Hotels in Xidan and Financial Street Area, Beijing

The hotel's location is incredibly central. Not only is it in Xidan and close to the subway, but it's also seamlessly connected to Joy City, with a direct access door from the mall to the hotel. The service was excellent. While I was still on the high-speed train, Xuanxuan from the front desk contacted me to confirm all my room preferences. After checking in, I realized my phone was missing. I was frantic and went back to the front desk to find Xuanxuan, who helped me check the surveillance footage, which really put my mind at ease. The concierge lent us a large umbrella, and we walked to Gangwashi to catch the 109 bus to Jingshan Park. We passed Beihai Park, and the scenery there was stunning. On the way back, we took the 109 bus again to Xidan Shopping Mall, which conveniently stops right in front of Joy City. I truly thought, 'This location is just perfect!' The smooth transition from entering the mall to getting back to our room helped relieve a lot of our fatigue. 😎

I stayed here alone and even though it was late, the front desk staff helped me check in warmly. Facilities: Everything was well-equipped. Hygiene: Clean. Someone tidied up every day. Environment: Pretty good. The location is great too, with a bus stop nearby and even a pharmacy, which is very convenient. Service: Warm.

My overall stay was a delightful surprise! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The hotel's ambiance is elegant and clean, with a simple yet stylish decor that creates a wonderful atmosphere. My room was tidy and bright, well-laid out, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and polite, always responding promptly and thoughtfully. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious local dishes, and the facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. It offers incredible value for money, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers. Highly recommended!

I'm a traveler from Xinjiang. After a long flight to Beijing, I was looking forward to checking into the hotel for a good rest, as I needed to go to the Children's Hospital near the hotel the next day. However, during check-in, I realized my child's birth certificate was missing – I suspected I'd left it in the taxi. I instantly panicked. The hotel staff, Xin Yi, immediately noticed my distress. She quickly came over to calm me down and promptly helped me retrieve information and contact Didi customer service. The communication process was quite difficult, but she patiently and repeatedly verified details like the time of the ride, location, and car appearance. She continuously followed up, and finally managed to contact the driver, who confirmed the birth certificate was in the car and would be returned. While I was waiting, she kept gently reassuring me and offered me hot tea. I was incredibly touched when I got my child's certificate back. During my stay, Xin Yi thoughtfully prepared directions to Beijing Children's Hospital and recommended local specialty snacks. The laundry room attendant also proactively helped me dry my clothes, folded them neatly, and delivered them back to my room. There were many other thoughtful small touches. When I checked out, Xin Yi even gave me a Tiananmen Square magnet as a souvenir. Atour S Beijing, for me, is more than just a place to stay; it's a tangible feeling of warmth and reassurance in an unfamiliar city. Thank you, Xin Yi, and thank you to all the hotel staff.

It's been a long time since I've been to Beijing, and I'd almost forgotten the city's layout. Choosing Xidan, especially staying at the Pan Pacific Hotel, was an absolutely brilliant decision. The location is superb, with excellent transportation links to everywhere. It's less than a ten-minute drive to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, and there are several shopping malls nearby to cover all your daily needs. From the moment I checked in, the hotel's service was consistently outstanding. Throughout my stay, no matter how many times I came and went, a staff member would always promptly open and close the car door and greet me warmly. All my requests during the stay were also fulfilled immediately, a level of excellence that even many hotels in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region don't quite match. My stay coincided with the Dragon Boat Festival, and on that day, every room received hot Zongzi, which was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. A big thank you to all the Pan Pacific Hotel staff and Cindy at the front desk for their enthusiastic hospitality. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Beijing!

Everything was great – the location, facilities, and service were all top-notch. However, I do have a few suggestions. The bottles for the shower gel and hand soap were really difficult to use. I stayed for five nights, and only on the last night did I realize that the window wasn't closed. It hadn't been closed since I checked in! This was a hallway-facing window, shouldn't it have been closed before I arrived? It's like the door was locked for five days, but it wasn't really secure anyway. The window in the photo is after I pulled it closed; before that, the glass pane was on the other side, and there was a screen on one side. I didn't really notice the screen and just pulled the curtains, never looking at it again. I didn't get to pet the cats, but they were at the window to see me off on the day I left – so cute! 🥰 The hotel is excellent, and I would definitely stay again if I have the chance.

Chose this hotel for a family trip, and the overall experience was incredibly satisfying! The front desk staff were warm and friendly, check-in was simple and quick, and they patiently answered any questions we had – truly attentive service. The hotel's location is a huge plus, making it super convenient for walking around and sightseeing with seniors and children. The room hygiene was top-notch; the entire space was clean with no strange odors, very spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. All facilities like the air conditioning, bathroom, and charging ports were complete and in perfect working order. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; even though it faced the street, we couldn't hear any noise, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, allowing our family to rest peacefully. There wasn't a single frustrating moment during our stay; the service, environment, and facilities were all excellent. An absolutely fantastic overall experience, highly recommended for family travel!

Review from a non-chinese tourist. Pros: location, low to almost none level of noise, cleanliness. Cons: no one can assist you in english, breakfast (if you’re not chinese or adapted to local food). It’s right next to Beijing West Railway station, so multiple malls, shops, cafes etc available. When I was checking in I was given key to a wrong room - someone else was already staying there. I understand mistakes happen but after 20 hrs of travel it’s hard. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast: it said that it’s buffet with chinese and western food. In reality almost no food that you would normally eat for breakfast, lots of chinese food (I wouldn’t have problem with it if it wasn’t so greasy - it’s just not the best for starting your day). Overall - good for the price and location.

It was my dad's birthday during our stay, and the staff thoughtfully prepared a cake for him, which alone earns them a big thumbs up! 🥰👍 The hotel's dry cleaning service was also excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. The location is superb, within walking distance to Xidan (Hanguang Department Store and Freshippo) and Xuanwumen Station. There was a minor incident on the first morning: I saw a creamy scrambled egg at the omelet station (pictured) and asked the staff there to make it for me, but she replied, ”What creamy scrambled egg? I only have regular scrambled eggs.” 😅 Also, I'm not sure why there were so many cabinets in the room that we didn't use at all; it felt like a lot of wasted space. It would be better if they could streamline that. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Beijing!

The hotel's service was excellent. The front desk staff were very polite, and the auntie serving breakfast was incredibly warm and proactive. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's conveniently located just a few hundred meters from both Xidan and Lingjing Hutong subway stations. Plus, there's a Ziguan Garden yogurt shop right across from the hotel, which is super convenient for grabbing a snack. Highly recommend!
