Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel is new, very clean, and in an excellent location. The laundry service was outstanding, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. However, I had one very disappointing experience. During my stay, the police visited the hotel and asked about the purpose of our visit, and we fully cooperated. Later that night, around 11:00 PM, they came back again while my children were asleep, only to ask for my phone number. This frightened my children and caused unnecessary stress. I have traveled extensively in China and had already spent several weeks in Beijing and Shanghai without experiencing anything like this, so this was very surprising and upsetting. To be fair, the hotel staff sincerely apologized and explained that this situation was beyond their control and related to the local authorities. As a thoughtful gesture, they also offered us a gift and a complimentary late check-out, which we really appreciated. Despite this unfortunate incident, the hotel itself is excellent—clean, modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would still recommend staying here. Thank you 💜

My overall experience at this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The lobby is clean and elegant, and the room hygiene was top-notch. The room itself was spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was very good. It offered great rest and excellent value for money.

The location is fantastic! I chose this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be. The front desk staff, Elena, was incredibly kind and professional. When I opened the door to my room, I was instantly amazed – the entire place was spotlessly clean, with no dust even in the corners. The bedding was fluffy and soft, and lying down on it immediately melted away my travel fatigue. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any hallway noise at all, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The superb location means you can walk to shopping districts and attractions, making getting around a breeze. The cleaning staff were meticulous daily and were always on hand if I needed anything, making me feel completely at home throughout my stay. I highly recommend this to anyone traveling!

The room layout is well-designed and cozy, and the staff are incredibly nice. The hotel is super convenient for getting to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum by subway; it's only about a three-minute walk to the nearest station. This is my third time in Beijing, and I just realized that the subway is by far the easiest way to reach Tiananmen Square and the National Museum. Don't be fooled into thinking Didi (ride-hailing) is convenient for these spots! Taking a Didi to the National Museum or Tiananmen Square is a terrible idea. Drivers can't drop you off directly at these attractions and will leave you a mile or two away. I ended up walking with my kid for 20 minutes in the scorching heat, sweating buckets, just trying to navigate there. Meanwhile, there's a subway station right next to the National Museum... it's incredibly convenient!

Review from a non-chinese tourist. Pros: location, low to almost none level of noise, cleanliness. Cons: no one can assist you in english, breakfast (if you’re not chinese or adapted to local food). It’s right next to Beijing West Railway station, so multiple malls, shops, cafes etc available. When I was checking in I was given key to a wrong room - someone else was already staying there. I understand mistakes happen but after 20 hrs of travel it’s hard. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast: it said that it’s buffet with chinese and western food. In reality almost no food that you would normally eat for breakfast, lots of chinese food (I wouldn’t have problem with it if it wasn’t so greasy - it’s just not the best for starting your day). Overall - good for the price and location.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety. The staff were all very warm, thoughtful, and attentive. I accidentally left some clothes in my room, and when I called the hotel, the front desk attendant proactively helped me arrange a courier service. I'm very grateful for their assistance!

I'm a traveler from Xinjiang. After a long flight to Beijing, I was looking forward to checking into the hotel for a good rest, as I needed to go to the Children's Hospital near the hotel the next day. However, during check-in, I realized my child's birth certificate was missing – I suspected I'd left it in the taxi. I instantly panicked. The hotel staff, Xin Yi, immediately noticed my distress. She quickly came over to calm me down and promptly helped me retrieve information and contact Didi customer service. The communication process was quite difficult, but she patiently and repeatedly verified details like the time of the ride, location, and car appearance. She continuously followed up, and finally managed to contact the driver, who confirmed the birth certificate was in the car and would be returned. While I was waiting, she kept gently reassuring me and offered me hot tea. I was incredibly touched when I got my child's certificate back. During my stay, Xin Yi thoughtfully prepared directions to Beijing Children's Hospital and recommended local specialty snacks. The laundry room attendant also proactively helped me dry my clothes, folded them neatly, and delivered them back to my room. There were many other thoughtful small touches. When I checked out, Xin Yi even gave me a Tiananmen Square magnet as a souvenir. Atour S Beijing, for me, is more than just a place to stay; it's a tangible feeling of warmth and reassurance in an unfamiliar city. Thank you, Xin Yi, and thank you to all the hotel staff.

I wanted to experience a *hutong* (traditional alleyway) and chose this place based on its 5-star reviews. The location is incredibly convenient, offering a quiet escape in a bustling, prime area. The decor is unique, and they've managed to create a charming, deep courtyard within a small space – truly thoughtful design that deserves praise. Part of the hotel was still under renovation. I saw photos of a rooftop terrace in other reviews, but when I went up, there was nothing there yet. The internet surprisingly went out until late at night on the day we checked in. The reason given was ”a problem with the main line in the hutong,” which I assume was an isolated incident – perhaps just part of our hutong experience. They provide six bottles of water and two soft drinks for free in the room, and the Arctic Ocean soda was delicious, so kudos for that! However, there were no tea bags or coffee sachets. The tea was loose-leaf in a small, pretty jar, but for something you consume, I did wonder about the hygiene. Here are some suggestions: 1. Indicate which rooms have softer mattresses and which have firmer ones, offering guests a choice. Not everyone likes a soft bed, and comfort in sleep is more important than a unique or beautiful room design. 2. Since all the power outlets are flat-pin (two-prong) only, I recommend providing adapters or power strips with round-pin (two-pin) sockets. It's really inconvenient otherwise. Coming back at night and realizing you can't charge your devices – do you really expect guests to order their own adapters or power strips for same-day delivery? Beijing is an international metropolis, and people come from all over the world, so providing a few would be much more convenient.

