I highly recommend B48 Dafni. It’s slightly off the center but getting to the Acropolis takes a 20 min ride, which is totally fine. The design is minimalist and the apartment is pristine clean and has almost everything you need (cooking supplies, blow dryer, cleaning kit, even a small safe deposit box). There is a shop nearby and some cafes.
A couple of things worth mentioning: if you think about having romantic breakfasts in the balcony, you won’t because the flat is overlooking a very busy highway crossing the whole city, though the smell, the dust and the occasional car noise. The noise level in the room with window closed is ok and they also give you some earplugs just in case.
Note that there is no washing machine, as I was staying for 10 days I had to discover that the nearest laundromat requires a 20 min ride which makes a whole operation very time consuming.
Also the apartments are really located near one another (like hotel rooms). I had pretty noisy neighbours and there was no salvation to this lol :) earplugs do help.
Apart of all that I had really great time there. The bed is really good, the cleaning staff is very nice and helpful (since there is no reception desk they will be the only ones answering your questions non-digitally).
But it totally worth its price and if you’re looking for something cosy and not too pricy this is a very good solution.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right on the main street, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Syntagma Square metro station. The older gentleman at the front desk initially seemed a bit discriminatory, assigning us a room right next to the elevator which also had an unpleasant odor. After we requested a change, he gave us a balcony room. The hotel features a rooftop bar where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and stunning night views of the Acropolis. Hotel guests also receive a 10% discount there.
I stayed for two nights. The room was very spacious and had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very convenient. I had to leave early on the second day for a tour, so I asked for takeout breakfast, which they kindly prepared for me, which was very helpful. Thank you very much. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a five-minute walk from the station. They also provided adapter plugs!

The front desk staff, especially a young man, provided excellent service with very good English, making communication a breeze. The hotel is incredibly close to the Acropolis, just a 5-minute walk away. For airport transfers, it's about a 15-minute walk to Syntagma Square, where you can catch the X95 bus directly to the airport. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants near the hotel in the direction of Syntagma Square, so you won't have to worry about finding food. The only downside is the adult store downstairs, which is a bit of an eyesore. The rooftop is accessible anytime, and you can enjoy illuminated temple views at night.
Our 2-night stay at this hotel in Athens was satisfying in terms of facilities and cleanliness, even though the location wasn't the best. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've arrived at a truly nice hotel. The view from its balcony makes you feel that you're exactly in Athens as it looks towards its streets. The receptionist was helpful and provided a luggage storage area for us on our check-out day. It met our expectations and I would recommend it, but keep in mind that it's located in the backstreets of Athens. You are likely to encounter homeless people and some sketchy individuals, so just be aware of the surroundings before booking. Thanks!
Amazing property. Very spacious and well
Maintained. Housekeeping was exceptional and was a lovely stay. Really appreciated the private jacuzzi.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and the check in procedure was very seamless.

Friendly staff. The rooms are not sound proof. Unfortunately my room 101 was close to the stairs and lift and it was noisy all the time. The hotel management should consider sound proofing the rooms. It’s a real disturbance.
Breakfast was less than mediocre. Nothing special. Just 4 hot foods - fried eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes. Rest are cold cuts and fruit salads. Can add more hot foods items. Considering the price is 13€ for breakfast the items served does not meeting the expectations.

This is a basic hotel, but the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge selection, but it covered the basics and was enough to fill you up. It's really close to Monastiraki Square and the metro.
However, Monastiraki is a nightlife hub, and it gets really crowded at night with plenty of party-goers. The hotel is right next to a pub, and every night from around 10 PM until 1 AM, there was incredibly loud electronic rock music. We reported it to the front desk, and they did provide earplugs, but for someone who needs energy for sightseeing during the day and a good night's rest, this was a disaster. Next time, I'll definitely choose a quieter area to stay. This place is really only suitable for those who love a lively atmosphere.

Facilities: The room was fully equipped. There was a coffee machine for capsule coffee and a kettle. There was also a small but nice gym.
Cleanliness: The room was cleaned very thoroughly every day, and the housekeeping staff were always friendly and welcoming.
Environment: The location is very convenient. There's a pedestrian street downstairs, so you can find almost anything you need. There are also many restaurants nearby, making dining convenient. It's a five-minute walk to the metro station, with both the M2 and M3 lines, making it very convenient. The M3 line goes directly to the airport. Most attractions are within walking distance, which is very convenient.
Service: Unfortunately, it was raining heavily when I checked in, and the hotel reception was very kind and offered to lend me an umbrella.
Breakfast: The rooftop restaurant had a fantastic view of the Acropolis. The breakfast selection was quite good, and you could order your own coffee and omelette. The honey was even the kind where you could dig out the honeycomb yourself. I also really loved the Greek orange juice.

