I highly recommend this hotel especially for foreigners (since it can host foreigners under the Chinese regulations). The location is very convenient - super close to the subway station (3 min-walk). The price is reasonable-great for the value. The hotel is clean. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. Every staff is EXTREMELY helpful and friendly, especially John at the front desk. I also had evening snack delivered by a pink robot - which is super cool. I have stayed at numerous hotels across the US and this one definitely stands out!

Stayed for two nights. On the first night, I found the sheets a little dirty. I contacted the front desk to change them. The efficiency was quite high. Then the room suddenly went out. My friend and I were sitting on the sofa and browsing our phones. The lights went out all the way from the entrance corridor. I was shocked. The air conditioner was turned on for heating. It should be a central air conditioner. People in the south can't stand it. There is no adjustment or cooling. After adjusting it, it will turn on the heating or make a creaking sound and then stop. The outrageous thing is that at 6 o'clock the next morning, the alarm clock on the bedside rang by itself... I turned it off three times before it was completely turned off. Combined with the previous night, I felt that this room was a little unclean. The next day, we deliberately didn't turn on the lights for cleaning the room, but they still arranged to clean the room. They didn't contact us whether our room needed cleaning. In the evening, we ordered takeaway supper. There was a robot, so we asked the guy to ask the front desk to bring it up with the machine. Emm, if it can't be put in, can we contact us to go down and get it ourselves? The robot brought it up. Our takeaway was put in horizontally. There is no need to think that the takeaway with soup must be all spilled. What kind of *** would do this? ? I also heard other guests passing by the front desk needing a robot to deliver food. After that, they hung up the phone and said something like ”it's so troublesome”. I don't know if they meant that it's troublesome for guests to need a robot to deliver food. It's really bad.

We went for a weekend staycation. Even. The the weather did not cooperate the hotel was great. Staff is friendly and professional. They are very accommodating, even though we checked in late, the restaurant still made us a full meal for dinner and they were near closing. There are plenty of food options (breakfast buffet was mediocre but had tasty choices), nice bar, great location, and shopping inside and around. The interior decor is excellent.

Very satisfied, from the check-in experience to the hot spring experience, the overall feeling is like home. Booked two rooms and brought the elderly and two children to play together. Everyone felt very good! Especially the room manager took special care of the elderly and children! I will come again next time, highly recommended.
Grand Metropark Jinhai Lake Hotel

Pinggu Urban Area
We were very happy with our stay here. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, there was a slight cigarette smell in the room which wasn't very pleasant when we walked in and out but apart from that was fine. The food was great! plenty for all tastes and enough western options. The swimming pool was great, a slight odor around the pool area but every thing was clean enough. we would stay again
