Aston Review: I highly recommend everyone visiting Batam to stay at Aston! This is my second time in Batam, and my second stay at this hotel! ❤️ This time (August 29-31) was super busy; the hotel was almost fully booked, and some items at the breakfast buffet weren't replenished quickly enough. I hope the hotel can arrange more staff on weekends to ensure faster replenishment and replacement of food at the breakfast buffet, and more efficient cleaning! ✅ The air conditioning is very cold (when you check in and open the room door, the AC is already on and waiting for you!) ✅ The room is clean, tidy, and very spacious. ✅ There's a swimming pool, a huge gym (you can even train for HYROX!), a sauna, and massage services. ✅ Breakfast offers a very wide and rich selection! Many local Indonesian specialties, almost everything you can think of! ✅ International adapters are available for direct charging. ✅ Many TV channels, including CCTV, Phoenix Satellite TV, Celestial Movies, as well as Korean and Japanese channels. ✅ The bed is huge and incredibly comfortable! ✅ There's a refrigerator, a bathtub 🛁, and a safe. ✅ Very thoughtful! Simple anniversary decorations + a cake (we saw it right when we checked in and opened the door ❤️). ✅ Hotel staff help open doors and carry luggage. ✅ The hotel is right next door (to the right), just a 5-minute walk to Pisang Keju Terowongan – very affordable and freshly baked! Overall, I'm still very satisfied with my second stay! The next time I visit Batam, I will definitely consider staying at Aston again! ❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at Mövenpick Bintan – Special Mention to Michelle! This was my first time visiting Bintan and also my first stay at Mövenpick Bintan, and honestly, choosing this resort was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The resort is huge, and since there is so much to explore within the property, they provide buggy services to bring guests around, which is really convenient. As Bintan doesn’t have a huge variety of attractions to explore outside the resort, we specifically wanted somewhere that could keep us entertained for 3 days and Mövenpick definitely delivered. We stayed while the resort is still under soft opening, so naturally there may be a few minor things that are still being fine-tuned. However, what impressed me the most was the service attitude of the entire team. Every staff member we met was professional, friendly and genuinely helpful. They always had a smile, proactively approached guests to check if we needed anything, and even took the time to have small conversations with us. I’m also a hotelier myself, so I can confidently say that the team here is doing a really great job, especially considering they are still in their soft-opening phase. A very special mention to Michelle, who assisted us during check-in. From the very beginning, Michelle was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a smooth and seamless experience throughout our stay. We did encounter a minor room issue during our stay, but she immediately followed up and made sure it was resolved as quickly as possible. What I appreciated even more was that she didn’t just solve the problem and walk away. Throughout our entire stay, she would proactively approach us and check whether everything was okay and whether we were enjoying our stay. That kind of genuine care really makes a difference. Michelle is honestly one of the best hotel staff we have ever encountered, and I truly hope the management recognises her efforts. She is definitely an asset to the resort. The Kids Club is huge, and our kids absolutely loved it! They even have a sleeping room and movie room for the little ones, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The resort also has multiple swimming pools, including the ocean pool, kids’ pool and the pool at the beach club, so there’s always somewhere different to enjoy. I personally loved all the little details around the resort, especially the kids’ amenities. Even the shower amenities provided for children were so thoughtfully prepared. It’s these small touches that really show the resort has put a lot of thought into the family experience. We also absolutely loved the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of choices, including plenty of pastries, desserts and even ice cream! One of my favourite touches was the kids’ corner, where children can actually get their own food. It may seem like a small thing, but it made breakfast more fun for our kids and was definitely a plus point for us as parents. Overall, despite still being in the soft-opening stage, we had a really wonderful 3 day stay at Mövenpick Bintan The combination of the beautiful and spacious resort, family-friendly facilities, thoughtful little details, great food and most importantly the genuinely warm service from the staff made our stay memorable. For our first trip to Bintan, I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better resort. If you’re looking for a place where you can simply stay in the resort, relax, enjoy the facilities and keep the kids entertained for a few days, Mövenpick Bintan is definitely worth considering. And Michelle thank you for taking such good care of us! You truly made our stay extra special. ❤️ We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at Montigo Resorts was nothing short of magical. From the moment my fiancé and I arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury, comfort, and romance. We booked a stunning two-bedroom villa featuring its own private pool, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. The villa was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and offered the perfect sanctuary for a romantic getaway. Having a private pool just steps from our bed allowed us to enjoy quiet, intimate swims at any time of day, completely undisturbed.Inside the villa, the attention to detail was remarkable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and filled with natural light. One of the absolute highlights of the accommodation was the deep, luxurious bathtub. After a long day of exploring and activities, soaking in the tub became our favorite way to unwind and relax together. The housekeeping team deserves immense credit for keeping every corner of our villa pristine throughout our stay, ensuring we never had to worry about a thing.Beyond the beautiful room, our trip was packed with memorable experiences. We are a couple that loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, so we decided to try the ATV riding offered at the resort. It was an absolute blast. Racing through the trails together brought a fantastic rush of adrenaline and added an exciting, adventurous spark to our romantic vacation. The staff guiding the ATV experience were professional, safety-conscious, and made sure we had the best time possible.Of course, no luxury stay is complete without great food, and Montigo Resorts delivered perfectly on that front. Our package included a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, which quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The spread was incredibly generous, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the live cooking stations to the fresh pastries and tropical fruits. Starting our mornings together over a delicious, hearty breakfast with beautiful resort views set the perfect tone for the rest of our day.What made this trip truly amazing was how seamlessly the resort blended high-energy fun with peaceful romance. Whether we were splashing around in our private pool, getting mud-soaked on the ATV tracks, or relaxing in our spotless villa, every moment felt special. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel valued from check-in to check-out. It was the perfect escape for me and my fiancé, allowing us to connect, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy a flawless blend of luxury and adventure. We left Montigo Resorts feeling completely refreshed and deeply in love with the place, and we already cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.

