even had a table and chairs. During the day, you could bask in the sun, which was incredibly relaxing. The front desk service was also very warm and attentive; they even offered to help with our luggage, which made us feel very welcome. In terms of location, it's very close to the subway station, making it convenient for visiting attractions.

Really enjoyed our 4-night stay here and was extremely satisfied with the service. When we first arrived, there was some confusion with the hotel system and the room we booked was not available. We were quite disappointed at first, but the staff immediately worked on a solution for us. Throughout the whole stay, everyone was sincere, polite and helpful. Breakfast was great too, with slightly different dishes each day. There was also complimentary supper provided every night. The laundry room was also efficient and the location was great. A special shoutout to Tao Tu, who honestly made our stay even more memorable. She was one of the most sincere and thoughtful staff we met during the trip. She was always smiling, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about the guests. Her service attitude was excellent, and she went beyond what we expected. When she found out we were taking a flight after checking out, she thoughtfully prepared some amenities for us to bring along. It was such a small gesture, but it really showed how thoughtful she was and how much she cared about our experience. We truly appreciated it. Really grateful to Tao Tu and the whole team for turning an initially disappointing situation into such a positive stay. We absolutely love this place and would definitely come back!

The location is excellent, just about 500 meters from Shichahai subway station, and right next to the famous Drum Tower. The surrounding area largely retains the charm of ancient Beijing, with plenty of barbecue and hotpot restaurants nearby. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Chinese style, and some even have private balconies with classical tea tables, perfect for drying clothes or just relaxing.

I booked this hotel purely for its excellent location, knowing my trip was short – just three days. And the stay truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled in a classic Beijing hutong alley. A short, leisurely stroll, taking in the street views, and you're there. It's a pleasant surprise because of its design. The old house combined with modern aesthetics really elevates the HOSHINOYA experience to the fullest. And of course, that includes the breakfast with its fantastic dining environment. Plus, you can access Houhai Park directly by scanning your card from the hotel. Every morning after breakfast, it felt like I was a local going for a walk. It truly has a very human touch, for lack of a better phrase. 😊 But my absolute favorites were the welcome fruit and the delicious treats in the in-room minibar. Honestly, it was almost too good to be true! Special thanks to the handsome Kuan for his warm service. I rushed off and forgot a pair of glasses, and he thoughtfully arranged for them to be couriered. It was simply a perfect stay.