The rooms are few, the courtyard isn't big, and the room itself is tiny. The courtyard view is nothing special, and the second-floor terrace doesn't offer any appealing scenery. The alley it's located in is also quite ordinary, and getting a car in or out is very difficult. It really just feels like a guesthouse in a hutong. There was only one staff member at the front desk who often seemed overwhelmed. I added them on WeChat beforehand, but their responses to my questions were unenthusiastic and lacked much useful information. It was clear they were new and inexperienced. The breakfast variety was sufficient, but a staff member was playing videos loudly on their phone right next to us, which was quite noisy. Unless you have a strong desire to experience a siheyuan or are particularly fond of hutongs, I'd recommend choosing a larger, properly managed hotel with more professional staff. One experience here was enough.

I didn't realize I booked a windowless room when I made the reservation. The front desk lady upgraded me for free to a better room type. The room was clean and comfortable, which was great. The only thing is there were no toiletries or shower amenities, just a bar of soap in the whole bathroom, haha! Good thing I brought my own! (The Wi-Fi wasn't very strong though.)

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed with the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. The location is very convenient, especially if you plan to visit Trainman Square and Beihai Park, which are both nearby. While the room was a bit smaller than expected for the price, it makes sense given that I visited during national holidays. However, there are only one or two small food points near the hotel, so you’ll either need to rely on online food delivery or take a taxi to find better dining options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it for those looking for a clean and well-located hotel.

I traveled to Beijing with the elderly and children. The Beijing Butterfly Spring Hotel I stayed at was very close to Exit D of Lingjing Hutong Station on Line 4. I walked on a small road and passed the police station on the way. The surrounding environment was full of security; although the hotel did not have an elevator. , but helped us deliver our luggage to the door of the room. Thank you very much to the lady at the front desk and the waiter 🌹; 2 bottles of Wahaha purified water are provided for free every day. The room is cleaned and organized every day, and the toilet paper is replenished every day. Thank you to the cleaning aunt 🌹 . The room is spacious and comfortable, and the price-performance ratio is very good. It is worth staying again!

Reasonably good location. Walk to subway not too far, with many shops and eateries around location. The hotel was an old building, but rooms were reasonably clean and comfortable. Staff and service was good and they upgraded our room.

The location is absolutely quiet in a busy city. The room is spacious and clean, and it is very quiet at night. Although the breakfast buffet is not very rich, it tastes good. The Northwest specialty dishes in the restaurant are worth trying. There is also a gym on the seventh floor where you can check in and exercise.

The hotel is very cost-effective, clean and sanitary, very close to the subway station, very convenient for travel; there is a supermarket downstairs, very convenient for shopping; 500 meters away from the West Campus of Union Hospital, it is the best choice for accommodation in Beijing.

To be honest, the room is actually quite good. It has a veteran style, is big enough, unpretentious, has ample lighting, and is square and square. The layout of the room is also elegant. The location is very good, quiet in the bustle, and there is a small garden. It's also quite unique, and the hygiene is good. But why can't we give high scores? It's still the human factor. The front desk service is still the same as that of the old state-owned hotel. They all sit facing south and don't take the needs of the guests into consideration. I don't care what you think. That's how I set the rules anyway. It's not that the attitude is bad. , but even if we don’t have that kind of awareness, we probably don’t need to have it. We are still far from the road to market competition.

Super 8 Youxuan Hotel (Beijing Fuwai Hospital)

First off, the hotel's location is fantastic – right by the subway exit and super easy to find. Both check-in and check-out were a breeze. Secondly, and seriously, 'you don't know what you're missing until you compare!' Even though it's a bit of a walk from Fuwai Hospital, the room facilities and conditions here are miles better than any of the hotels right next to Fuwai. (My mom needed surgery, so we had to be close to the hospital. For the two days of her surgery, we stayed at another hotel directly opposite the hospital – and oh my, that experience truly showed me what 'no comparison, no harm' means! Coming back to *this* hotel after her surgery felt like pure heaven. I used to think the room was on the smaller side, but after that, it felt so incredibly cozy and welcoming. We also arrived in Beijing during a cold snap, and this hotel was wonderfully warm, with comfortable and spotlessly clean bedding.) I really can't stress enough: 'no comparison, no harm!' The value for money here is simply unbeatable. Finally, there are plenty of supermarkets and places to eat nearby. The local supermarkets offer very reasonable prices. In stark contrast, the supermarket directly across from Fuwai Hospital was not only overpriced but even sold counterfeit sanitary products!
