Pro: The location was great, with short walking distance to subways, Tenjin underground mall, and lots of eateries. Staff speaks relatively good English and was very helpful. Con: Room size was average but manageable with 2 large suitcases. There is no driveway in front of the hotel for cars to unload the luggage. The road in front of the hotel was a narrow 2-way, so we had some difficulty unloading.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oriental Hotel in Fukuoka, and it was truly an experience to remember. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm Japanese hospitality and was quickly checked-in by the friendly staff. The lobby was beautifully decorated. My room was clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a plus for my trip. The bed was comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of both Japanese and Western options. The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a short walk from the train and bus stations, which is full of shopping, and restaurants. My overall experience was fantastic. The Oriental Hotel Fukuoka offers a comfortable stay, excellent service, and a unique blend of tradition and modernity. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka! .

For those who dont mind a 10 min walk to Hakata Station its not bad. Public onsen was a plus for hubby. Too bad we did not use the open air private onsen in our room as weather was too cold for us but the shower massager was also a plus. Room is standard Japanese size which is smaller than International standard. Overall we have no major complaints. Front desk staff put in their best effort to communicate in English. Thumbs UP!

We used the superior room with 4 families. It was a semi double bed x 2 + extra bed x 2, but there was a room size and I didn't feel particularly cramped. The meal was finished outside, so there is no restaurant use. It is a new hotel, so it is a comfortable and clean hotel. The Montreal Group also used in Osaka, but I am satisfied with the overall. Not flashy, but no problem with the minimum service, not more than necessary.

(A friendly reminder: Opt for metered taxis over the airport counters to avoid inflated fares.) Check-in was seamless, and the hotel graciously accommodated our request to store luggage as we explored the city. Their self-service storage option, complete with a secure four-pin lock, provided peace of mind throughout our stay. The hotel boasted comprehensive amenities, surpassing those of the three other accommodations we sampled during our journey. Our room, generously sized, easily accommodated our luggage with ample space to spare. The provided onsen attire was remarkably comfortable, so much so I wore it out under my jacket for the second night! I recommend heading to the onsen in the afternoon and past midnight to avoid the crowd. Post-soak, complimentary popsicles awaited—a delightful treat indeed. Pro tip: ince their onsen is located on the 1st level of the hotel, you can store your onsen items in the locker before heading out to explore. After a long day, you can head to the onsen to ”defrost” and clean up before heading up to sleep. Equipped with a smart TV, our room offered the luxury of streaming our favorite YouTube and Netflix content, adding a touch of familiarity to our evenings. Another standout feature was the live updates on onsen availability and laundry room usage—though it's worth noting that the latter incurs a fee, a minor inconvenience amidst an otherwise stellar stay. This hotel exceeded expectations, providing unparalleled comfort and unparalleled convenience. With all essentials at our doorstep, exploration was effortless, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Fukuoka.

The hotel is in a great location and the selling point is the breakfast. However, I feel that like everywhere else in Japan, the food outside the hotel (which is a lot of options since in Nakasu) are better. So no need to specially choose for their breakfast. their bathtub is huge though.

Good location, just 5 mins from hotel to metro station. Lots of food shops near hotel, especially the self-service drink machine in hotel, you can use it unlimited as you want during open time. I’m surprised the breakfast is so diverse and delicious, lots of food you can choose! I’ll be back definitely! Highly recommended!

Very convenient location; just 3 mins from metro exit 1. Close to Tenjin Taito, GIGO and Round 2 so the kid was happy. Close to some renowned restaurants too. Small room but normal size I guess for Japan.

The location is good as it connected to a sizable shopping mall. The room is decent small but there was very poor sound proof. The musical fountain next to the hotel with loud volume awoke us every 10am in the morning. On the last day of our stay in 7am. The couple next door were having noisy adult exercise… bang bang bang… to the wall between our room was sucks. We heard their yelling and breathing clearly all thru the time. We didnt take any photos from the room…Its really a terrible experience for our stay….n we will not come again..

Spent the first night of my family trip in this hotel in early April. We were well greeted by the staffs of the hotel, check in was quick and the staff would do everything to ensure you feel like home. However, once we entered the room, we were “well greeted” by the odd smell of the room. We turned up the air conditioning and it was a bit better. Later when I had to tie my shoes, the strong smell came again so I suspect the odd smells comes from the room’s mattress. Anyhow, the other furniture of the room was clean in general, despite they look a bit old (especially the bathroom design). Our booking came with breakfast and it was amazing. There are two restaurants to choose from, one being set breakfast and another one being buffet. We chose the buffet, each food taste good with a good variety option, we checked out later with a satisfied tummy! In short, software (hotel staffs and food) of this hotel was enjoyable, but do not have too high expectations on the hardware (mattress, bathroom design).

