I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oriental Hotel in Fukuoka, and it was truly an experience to remember. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm Japanese hospitality and was quickly checked-in by the friendly staff. The lobby was beautifully decorated. My room was clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a plus for my trip. The bed was comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of both Japanese and Western options. The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a short walk from the train and bus stations, which is full of shopping, and restaurants. My overall experience was fantastic. The Oriental Hotel Fukuoka offers a comfortable stay, excellent service, and a unique blend of tradition and modernity. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka! .

Hakata
Nestled in the heart of Hakata, this hotel offers a haven of convenience within easy reach of delectable dining options, vibrant attractions, and transportation hubs. As a first-time visitor to Fukuoka, I was enamored by the city's charm, and this hotel quickly became a highlight of my trip. From tantalizing late-night eats to leisurely shopping strolls and serene photo spots free from tourist throngs, Fukuoka had it all. Upon arrival, it's essential to note that there are two hotels with the same name; the one we selected, situated in Gion, stands just a few blocks from the Hakata outlet. (A friendly reminder: Opt for metered taxis over the airport counters to avoid inflated fares.) Check-in was seamless, and the hotel graciously accommodated our request to store luggage as we explored the city. Their self-service storage option, complete with a secure four-pin lock, provided peace of mind throughout our stay. The hotel boasted comprehensive amenities, surpassing those of the three other accommodations we sampled during our journey. Our room, generously sized, easily accommodated our luggage with ample space to spare. The provided onsen attire was remarkably comfortable, so much so I wore it out under my jacket for the second night! I recommend heading to the onsen in the afternoon and past midnight to avoid the crowd. Post-soak, complimentary popsicles awaited—a delightful treat indeed. Pro tip: ince their onsen is located on the 1st level of the hotel, you can store your onsen items in the locker before heading out to explore. After a long day, you can head to the onsen to ”defrost” and clean up before heading up to sleep. Equipped with a smart TV, our room offered the luxury of streaming our favorite YouTube and Netflix content, adding a touch of familiarity to our evenings. Another standout feature was the live updates on onsen availability and laundry room usage—though it's worth noting that the latter incurs a fee, a minor inconvenience amidst an otherwise stellar stay. This hotel exceeded expectations, providing unparalleled comfort and unparalleled convenience. With all essentials at our doorstep, exploration was effortless, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Fukuoka.

The location is good as it connected to a sizable shopping mall. The room is decent small but there was very poor sound proof. The musical fountain next to the hotel with loud volume awoke us every 10am in the morning. On the last day of our stay in 7am. The couple next door were having noisy adult exercise… bang bang bang… to the wall between our room was sucks. We heard their yelling and breathing clearly all thru the time. We didnt take any photos from the room…Its really a terrible experience for our stay….n we will not come again..

Room size for a 3 Bedder room is still alright for us. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. If you get to the hotel via Exit 6 from Tenjinminami Station, there is no escalator or lift and takes about 8 minutes from the exit. There is a lift from the station opposite of exit 6 though (near Diamaru) which we used when we left the hotel to go to airport.
Tokyu Stay Fukuoka Tenjin

We reserved 4 residential twin rooms in Tokyo Stay Tenjin from Aug 20th to 24th. As a frequent travellers (5-8 times to Japan annually), originally we had a very pleasant stay (prime location, all rooms are clean and we love the washing+drying machine in each room), until we experienced the life-time worst customer service. I requested for 2 hours late check out extension to 1pm and agreed to pay for additional charges for all rooms (2000 yen per hour per room and I paid 16000 yen in total). We experienced an unexpected long lunch on 24th and I sent a mail (at 12:30pm) via Tokyo Stay site to request for extension to 2pm (instead of 1pm). When we returned hotel at 1:20pm, one of the staff pulled his face, scolded and yelled at my family members loudly in Japanese, and he kept doing that in 3 of our rooms, even yelling at elderly and children of my family. My family members felt humiliated and were very upset. They told me that unpleasant experience, so I looked for that staff at front desk and asked the reason for the yelling and scolding, especially when we paid for all charges for extension. I used google translate in Japanese with speaker and there wasn’t any reply. When I asked for his name, he took off his name tag, ignored my request and said providing his name is against their privacy policy (All other staff were wearing name tags except him). He threatened to report to the police, if I keep asking for his name! Wait, what? So I want to ask: 1: Does the policy of Tokyo Stay allow staff to yell and scold customers when they do late check out? (not to mention we informed and paid for charges already) 2: It’s your policy to report your customers to the police when they ask your staff for their names?