Great
AAnonymous UserI stayed there in February 2026. It's in a perfect location for visiting the Acropolis.
I knew from reviews that the facilities were a bit old, but it was perfectly acceptable. Above all, the cost performance was excellent.
I also appreciated that slippers were provided.
There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so I had no problems during my stay.
I didn't go to the rooftop bar, but the view looked great.
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.
PPragFirst of all, it is good: there are about 10 rooms on the third floor of an apartment, the location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and the surrounding environment is good. Our room is also very large. The staff is enthusiastic.
Then say bad: because the phone can only receive the door password at 15:00, it is not possible to enter the apartment before, so it is impossible to store your luggage when you check in or leave the store! Be sure to pay attention to this problem. In addition, we were three people staying. Every night, when the third person took a bath, there was no hot water. It was the same for three consecutive days. We stayed for three nights.
Finally, I need to correct the error. The fifth picture is from the official website. In fact, it has nothing to do with this apartment! Before I went, I thought this was the apartment I would stay in.
AAlexandraI traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!
SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.
TTAN1. Love it clean, quiet, quiant, side view of sea and port or small marina (can't tell at night because we checked in late night and left very early the next morning). But lovely. Wish had time to walk. 2. Clean room. 3. When we arrived and saw the dinner buffet which looked good, regretted not getting the half board. But we ordered from their restaurant a la carte menu and it was delicious! 4. One thing to improve is to cover the light on the aircon and the light on the TV, we could find no way to switch off the TV. We are light sleepers so the light which may not disturb others disturbed us a little bit but we put black tape over the TV but could not climb high up to aircon. 5. Too bad we did not have time to use gym or have breakfast there - another regret but front desk Evi helped arrange a breakfast bag for us to take away. If you're checking out early like us, ask for breakfast bags to take away and they gladly oblige. However, food in the breakfast bag is not as nice as having breakfast in the hotel :( I saw none of the items reviewers talked about but I told myself it is ok because they packed before breakfast hours. To get our money's worth, I must eat their breakfast in future.
FFengqiaorenjiaThe room is simple and clean, and the location is super good. There is a subway station and a famous restaurant street. It is across the street from the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. It is very convenient!

- There is a place to keep luggage, I haven't used it but it might be useful.
- Nice views.
- No mold smell. The previous accommodation in Athens had this problem.
- Internet worked fine. Previous accommodation had problems with it.
Disliked:
- AC was moldy inside. When you start it, put some light from your phone to the inside it's all grown in mold. Looks like it wasn't cleaned for a very long time.
- AC is from some cheap no-name brand. It was loud and defected. When you put a desired temperature let's say 21C, it automatically switches it after a moment to a random one between 23 and 25. It was very problematic, thermometer that I had with me was showing 24C in the room during a night. I can not sleep well at such temperature, so decided I to open the window - temperature got lower, but then the sleep was disturbed by nosies coming from outside.
- Online check in process is unnecessarily difficult. I was checking it later to the other place online and the form was much shorter, easier to fill.
- The area isn't nice. I've been staying in two other areas of Athens so far, and both were better.
GGuest UserLocation, location, location! Athena Color Cube apartments are located on the 4th floor and the building is only within a 5-min walk to Monastiraski metro station which has direct service to the airport. There are numerous restaurants nearby and the vicinity is vibrant all the times. There is no receptionist and all communication is done via the chat window. The operator is always prompt to reply to our questions and is very friendly. As to the Climate Resilience Tax which is €8 per night, we ended up handing to the room cleaning lady up on our check-out.
The apartment we stayed (Aqua) is very spacious with a mini kitchen. And most importantly, it's spotlessly clean! I walked with bare feet and didn't feel any dust at all.
Having the convience of a luggage storage room on the same floor, it is definitely an extra perk.
Nevertheless, there are some draw backs:
(1) There isn't any shower cubical door in the toilet so after shower, the floor will be all wet and slippery. We have to wipe it dry after use.
(2) It takes at least 20 mins to heat up the ”water boiler”, and is only good for one person (one 15-20min shower). On the first night, we didn't know we have to press it on again for reheating after the first person has finished using, so the water was very cold when it comes to the second person's turn. On the second night, we knew the trick already and were all good to enjoy hot water throughout.
(3) There are steps from the sofa area to the bed and to the kitchen/toilet. One has to be extra cautious particularly if going to the toilet in the middle of the night is needed.
Overall, we recommend this lovely apartment.
