Hotels in Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area, Beijing

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

As a solo traveller on my first trip to Beijing, I had a pleasant stay at Dongsi Hotel. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the metro station and close to popular attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with the essential amenities needed for a good stay. What made my experience especially memorable was the warm hospitality of the staff. A special thanks to Yao Song Shan and Zhao Weicheng for their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to help whenever I had questions. Their excellent service made me feel welcomed and added to the overall positive experience. Overall, Dongsi Hotel offers great value for money and is a good choice for travellers looking for a convenient and comfortable base in Beijing. I would gladly stay here again.

The hotel environment is decent, clean enough, but nothing to write home about. Its biggest advantage is the excellent location; it's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, making it super convenient for commuting and sightseeing. However, the breakfast experience was really poor – limited variety, mediocre taste, and definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel for the breakfast.

Great place to stay, it is right outside Wangfujing station, steps away, and there was so much food on the main street! Room was very clean and they were very accomodating with extra toilet paper and water bottles! Would come back again :)

Staying at the Orange Crystal Hotel in Wangfujing for my Beijing Forbidden City photoshoot was the perfect choice! The location is unbeatable, right on Wangfujing Street, with direct walking access to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It's also super close to the Wangfu Century Ancient Style Makeup Studio, so after getting my Qing or Ming dynasty look done, I could head straight into the park for photos – everything flowed incredibly smoothly. The hotel was exceptionally generous with complimentary bottled water; I've stayed in countless hotels and never seen so much provided, so I didn't need to bring any of my own. The lobby amenities were thoughtful and complete, with a 24-hour self-service coffee machine and even building blocks for kids. It really maximized comfort for traveling with elderly family members and children. This is definitely my top choice for travel and photography trips!

Great place to stay as family of 4. Close to different restaurants, easy to get by and the staff working there are really amazing , helped us with booking for the forbidden city tour . Easy to communicate with and are willing to make your stay very comfortable.Strongly recommend this place.

I really need to give a detailed review of the services at Manxin Mansion this time, specifically my check-in experience. From the moment I entered the lobby with my child: 1. Every staff member I encountered greeted us with a smile. The check-in process was incredibly fast, and they proactively upgraded our room. 2. After we got to our room, a young man with glasses (apologies, I wasn't wearing my glasses at the time so I couldn't read his name tag) brought us some fruit and pastries 🥧. 3. Here's the crucial part: my child cut their foot while showering 🚿. I asked the young man if they had a band-aid. He immediately said yes and offered to bring it right away, then asked if I also needed iodine for disinfection. 👍👍 I'm truly grateful to him; the wound was treated very promptly. 4. I met a lovely service lady in the hallway and asked where I could do laundry. She immediately offered to take it for me. I asked if that was convenient for her, and she replied that it was very easy and she would bring it back to me once washed, hanging it on my doorknob before 7 PM. It was washed and returned very quickly. 👍👍 5. Because my child and I were so satisfied with Manxin Mansion's service, we decided to extend our stay. The front desk staff member, Xiao Su, very quickly helped me with the extension process. She was warm and smiling throughout, the process was fast, and she handled everything diligently. 👍👍 I know that after giving such a perfect score 💯, more and more guests will likely book based on this review, which might make it less convenient and easy for me to stay here again in the future. However, I genuinely hope that the hard work and dedication of the Manxin Mansion staff are fully respected and recognized!!

The hotel is very close to the Beijing People's Art Theatre, making it very convenient to go see plays. When I checked in that evening, the receptionist even upgraded my room. The room was spacious and clean; I was extremely satisfied!

The Oriental Sintra Hotel boasts an excellent location, right on Wangfujing Street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The soundproofing in the rooms is superb; you can't hear any outside noise. The interior decor is warm and comfortable, and you can tell the staff put a lot of thought into the details. The service is truly exceptional, with needs being met promptly. You can dial the front desk directly from your room phone, and they respond 24/7. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a coffee machine, delivery robot, water heater, and washing machine all available 24 hours for free. The tables and chairs are comfortable, perfect for both relaxing and light work. Definitely worth a return visit!

What a pleasant surprise, this courtyard hotel! At night, the red lanterns illuminate the wooden beams, creating a fantastic ambiance in the traditional Chinese courtyard with stunning views. The entire room is equipped with Xiaodu smart voice control, allowing you to turn lights on/off and play music with just a voice command – the level of smart tech far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and comfortable. Overall, the experience completely surpassed what I anticipated. It's definitely worth coming back to, and this will be my first choice for future stays!
