Opting for the New Otani Chang Fu Gong for my Beijing trip was a great choice; the overall stay was consistently excellent and thoughtful, truly reflecting the quality of a seasoned high-end hotel. The service was warm and meticulous. Every day, they'd leave Beijing specialty snacks in the room – classic local pastries and treats. Coming back after a day of sightseeing to these delightful surprises was incredibly heartwarming. The breakfast was of a high standard, with a rich variety of choices, and a distinct Japanese flair. The tender omelets, crispy capelin, and exquisite Japanese pastries were all authentically prepared. At the same time, Chinese and Western hot dishes, breads, congees, cold cuts, and braised meats were all available, catering to different tastes. The view from the breakfast restaurant was a particular highlight. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see a serene courtyard: a neatly trimmed lawn, a rock garden pond, and even white geese leisurely strolling about. The garden scenery was elegant and comfortable. Enjoying breakfast while taking in the view really helped me slow down and relax. The guest room was clean and spacious, with a well-organized layout and good natural light, making for a relaxed and unconfined stay. The overall service was on point, and the breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for accommodation in Beijing.

Staying at the Park Hyatt Beijing during the National Day holiday was a wonderful experience, largely thanks to the attentive service from Butler Xiaofanqie. Even with the busy holiday crowds, the service remained meticulous and thorough. They proactively communicated our needs before check-in, demonstrating thoughtful and well-measured care. This significantly enhanced our National Day trip.

Before booking, I read the negative reviews, which were mostly complaints about the service. After staying, I felt like this hotel was one giant obedience test. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong smell from the air conditioning ducts. I picked up the phone and dialed 'one touch.' The operator transferred me to the front desk, who said they would get back to me shortly. 'Shortly' meant I had to call again to get any kind of answer. After changing rooms, the next day my room card stopped working. That's when I understood why there was a phone in the hallway. After calling, they said an auntie would come to help open the door. Ten minutes later, the auntie finally arrived. After opening the door, she said a concierge would bring a new room card later. Well, it never arrived within two hours. Eventually, when I went to pick up my takeout, I had to go to the front desk myself to get a new one. The tissues in the room ran out. The auntie replaced them with new ones, but just left the new pack on top of the tissue box instead of putting them inside. I don't understand that. There was a short black hair in the bathtub... The mini-bar was completely empty on the first night, possibly due to the room change. At breakfast, I opened a Chinese steamed dim sum, and there was a black hair inside... Breakfast ended at 10:30 AM, and many guests came at 10:35 AM to get coffee, but it was all gone...

We chose Beijing for our high school graduation trip, and stayed at this hotel for five nights out of our six-day journey. Since it was before the peak summer season, the price was quite reasonable, and the overall experience was very smooth! The hotel's hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. I didn't experience any skin discomfort during our five-night stay (though this can vary for different people). The robot delivery for takeout was prompt and convenient; no need to go downstairs. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. It wasn't just generic pre-made food; the dishes were fresh. We stayed in a twin room. The room had good natural light, and the window size was appropriate. Some rooms seemed to face office buildings, while others faced the road, but overall it was quiet. The air conditioning made a slight noise, but it didn't significantly affect our sleep. The laundry room on the second floor was well-equipped with washing, drying, and steam ironing facilities. You could do it yourself or leave your laundry card for staff to assist. Also, we requested room cleaning every day after we left. Coming back in the evening to a tidy room was a pleasant feeling, and they never moved our luggage around. Issues were resolved promptly. One evening, our key card wouldn't open the door, and someone came upstairs to fix it very quickly. Additionally, opposite the front desk on the first floor, there's a coffee machine, ice dispenser, small fridge, and lemon water, all with disposable cups provided – very convenient. There are many shopping malls near the hotel. Across the street is a 24-hour Lawson convenience store. A bit further is a mall called 'Saite +' (赛特+), which isn't huge but has everything you need, making it quite practical for daily life. If you don't want to go too far but want to eat at a restaurant, you can check the food establishments on the map in advance. The subway is about 600 meters away, I think? There's a shared bike parking spot right downstairs, so you can cycle if you don't want to walk. Plus, the subway is Line 1, which makes it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Mixue Bingcheng (蜜雪冰城) nearby~ For taxis, the pick-up point is directly at the hotel entrance, so it's easy to find.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, offering incredible value for families traveling with children! First off, the location is superb! In Beijing, taking the subway is by far the most convenient way to get around. To visit Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, or the National Museum, you just need to exit the hotel, walk two minutes to Yong'anli Station on Line 1, and it's only four stops away. Even to the Military Museum, it's a direct ride of eight or nine stops from Yong'anli. For a trip to the Great Wall with kids, you can easily transfer from Yong'anli Station to take bus 877 – truly super convenient! Second, the lovely lady at the front desk gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Our king-sized bed room on the 4th floor was very comfortable, and staying for five nights, we grew more accustomed to it (the room is a little dated, unlike newer hotels, but it was perfectly acceptable!). Third, there was another wonderful lady from housekeeping who, after a tiny minor issue, upgraded my child and me to breakfast, which really showed the thoughtfulness and sincerity of Jianguo Hotel! Lastly, the lunch and dinner buffets at the hotel's first-floor restaurant are perfect for us – after a long day of exploring, we just don't want to go out again. My child absolutely loved the hot pot buffet package we got! The best part is not having to leave the hotel or order takeout; we could just leisurely sit down, eat, and drink without rushing or feeling pressured to check off a list. Oh, and also, we happened to encounter a lovely lady from the restaurant giving out Qixi Festival soap flower samples 🌺 – my child and I each got one and were absolutely delighted! Jianguo, we'll be back for sure! 😊