Location is excellent & convenient. You can easily access to the subway station at B1 especially on a rainy day. Lot of restaurants around the area. Service is good & the front desk staffs are very helpful, can speak fluent English.

Since it is a New Otani brand, I had some expectations, but unfortunately it was crushed. Stayed alone in a twin type with breakfast for business use. The room was large enough and clean and the amenities were substantial. It is undeniable that it is old, but some of the water and closets have been renewed, and the air conditioning was good without any discomfort. However, the bed mattress is cheap, or it is not comfortable to sleep in. I felt that there were more high-quality things that were more particular about the new business hotels in the surrounding area. I was greatly disappointed with that point. The breakfast of Western buffet was very small and I was really disappointed. * The point that you can order the dishes and the taste are generally passing points, but the fact that the variety is too small is surprising and stunned. The staff at the breakfast venue were dull and vacant, but it felt like a flow work. I couldn't feel any dust in the consciousness of carrying the hotel sign on my back. The cleaning staff stopped firmly and greeted each other, but it looked far away and the staff was arrogant and rough and made me feel sick. As for this, I feel that the new business hotels around me are more educated. The front staff 々 seemed busy, but it was crisp and there was no discomfort, but on the other hand, I didn't feel warm. Conclusion, bird, soft, and price are not chosen. I would like to stay again if it is much cheaper, but I am positively pear. Birds cannot be easily improved due to budget problems, but staff education should be as much as possible. When I noticed, I was overtaken by the surrounding competing hotels and the hotels of the rank that were not competing, and such a future is close.

Since extra beds are not available, we paid to upgrade to the family room type, which has two large and two small beds and four beds. There is also a living room space with an unparalleled wide sea view. Absolutely great value. If it weren't for the fact that I couldn't extend my stay, I would really like to stay here again. This should be the Hilton with the highest standards that I have stayed in besides the star hotel in Hollywood.

I have always been a big fan of Grand Hyatt, spent two nights in Grand Hyatt Fukuoka with my family in April 2024. Room assignment was good, met the expectation of our previous requests. Despite the hotel is not new, its timeless design and cleanliness made our stay very enjoyable. Room’s air conditioning was a bit weak but a dyson fan has already been placed inside our room so it was not an issue. Bathtub was unbelievably ergonomic and you can enjoy an amazing hot bath after a long day of shopping. The hotel offers parking at a price but it was reasonable. The hotel is right next to a big shopping mall (with tax return for visitors!) Clothings, sports goods, JUMP shop, gaming centre with lots of claw machines (you can actually win a lot of stuff there), pharmacy, convenient store, you name it. We also had buffet breakfast in the hotel which was filled with a good variety of food and all of the tastes excellent! Would definitely come again if we visit Fukuoka again in the future.

As hotel prices have soared recently, I found a great plan for One Harmony members at a pinpoint. Along with national travel support, it was a price that has not been possible in recent years. The amenities are as substantial as before, with USB chargers and extension cords, and the complementary USB outlets that are commonplace in recent business hotels are also firmly available. Breakfast was a half buffet for a while, but this time the full buffet was revived and a sufficient number of items were prepared. Overall, I felt like I finally returned to front of Corona. Ritz Carlton will open in June, but the real pleasure of Ritz is the club lounge. I'm not saying that, but I would like you to make a club floor if you have the opportunity to renovate next time.

The hotel was the last of our trip and one of the best in Japan! Very elegant and modern, with very large spaces and a spectacular view of the city! It is away from the center but they have a free transfer service, so that does not become a problem. The room is very large and modern. The bed is very comfortable. The spa area is wide and very pleasant. The hotel is a very nice hotel, and the hotel is very nice and very nice. The staff is very friendly and are waiting for all customers to feel like at home!

I've been to Fukuoka multiple times and previously stayed at other establishments that simply cannot match the Ritz. Got a king room for my honeymoon. Really appreciate Sanjay and rest of staff making us feel very appreciated from check-in until departure. The level of attentiveness was impressive, and people here speak good English. Location is quite good, close to metro/bus stops, Ohori park,and plenty of eateries/shopping/yatai's. Room is as modern as you'd expect. Bed and bathroom are very comfortable - other hotels are going to struggle to match this level of sophistication. I really appreciated the amount of space vs the typical Japanese hotel. Great amount of amenities. Minor suggestions for improvement - in-room snacks - we got the impression that several of the snacks were complimentary. After we checked out, we discovered that they were not, an unpleasant surprise. Some better communication here would be valuable. Late check out - as an Elite member at check-in we were told that late check out would be offered. However, on the day of I discovered that I still had to call to ask for late check out, and then I had to wait a bit until they called back to confirm. The small details matter in delivering a flawless experience. Still, these are relatively minor things and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. On our next stay to lovely Fukuoka we'd definitely only stay here. Book it, you won't regret it.