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel that truly exceeded my expectations in terms of convenience, transportation, and facilities. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's strategic location, which made exploring the city a breeze. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the city, surrounded by various amenities such as shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. This prime location allowed me to easily access popular tourist attractions, business districts, and transportation hubs, ensuring that I made the most of my time during my stay. Speaking of transportation, the hotel's proximity to public transportation options was a major plus. Within a short walking distance, I had access to bus stops, and subway stations. This made navigating the city hassle-free and saved me precious time that I could spend on other activities. When it comes to the hotel facilities, they were nothing short of excellent. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a modern and elegant ambiance. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. The rooms were well-designed, and impeccably clean. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided were of high quality. Overall, my experience at this hotel was outstanding. Its convenient location, coupled with easy access to transportation, made exploring the city a breeze. The excellent facilities and the comfortable rooms ensured that my stay was both relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a convenient oasis with top-notch amenities.
Hotel Front Inn Fukuoka Airport
4.3/593 Reviews
I stayed in a hurry because the plane to Okinawa was canceled. The front desk seemed to be a foreign female staff member, but I was asked to explain carefully and check in smoothly. The tragic Japanese was also cute. It was only made in 2020 and has the latest equipment. Despite the single, there is a wall hanging 4K smart TV, and if you have a Netflix account, you can watch movies as much as you want. It may be because there were few guests, but the line speed was stable, and the image quality was high and I could see it without delay. In addition, indoor lighting and TV operation with the built-in tablet were also possible. I didn't use it much. 1F had a large communal bath and a laundry room, so I didn't bring a change of clothes, so I was saved. Due to the influence of Corona, breakfast was not a buffet but a type that I chose in advance at check-in, and I chose curry. It was a little spicy, my eyes were squeezed and it was a refreshing morning. By the way, I'm full with salad and soup. The only disappointment is that it is almost essential to move by taxi because it is on the east side of the airport and across the parking lot and the main street. It's not impossible to walk, but you can't reach it unless you make a very detour compared to a car. It was a very good hotel except for the location. I want to use it again in case of emergency.

I was attracted to the good location of 2 stations from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station by subway airport line and about 2 minutes walk from Hakata Subway Station to the hotel. This time, I wanted to go to Shimonoseki in Ogura and Yamaguchi Prefecture based in Hakata, so it was a comfortable stay. The amenities were the style of taking from the corner in front of the front desk to the room as much as I needed, and I felt that it was a good attempt from the viewpoint of environmental protection. I want to stay again. Thank you very much.
Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Tenjin

Pro: The location was great, with short walking distance to subways, Tenjin underground mall, and lots of eateries. Staff speaks relatively good English and was very helpful. Con: Room size was average but manageable with 2 large suitcases. There is no driveway in front of the hotel for cars to unload the luggage. The road in front of the hotel was a narrow 2-way, so we had some difficulty unloading.
The Millennials Fukuoka

I’m a frequent guest at Millennial Kyoto and couldn’t be more delighted to hear that they open a new hotel in Fukuoka. Millennials Fukuoka is in a strategic location close to restaurants, mini marts, and lots of stuff going on in the Area. It’s sparkling clean and well run. Their staff, especially Faith are extremely helpful. I had a great stay and would love to return when I’m back in Fukuoka.