My family and I chose Jen Hotel for a quick getaway during the November holiday. This is one of the most value-for-money hotels I've ever stayed in. This time, I booked a room with executive lounge access, which included breakfast, in-room breakfast delivery, and a two-person dinner at Sanwu Tang in the evening. We had a smooth check-in around 5 PM. The front desk staff asked us which direction we preferred for our room, and we chose one facing the 'Big Trousers' building (CCTV Headquarters). During check-in, the front desk also helped us book a dinner reservation at Sanwu Tang. After dropping off our luggage, we headed straight for dinner. Sanwu Tang is a buffet restaurant specializing in Beijing cuisine, offering a complete selection of local delicacies like 'baodu' (tripe), 'luzhu' (stewed offal), 'chaogan' (stir-fried liver), 'douzhi' (fermented mung bean juice), 'zhajiangmian' (fried sauce noodles), and roast duck. Of course, they also have international dishes like beef, lamb chops, and salmon sashimi. If you're a first-time visitor to Beijing and don't want to wander around the streets, you can try all these dishes in one place. Wang Yajuan, a server at the restaurant, thoughtfully explained the food stations and brought us the exclusive drinks menu for executive lounge guests, which we greatly appreciated. (Regular paying guests also have drinks, but the variety is much smaller than for executive lounge guests). This drink menu included four types of craft beer and Evian sparkling water, which instantly made the value for money skyrocket. Plus, the restaurant was filled with Beijing cultural elements, making for a very comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast on the second day was also in the style of Beijing snacks, which I loved, so I won't go into detail. By the way, the online reviews for Sanwu Tang aren't very high, but I think those low-score reviews are unfair. Because Sanwu Tang's main focus is Beijing flavors, both the style and the food are authentic Beijing local dishes. Objectively speaking, some dishes might not be well-received by non-locals, leading to low scores. But if you like these flavors, trust me, go for it with your eyes closed – you definitely won't be disappointed. I also want to mention the gym; it's the largest I've seen in any hotel I've stayed at, with the widest variety of equipment. No luxury hotel in China can compare. The staff also maintained the high service standards of a premium hotel. In summary, this is a hotel with exceptional value for money. It's located in Beijing's Guomao area, and both the service and hardware facilities are outstanding. Highly recommended! 👍

Beijing in autumn is picturesque everywhere you look. Although this booking was a last-minute decision, it turned out to be a delightful surprise. First, the location is superb, with Guomao Mall right downstairs, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel's service itself is excellent. While the lobby is on the 64th floor for check-in, there's a very enthusiastic concierge service on the ground floor. Check-in was also very smooth. The highlight is undoubtedly the food. Although the breakfast selection isn't vast, every single item is a winner. The avocado croissant and Eggs Benedict we ordered were delicious. The freshly made mini wontons were also very flavorful. The all-day tea service and evening happy hour on the 64th floor are definitely something to look forward to. We even witnessed the most beautiful sunset just before National Day.

Super 8 Guomao Sihui Branch boasts a prime location with convenient access to transportation and shopping. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and attentive, and check-in and check-out were quick. There are many dining options nearby, offering great value for money. Very satisfied!

This hotel was a real gem I discovered on my recent trip, almost perfect! The price for this location, coupled with such stylish decor, is an unbelievable combination. It has all the amenities and advantages of a great hotel, except for a swimming pool. The design is chic, the service is excellent, and the location is wonderful. The small river next door seems to be undergoing embankment beautification, and I imagine it will soon become as relaxing and pleasant as the Canal Saint-Martin in Paris. The only downside is that the room's smell desperately needs improvement; a sour, stale odor hit me as soon as I walked in. I'm not sure if it's the carpet, but I suggest they address it or add diffusers/fragrances. Other than that, it's a perfect hotel. I'll try a different room next time.

My stay here exceeded expectations. The hotel environment is simple yet grand, and the public areas are clean and tidy. The guest rooms have good lighting, and all sorts of amenities are well-stocked, with good quality toiletries. The staff are professional and polite, responding promptly to requests. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Overall, the service was attentive and warm; I was satisfied in every aspect and would highly recommend coming here to experience it.
