My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care. Our butler, Willow, provided attentive and thoughtful service; she was warm, polite, and perfectly balanced, never being intrusive. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both authentic Beijing specialties and delicious Western options. The afternoon tea was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. This is definitely the top luxury hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Beijing that perfectly blends a convenient location with the atmosphere of traditional China. It is situated in a neighborhood of authentic *hutongs*, with their quiet lanes, historic charm, and distinctive Beijing character, yet is just minutes away from major streets and the city's main attractions. It is a very convenient base for exploring the city. I particularly loved the hotel's atmosphere: it strikes an amazing balance between modern comfort and traditional Chinese aesthetics. The lovely courtyard is designed in a classic Chinese style, featuring thoughtful landscaping, beautiful details, and a calm, cozy ambiance. It was a delight to return here after walking through bustling Beijing. The rooms are clean and comfortable; I was especially pleased to find a bathtub, a real treat after long walks around the city. The on-site laundry facilities are very convenient, which is particularly important for longer trips. The breakfasts deserve special mention, they are delicious, varied, and of high quality. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help; their attitude makes the stay even more pleasant. And, of course, one cannot overlook the charming cats, which add a special touch to the hotel and make it feel even cozier and more like home. This is not just a place to sleep, but a true haven of peace and beauty in the center of Beijing. We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience the atmosphere of authentic Beijing without sacrificing comfort.

The room was fine, except for the lack of a window. It offered great value for money and the surrounding area was excellent, with plenty of food and entertainment options right outside. There was Mr. Savage's ice cream and delicious copper pot hotpot, which was a real treat.

First of all, I am thrilled with the friendliness of the staff as he managed to change a new room for me as there is a smell of cigarettes. The hotel also provide the best amenities such as free self service laundry for people like me who stays over 5 days. Overall, we are happy with the our trip and it also change our perceptions towards how China has changed so much in terms of the people attitude and their good hospitality.

For my recent business trip to Beijing, I chose the Beijing Wangfujing Zilon Garden Hotel, located right in the heart of Wangfujing. I used to have reservations about 'hutong hotels' – thinking they were hard to access by car and inconvenient for luggage – so I was a bit apprehensive before checking in. However, my experience completely changed my mind. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Despite being nestled within the historical fabric of the hutongs, it boasts excellent accessibility. The hutong where the hotel is situated has a very wide road, allowing even large business vehicles to drive directly to the main entrance of the lobby. This completely eliminates the awkward situation of having to drag luggage a long way, which I’ve experienced at other hutong hotels. This is a huge advantage for guests with heavy luggage or those who value privacy. The entire hotel exudes a subtle elegance, a kind of 'inner beauty': Upon entering, you're greeted by a traditional courtyard layout. Pavilions and flowing water intertwine, perfectly balancing classical tranquility with a modern visual impact. The guest rooms are exquisitely decorated, with extensive use of natural wood creating a sense of understated sophistication. The soundproofing in the rooms is particularly outstanding. Even though you're just a few minutes' walk from the bustling Wangfujing Street and Longfu Temple, you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet indoors, truly embodying the concept of 'great hermits living in the city' (a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle). This is an excellent retreat that perfectly blends authentic Old Beijing hutong charm with modern business convenience. Whether it's strolling in the courtyard in the morning to experience its ancient Zen-like tranquility or enjoying its unique artistic ambiance in the evening, you can feel its distinct cultural heritage. If you're looking for a peaceful place in the bustling center of Beijing that offers both direct vehicle access and artistic flair, this is undoubtedly the perfect choice.

Excellent location near Tiananmen, Forbidden City and Wangfujing (all walkable). Subway just 10 mins away on foot, bus stop right outside with the major sight seeing lines. No breakfast provided but there’s enough food places around and an in house cafe. Room is clean and well sized, good for 2 big luggage open on the floor with space to walk and a large closet. Shampoo/ bath gel, slippers, toothbrushes provided. Shower has good water pressure although curtain is short so water tends to get out of the bath area, nothing a towel can’t solve. Shoutout to the front desk staff (Miss Tian/Liu/Zhang/Li) for their friendliness and helpfulness, esp to Miss Li (night desk) for her quick initiative and service recovery after a miscommunication on room cleaning early in our stay. Love the roof terrace. We were on the first floor and felt that the soundproofing was good.

This hotel, nestled in a *hutong* (alleyway), is easily accessible by car right to its entrance. It boasts a large courtyard for parking. The rooms themselves evoke a classic, Old Beijing charm, feeling clean and tranquil with comfortable bedding. The service is meticulous. It's an Atour hotel with an excellent location in a *hutong*, close to major attractions and very convenient for getting around. A top choice for accommodation when visiting Beijing.

The hotel is right on Wangfujing Street, and taxis can drop you off at the back. It's close to Peking Union Medical College Hospital and other attractions. Food delivery is very convenient, and Quanjude restaurant is right next door. The subway entrance is on Wangfujing Street. Although the alley feels a bit small due to the ongoing renovations next door, it's a great value for its central location. The lady at the front desk was lovely; she upgraded me to a room facing the back when she heard I had trouble sleeping. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and approachable, always greeting me. I'd definitely stay here again if the price remains stable. My only suggestion would be to consider adding robot service in the future! 😊

The room has an old-fashioned vibe, but it's very clean. Food delivery doesn't come directly to the hotel; you need to pick it up at the intersection. The area around the hotel is very quiet and feels safe. The hotel's own restaurant is quite good, reasonably priced, and clean. For the flag-raising ceremony, guests need to make a reservation a few days in advance via a mini-program. The hotel organizes group viewings, which means only one security check, allowing you to get a spot in the front rows.

The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The host, a lovely lady, was so kind and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel completely at ease. The location is super convenient, close to both the Forbidden City and the west campus of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. This trip to Beijing for my re-examination really showed me the city's kindness and warmth; I'm deeply touched.
