Hotels in Guomao Area, Beijing

The environment is beautiful, although the swimming pool is a bit small. But it wasn't crowded, which was nice. The room was also very new, and the kids loved it. The bed was large, a 2.2m bed, and very comfortable to sleep in. It rained at night so we didn't go out and instead had the seafood buffet. We even got to scoop our own seafood, which the kids found fun and unique. For the seafood buffet, my child even said that the chocolate and ice cream cake, which came out last around 8 PM, were the best things they ate. The concierge was very thoughtful, helping to receive a delivery, even unpacking it and bringing it up, and also helping with luggage. Getting a taxi to Wangfujing took only 15 minutes, which was very convenient.

Park Hyatt Beijing, located in the heart of the Guomao CBD, is an excellent choice for a luxurious urban experience. The high-floor rooms offer outstanding views, and with the right orientation, you can directly face the China Zun building and take in the entire CBD skyline. The bathtub by the window creates a wonderfully atmospheric viewing experience. Even if you book a standard room, Ctrip Black Diamond members can enjoy exclusive butler service, which is prompt and attentive. The hotel boasts extensive facilities, with a sky lobby, a gym with panoramic views, and a heated indoor pool all offering stunning city vistas. The Beijing Grill restaurant on the 66th floor and the sky bar allow you to enjoy a bustling night view while dining. The cuisine caters to both international tastes and local Beijing specialties, with discreet and refined service. The hardware quality is excellent, making it very suitable for business trips and city getaways.

This hotel offers pretty good value for money, with an excellent location and affordable prices. While the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. However, the customer service and the female front desk staff were quite subpar. They were unwilling to offer room upgrades or late check-outs, which was disappointing. I hope they improve, as it would be a shame to waste such a great location and the efforts of most of the other staff members.

We chose Beijing for our high school graduation trip, and stayed at this hotel for five nights out of our six-day journey. Since it was before the peak summer season, the price was quite reasonable, and the overall experience was very smooth! The hotel's hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. I didn't experience any skin discomfort during our five-night stay (though this can vary for different people). The robot delivery for takeout was prompt and convenient; no need to go downstairs. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. It wasn't just generic pre-made food; the dishes were fresh. We stayed in a twin room. The room had good natural light, and the window size was appropriate. Some rooms seemed to face office buildings, while others faced the road, but overall it was quiet. The air conditioning made a slight noise, but it didn't significantly affect our sleep. The laundry room on the second floor was well-equipped with washing, drying, and steam ironing facilities. You could do it yourself or leave your laundry card for staff to assist. Also, we requested room cleaning every day after we left. Coming back in the evening to a tidy room was a pleasant feeling, and they never moved our luggage around. Issues were resolved promptly. One evening, our key card wouldn't open the door, and someone came upstairs to fix it very quickly. Additionally, opposite the front desk on the first floor, there's a coffee machine, ice dispenser, small fridge, and lemon water, all with disposable cups provided – very convenient. There are many shopping malls near the hotel. Across the street is a 24-hour Lawson convenience store. A bit further is a mall called 'Saite +' (赛特+), which isn't huge but has everything you need, making it quite practical for daily life. If you don't want to go too far but want to eat at a restaurant, you can check the food establishments on the map in advance. The subway is about 600 meters away, I think? There's a shared bike parking spot right downstairs, so you can cycle if you don't want to walk. Plus, the subway is Line 1, which makes it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Mixue Bingcheng (蜜雪冰城) nearby~ For taxis, the pick-up point is directly at the hotel entrance, so it's easy to find.

The glass atrium is fantastic during the day (though the lighting design at night needs improvement)! 33 years have only added rings to the trees and vines. As a junior in university (1993), I came to Beijing for an internship to learn about hotel architecture, visiting nearly 20 high-end, foreign-friendly hotels that represented China's opening to the world... This Beijing Jianguo Hotel left a deep impression. According to architectural history, it was built by an overseas Chinese American, designed like a motel. Perhaps that's why it stands out uniquely on Chang'an Avenue. Wishing them continued success!

Had a wonderful stay at JEN Beijing by Shangri La! We were here for leisure. A big thank you especially to Paul Lee from the Concierge team. He was already helping me even before I arrived in Beijing and continued to take really good care of us during our stay. He also helped to arrange a birthday cake, which was such a nice touch and made the celebration even more special. Really appreciate how responsive and helpful he was whenever we needed anything. We also absolutely loved our room! The view was amazing, directly facing the CCTV Headquarters towers. It was exactly the view I was hoping for and honestly even nicer in person. Location was convenient, room was comfortable and clean, and the whole Concierge team was friendly and helpful. But Paul really made the stay extra memorable for us. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and not just doing his job. Thank you Paul and the JEN Beijing team for taking such good care of us. We had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely choose JEN again when we are back in Beijing! ❤️

Terrible experience! 1. Abysmal Service and Customer Humiliation On August 29, 2026, I was staying at the hotel with my two-month-old baby. Feeling unwell due to a cold, I requested to extend my stay at the front desk. Instead of assisting, the front desk staff refused, citing that the twin room was 'reserved by a group.' They then chastised me, asking 'why didn't you extend your stay earlier?' and proceeded to 'teach' me how to book a hotel. Their tone was full of sarcasm and superiority, making me feel humiliated. As a postpartum mother, this attitude went beyond professional boundaries. 2. Lack of Basic Human Care Even though they knew I had a baby and I proactively asked for a mask, the hotel not only failed to provide any assistance but also took a crude 'either change rooms or check out' approach regarding the extension, completely disregarding the critical need for a stable environment for a baby and a new mother. 3. Booking System Lacks Emergency Mechanisms The hotel was fully aware that I was traveling with a baby and large baby items, yet they demanded I vacate the room without any prior warning. This clearly exposed their lack of contingency plans for long-term guests and those with special needs.

Super 8 Guomao Sihui Branch boasts a prime location with convenient access to transportation and shopping. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and attentive, and check-in and check-out were quick. There are many dining options nearby, offering great value for money. Very satisfied!

The room was really tiny. After checking in, I specifically asked the staff and was told that the room I booked was already the largest type the hotel offered. Even so, there wasn't even a chair or a small stool in the room, so there was basically no proper place to sit and relax or work. If I needed to use my computer, I had to go to the lobby on the first floor, but in the evenings, the lobby often had many guests eating takeout, making the environment quite noisy and not suitable for work. If you're particular about your sleeping environment, I highly recommend bringing your own earplugs and eye mask. Even with the curtains fully drawn, there were still noticeable gaps, so the blackout effect at night and in the morning was mediocre. The hotel is also located at a T-junction, so external vehicle and environmental noise was still audible. It's a shame the hotel didn't provide disposable earplugs or eye masks in the room to compensate for these issues. The mattress and overall hardware quality were also quite ordinary. From my experience, it felt like a 2-star hotel setup with not much comfort to speak of. This hotel is better suited for solo travelers with minimal luggage who only need a short stay. If you're traveling with large luggage, staying with two or more people, or need to work or spend extended time in the room, I personally wouldn't recommend it. The cramped feeling due to the room size is a significant drawback that even good service can't really make up for.

This hotel, particularly Leah, left a great impression. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. They also thoughtfully reminded me of important details regarding my stay. The room was very clean, odor-free, with good lighting and ventilation. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a good rest. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, and the environment was quiet. The location is superb, making it easy to get around. When I encountered a minor issue, they responded promptly. It offers great value for money, and my overall stay was very satisfying. I genuinely recommend it to everyone.