There is also a pool in summer, outdoor cinema at night, fireworks on weekends, and I think it is the best for children and couples. Japanese restaurants are also delicious. It seems that there is nothing in winter, but there is an outdoor sauna, so I think I should open it without paying, and in winter, I would like to make the pool a natural cold bath and advertise it for sale in winter ... There is also a sauna in the large communal bath However, it is a pity that there is no cold bath or well-equipped space. You had everything you need whenever it come to JR hotel, the train station are always packed with foodies and whatever necessities you need like matsumoto kiyoshi. Fell ill this time when i arrived and the helpful staff though can't speak english well, try to help me identify the shop to get med and i greatly appreciate their customer service. Foodies street right below of the hotel, with Shin shin ramen, skewer and kinda a party foodies street. Very convenient but i dont think i will visit kokura so often but i will be back to this hotel if required. Great work!

I went to Kitakyushu for a family trip and stayed at Rihga royal hotel Fukuoka, which is located near Kokura station, the center of Kitakyushu. First of all, the location is very good. It's close to Kokura station and there are shopping centers, downtown, shopping streets, and Kokura castle nearby. Since it's near Kokura station, it's easy to get to other areas nearby, such as Fukuoka and Moji port. The hotel is a large hotel with high floors that are very noticeable in the neighborhood and seems to be the best hotel near Kokura for banquet halls, buffets, etc. It has an overall older feel than the newer hotels these days, but in a good way, it's classic and the rooms are relatively larger than the newer hotels. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, so it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is also doing a good job of maintaining the characteristic Japanese friendliness and attentiveness. The in-room amenities are also good. The hotel breakfast is also excellent for the price. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kitakyushu.

This is pribably the best hotel in mojiko, beautiful rooms and good location. Guests for the better rooms have access to the lounge providing drinks and snacks throughout afternoon and evening. However the premier deluxe room that we booked has a split level between the toilet and the bed areas. This is unsuitable and unsafe for people with handicap and elderly couple like us. We had no choice but to ask for downgrading to a normal room. A great disappointment. However, we have to thank their staff for making an effort to relay our hearing aid which we left in the hotel in Hakata. They made sure that we received the ear piece in Kobe. We are very grateful.

A nice hotel with rustic charm. Bathroom very nice, however the tap may be a little slow due to age. The garden is beautiful and the staff very helpful. It should be noted that the hotel parking should not be used, as much cheeper parking is also available close to the hotel, with the parking rules of the hotel parking being expensive, whilst if you take your car out of the bay you have to pay again. Also as of 2023 they have some pretty amazing Quiche, 4.5*

This time I rented a single room. I opened the door and found that it should be a double room. Because the space is very spacious, there is no feeling of oppression at all. The hotel provides everything it should have I have to mention the hotel breakfast, there are so many choices. ２ The floor is at the front desk and you can issue two room keys with the check-in machine. When I checked in, I found out that it was a low floor on the 3rd floor, so I thought it was a game, but probably because it was New Year's Eve, the outside was relatively quiet and I could hardly hear any noise, and there is a hotel. Difference I couldn't hear any sound. Although it is a double bed, it is large, so I could sleep two people with plenty of room. It includes mineral water service. There is a drip coffee service on the front floor. The restaurant that can be seen from the street seems to be the breakfast venue. This time I stayed in Kitakyushu for a short time with my friends. We mainly went to the outlet to buy things, so we chose this hotel because the hotel is very close to the outlet and has free parking so you can come and go at any time, which is very convenient. The hardware of the hotel is better than expected. I haven't tried the meals, but I am very satisfied with the free welcome meals and food. It feels very good. Crown Palace is an exquisite hotel on the Murasaki River bank, a river that springs from Mt. Fukuchi. One of the hotel’s main feature is its gorgeous terrace restaurant with direct access to the river walk. Riverwalk Kitakyushu is a prestigious shopping centre that includes theatres, restaurants, a multiplex cinema, NHK studios, the head offices of Zenrin Co. and the Asahi Shimbun and a branch of the Kitakyushu City Art Museum. My wife and I stayed 2 times in Crown Palace this year summing about one month. Some rooms have city view but I didn’t try any. I recommend the rooms with a view over the Murasaki river. The railway station is at 10 minutes walking distance. Kokura castle, the district’s main attraction, is just across the riverbank. This was not the first year to stay in Crown Palace, so I could observe the constancy of high quality services. I was mostly impressed by the lunch, not only by the food, its presentation, but also by the way it was served. I knew Crown Palace from few years ago for the French dinners. Unfortunately, during the pandemic, dinner restaurant was closed. I recommend the deluxe double room (see my pictures). Breakfast is very good, don’t miss it. If you stay long, as we did, and wish to try other places to eat, there are plenty of restaurants and cafeterias nearby.