At Nirwana Garden Resort, staff are friendly and genuinely nice. The beach is clean and clear waters that you can see fishes swimming around you… and watch sunset in the sea waters. Its windy and cool in the morning and evening. Food offered at good, esp the lamb shank stew. Also have nice spa - go for the Javanese massage! There are also 3 iguanas kept at the resort. We also went bowling and archery. At night we also went out for fireflies watching and kelong restaurant dinner.

We stayed at The Residence Bintan for 2 nights and booked two different types of rooms for each night. Our second-night stay was at the One-Bedroom Beachfront Villa, which came with an excellent sea view and a private pool. We truly enjoyed our stay. The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. As we had booked two different room types, there would normally have been a three-hour gap between checking out of our first room at 12pm and checking into the second room at 3pm. However, before we checked out of our first room, we received a call from the reception informing us that our second room was already ready. We were therefore able to check in directly without having to wait for another three hours. This thoughtful arrangement made our stay even more enjoyable. On our last day, our ferry was scheduled to depart at 7am, so we had to leave the resort as early as 5am. The Residence Bintan kindly arranged transportation to the ferry terminal and even prepared packed breakfasts for us. We were genuinely touched by their thoughtfulness and hospitality. ❤️ From the warm service and excellent facilities to the beautiful views, The Residence Bintan made our anniversary trip truly memorable. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again! 🌴❤️

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

Overall a great stay with fantastic views and amazing service! The room size was perfectly fine, and the single bed was plenty spacious for one person. The highlight was definitely the view—you can see the ferry terminal right from the window—and the clever mirror design in the room was a wonderful touch that really elevated the space. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, proactively helping with my luggage and opening car doors every time. However The pillow quality was average—it was quite high and firm rather than soft and plush, and leaning against it for a while made my back feel sweaty. The biggest bug for me, though, was the elevator system; there are no clear indicator lights or sound chimes when the elevator arrives, so I ended up missing it quite a few times. Despite these quirks, the view and service made it a very enjoyable stay. I’d also prefer bottled drinking water over the large filtered water dispenser provided, as washing glasses each time was a bit of a hassle.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel is modern, clean, and conveniently located. We especially enjoyed the wide selection at breakfast, with plenty of choices available. The staff at the restaurant were attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making our dining experience even more pleasant. We also loved relaxing at the Infinity Pool, which was a great highlight of our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Oakwood Batam again. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at Grand Eska Hotel & Suites! What stood out for me was its proximity to ESKA Spa & Wellness, convenient location, reasonable price, and most importantly, the friendly and helpful staff. I also really appreciated the flexibility with check-in. Although the room keys could only be collected after 2pm, the hotel was happy to let me check in earlier and leave my bags with the concierge. This meant I could head out and explore Batam without having to worry about my luggage. If there was one area for improvement, it would definitely be the towels. I think the hotel could do with a fresh set of good-quality white towels, as the current ones looked a little old and musty. I was honestly tempted to bring my own when i come back next time! 😅 Other than that, it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay. With new towels, it would have been pretty much perfect! Would definitely consider staying here again, especially for the convenience, value for money and wonderful service. ⭐️
