This stay at Shangri-La Jinan in an Executive themed room exceeded my expectations! Before checking in, Guest Relations Zhu Mindy proactively reached out and meticulously explained the Executive Club benefits. She clearly outlined the happy hour at the Executive Lounge, the two breakfast venues along with their pros and cons, and their operating hours. Upon arrival, Mindy greeted us and handled the check-in process, making the entire experience effortless. She was professional and attentive. This hotel is perfect for both business and leisure travelers.

My stay was very good. The room was clean and had no strange smells. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. It's also close to the North Railway Station. I'd definitely consider staying at the Qingdao North Railway Station Light Inn on Shengping Road again if I come back to Qingdao! 😄

I specifically chose a high-floor sea-view room for this trip, and it was wonderfully cool. Being able to see the ocean every day was fantastic! The room was clean, the environment was comfortable and cozy, and the staff were warm and attentive. The facilities were also safe and reliable! Highly recommend!

This hotel is perfect for a family vacation with kids! The sea view is absolutely stunning and expansive; you can see the ocean right from your bed, and my child was immediately captivated by it. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, with many pastries, porridges, and fresh fruits suitable for children, which made mealtime much easier for us. Winnie at the front desk was very attentive and responsive to all our needs. The concierge staff were incredibly welcoming; seeing us with a child and lots of luggage, they proactively helped us with our bags, which was very thoughtful. Overall, it's very family-friendly, and our entire stay was relaxed and comfortable, without any fuss. I highly recommend it for both short trips with kids and relaxing seaside getaways; it's definitely a top choice for family travel in this area.

The hotel boasts a grand architectural design and numerous rooms, reflecting the style of an established star-rated hotel. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable musty smell. However, the mattress was very thick and incredibly comfortable to sleep on. We ran out of tissues in the room, but the housekeeper promptly brought some when we requested them. There were no disposable bath liners for the bathtub, and they weren't available for purchase, which is an area where service could definitely be improved. Given its large scale, the hotel could consider offering childcare services similar to Club Med. A kids' play area with soft play structures, slides, and a ball pit would be a great addition, allowing parents to relax. There was no buffet available. With such a large property, inter-departmental communication seems to be an issue. The information provided by the housekeeper for the 1928 Beer Bar's dining options was incorrect. After checking out, the housekeeper asked for a good review. I provided some suggestions, but the housekeeper, 'Dabaitu' (Big White Rabbit), never replied. It feels like the service in northern China is often a 'do-it-because-my-boss-told-me-to' mentality, and any extra requests from guests are seen as an inconvenience. I really liked the breakfast buffet where many of the attendants were older, creating a very harmonious atmosphere, like being cared for by parents while away from home. The breakfast selection was extensive. There are two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Cat petting costs 19.9 for children and 29.9 for adults, with single entry and unlimited time. Feeding animals costs 10 yuan, which includes one portion of feed. **However, if you write a good review for 1 yuan, you get fewer carrots than the 10 yuan portion. The animals seemed a bit pathetic, with the little horse constantly kicking the wire fence.** There are two swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. The buffet at the 1928 Beer Bar is more Western-style. Many people might not be used to it. We tried it, and the quality of the desserts was excellent! There's a beach right behind the hotel, with some rocks, but not too many. You can go tide pooling in the early morning and at night. It's too hot during the day due to strong sun, and there isn't much seafood to find then either. The package included access to the Haiquanwan Hot Springs, but I must mention: it was dirty. There were no tissues or disposable combs in the hair-drying area (only a few scattered combs for everyone to share). With this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel's location is indeed a bit remote, making it suitable for self-driving. There's a Shandong University cafeteria and museum nearby, which I'd give five stars!

After much deliberation, I finally decided to book this hotel for my trip, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The transportation is incredibly convenient, with a subway station right downstairs offering three lines. Plus, a new subway line to Jiaodong Airport just opened at the end of September, which I used for my return journey. Across the street is MixC Mall, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. I even got to browse books at the Fang Suo Bookstore. In the evenings, it's a short walk to May Fourth Square to catch the light show. Basically, the subway covers most of the attractions. I stayed for three nights and explored Qingdao for three days, and it truly is a great place!

This newly opened Hampton by Hilton boasts a very convenient location, close to the subway station with an abundance of dining options nearby. Pizza Hut, McDonald's, and convenience stores are all easily accessible, along with many other restaurants of varying sizes. The old Qingdao specialty restaurant next door serves particularly delicious food. The room was very clean, the bedding was neat, and the facilities were brand new. The front desk staff, Yulia, was friendly and promptly addressed any requests. The breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the freshly cooked noodles were very popular. Staying here made our trip very hassle-free. Five-star rating!

Xiaoxiao, one of the staff members, was very kind and easy to communicate with. The hotel environment was quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, so you don't have to go far for daily necessities or meals. It's a very suitable base for exploring and traveling, and we'll definitely consider it first for our next visit.