Even if you can't do the room, the space is very large than you think, so you have to stay more than four people. We were two, so we thought we were scared to die when we went to pee at night. Inside, it's clean, except for some dead bugs in the light bulb. For reference, there's Dyson. However, most of the other ryokan have luggage transfer services, but you have to move here directly, and it is expensive for a ryokan where there is no hot spring. Still, the garden view is more beautiful than expected! The photos are also very good. The courtyard here is more beautiful than the Kokura courtyard

Since it supports national travel support, I made a reservation with a 40 ％ draw and it was 11460 yen for 3 nights. We stayed for 1 night on Saturday where it seemed to be pretty busy at this small hotel. The parking was limited but we were lucky to park at the hotel. The hotel’s location was great, closed to train station and shopping arcade. 5 of us could fit in one big spacious room with 3 big beds and 1 extra bed comfortably. The room was a bit old but the beds were comfy. There was a coin laundry in the hotel. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was ok with little variety of food.

One of the best service i ever experienced in my life. We were having difficulty trying out the famous yakitori in this town (FYI, you would need to make reservation in advance which we were not aware of), as such we went to check with the receptionist at the front desk at around 11pm on the last night of our stay. The receptionist was very helpful. She tried her best to assist us to call multiple yakitori shops nearby and recommended us the one just opposite our hotel. We placed our order (for take out orders to our hotel) with the yakitori shop that was recommended by the receptionist but unfortunately, we did not collect our order in full as we did not check our orders collected and realized that we missed out on a few items after collecting the orders to our hotel rooms. To our surprise, our order that was not collected was delivered to our doorstep by the receptionist lady. The service experienced was beyond our expectation. We would like to express our greatest appreciation to the staff that assisted us. Thank you very much! どうもありがとうございます。

30 minutes by rapid train from Hakata. The hotel is located in the corner of the station rotary. It is integrated with the Shinkansen, and there is a high-speed bus to Fukuoka Airport, and it is perfect for the location, but I think it is difficult to understand the entrance of the hotel when it comes by car. Because it is a business hotel, interior and amenities are like this. The air conditioner was replaced with the latest one or we were able to spend comfortably. The shower toilet is complete and the bathtub is no problem. However, the oldness is undeniable. There is also a cafe next to the front desk, but the time between check-out and check-in seems to be closed and the electricity is gone. It's just staying in business, so it's like this in Cospa.

Overall good value for money I think it's a place where locals find a lot for business. You can eat curry at 6-8 in the evening and use a large bath in the morning and evening. However, the bath time is tight (especially in the morning ..) Check-out time is 10 a.m., so it is only available until 8 a.m. The location is close to the station and there is a restaurant alley nearby. I'm sorry I didn't give you bottled water. There's a place where you can use microwaves and ice. You have to pay 200 yen per person because it includes no accommodation tax in Fukuoka.

Highly recommended. Come out of the west exit and cross the road. When you see Little 7, go to the right and follow the road. The hotel is on your left. The public space is very, very clean and very well done. The transportation is convenient and eating is also very convenient ( There are many skewers restaurants) and there is a small park nearby, which is great for walking.

The hotel building itself is old but I think it is compact and comfortable. I had a unique fragrance whether it was a smell eraser or aromatic agent in the room. The unfortunate thing was that there was a Japanese confectionery in Kagoshima Prefecture that was the expiration date 2 days ago in the refrigerator. I thought that the sterilization work was busy due to the influence of the new corona. In addition, there is a free breakfast service, and I think it is good to stay again.

　Our accommodation in Kurume was the east exit of Nishitetsu Kurume Station, Toyoko Inn. As its name suggests, it is located １ minutes walk from the east exit of Nishitetsu Kurume Station. Nishitetsu Kurume station had a front entrance on the west exit side and the east exit felt like a back entrance. Just near the hotel, there was a delicious Yakitori shop and it is a convenient place. The hotel itself is the Toyoko ink quality itself. The facilities and facilities are simple, but the cleaning is also well done, bright and clean. Free breakfast buffet is also simple, but within the allowed range. The Toyoko ink quality with reasonable price and security is good. 　

The building itself is old, but clean and clean. I stayed in a twin room, but it was very large, and the TV and bed were large and comfortable.
