This hotel is located in the old town, featuring a Chinese garden style, right next to the 4A-rated Panlong scenic area. Staying in such an environment offers a great experience. In the morning, I took a stroll through the hotel's garden and then visited the Panlong scenic area. I was surprised to find a well-preserved waterway city gate there.
The room facilities were complete, though the bathroom amenities were a little bit old.

The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, so if you're arriving by car, you'll need to get off at the street entrance and walk 100-200 meters to reach it. The hotel spans both sides of the pedestrian street, making it easy to find.
The hotel is housed in an antique building. Given its age, some of the facilities are a bit old, but it's still well-maintained.
I really liked the vintage decor in the room.
From my room, I could see the Qinhuai River and watch boats pass by.
The hotel is conveniently located near attractions like the Confucius Temple and boat tours. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but still manageable.
The staff provided excellent service.
It's definitely worth experiencing.
A perfect Dragon Boat Festival trip to Nanxiang (Shangri-La Nanjing).
My friends and I planned a Dragon Boat Festival gathering in Nanjing early on, and I decided to bring my elderly parents along to experience Nanxiang (Shangri-La Nanjing). We came away with so many wonderful memories.
On Friday, after checking out of the Westin next door, we arrived at the Shangri-La. The attentive doormen, spacious lobby, and familiar fragrance immediately made a great first impression.
The long line of reception desks showcases the confidence of a large hotel. The young lady who checked us in was professional and enthusiastic, helping us secure a room with a fantastic view! Despite being a hotel that's been open for over ten years, Nanxiang, both in its public areas and guest rooms, is far better maintained than the Marriott next door. It doesn't feel old at all; instead, it has a timeless charm and excellent, attentive service.
For this trip, I was out and about most of the time. My parents are older, sensitive to heat, and not keen on running around, so I booked a Horizon Club Partial Lake View Room directly through Ctrip and purchased the club benefits for both of them. After all, the quality of Shangri-La's restaurants is well-known, and it proved to be well worth the price. All three meals—breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner—were incredibly lavish and received unanimous praise from my parents, far surpassing the Marriott next door. What's truly remarkable is that even with high table turnover during a holiday, they managed to maintain such high service standards. That deserves commendation.
We did encounter a minor hiccup during our stay when a phone order was mistakenly canceled. However, the staff reacted quickly and provided an acceptable solution right away.
Next time I'm in Nanjing for a business trip, I'll definitely choose Nanxiang again.
This place is perfect for business trips! It's quiet, spacious, and super close to the high-speed rail station. Plus, they offer coffee and late-night snacks, which is a lifesaver for us workers, haha. I think it'd be great for tourists too, because the rooms are genuinely huge and have everything you need. The staff also make you feel really safe and well taken care of! 👌👌

The location is fantastic, with a bustling view of Xinjiekou right outside the window. What impressed me most was the service – friendly, polite, and incredibly responsive. The dining options exceeded expectations; the breakfast was diverse with Nanjng specialties, and the formal meals were exquisitely prepared. The room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience.
The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and responsive. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food quality was surprisingly good. I especially want to commend the Jia Restaurant on the 56th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower. On our first night, we tried their mini hotpot, and the two single sets were more than enough for two people. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, promptly helping with drinks, clearing plates, and cooking items. We also loved the buffet selection! We had such a happy meal! The next morning, we debated between the ground floor breakfast buffet and the 56th-floor one, but decided to go back to the 56th floor – and we were so glad we did! It was another wonderful experience, feeling right at home. There were many dishes available in the morning. For instance, a waitress kindly cut the Jinling large meat bun for us so we could each have half, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to CY and MYF from Jia Restaurant for their attentive service. The view was also excellent; we could see the beautiful city from our seats. All in all, I highly recommend trying it! I truly appreciate such thoughtful service!
We booked afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, which featured a beautiful birdcage design. The happy hour's light dinner, part of the executive benefits, was also delicious! I had previously celebrated a birthday at Meiyuan, so this time, I decided to try the Pacific Western Restaurant before checking out, which also offered a beautiful setting and attentive service. I feel like I'll be back very soon just for the delicious food.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was super fast. They even proactively recommended local attractions. The cleaning staff were prompt with their service and quickly responded to requests, making me feel completely at home throughout my stay.
Ambiance & Location: The location is very convenient for getting around, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. The hotel itself has lots of greenery and the public areas are beautifully designed, perfect for taking atmospheric photos. The soundproofing is excellent, so my sleep was completely undisturbed at night.
Facilities: The room was well-equipped, with the air conditioning, hot water, and bathroom facilities all working perfectly. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – making for a very relaxing sleep.
Overall, it offers great value for money, suitable for both short trips and city breaks. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely stay here again next time!

Good:
⭐ The scenery is like a huge garden, perfect for taking photos everywhere. It's divided into different buildings, each varying in age and price.
⭐ Since I don't spend much time in the hotel, I chose Building 1 for its good value for money. The room itself was quite spacious.
⭐ The front desk staff were very warm and patient, explaining all the check-in information and even helping me with my luggage.
⭐ Food deliveries go to the security room, then staff bring them to your room. The same goes for mailing packages – they'll take them to Building 3 for you. This is a service even some high-end hotels don't offer.
⭐ We dined at the 'Mountain' restaurant on the first night. The food was generally good, fresh, and tasty, and they even had some early decorations set up.
Bad:
🙁 The room facilities were extremely old and I had a physical aversion to them. To get to the second-floor room from the first, you have to take a tiny elevator, and as soon as you step out on the second floor, there's a strong smell of stale carpet. As soon as I entered the room, I checked the bathroom first. The seams around the sink were grubby, and the shower walls seemed to have stubborn stains. The carpet in the room was very dark and looked quite dirty (the last time I felt this way was at Sanya Culture).
🙁 There were so many mosquitoes and flying insects. I've never stayed in a room with so many mosquitoes. My child's hand was bitten and swollen, and I had to go out to a pharmacy to buy medicine, which only started to help the next day.
🙁 When checking out, there was a different front desk staff member who wasn't enthusiastic at all. They just took the room card and that was it, no assistance whatsoever. (Felt like they were rushing to get back to their phone.)

It is a newly opened hotel, and the service facilities have nothing to say. The breakfast is super rich, facing the lake view. By the way, I went to the 2nd floor to visit the banquet hall ~ It's very big! ! The first time there is such a big hotel in Binhai Park, I hope I can open it! ! ! ! BTW, as the first guest to stay at this hotel, the hotel sent a small cake, happy 🥳

Had a wonderful stay here! Booked for two nights and it was incredibly comfortable. The service was attentive and warm, definitely deserves a high rating. During the World Cup, the staff even wore French team jerseys and the place was decorated, which was really fun. The accommodation environment goes without saying – it was very quiet at night. It's also very close to Dongguan Street, so you can just step out and start exploring. If I come to Yangzhou again, I'll definitely be back to Mercure!

GGuest UserKudos to the cleaning staff on the 15th floor during Chinese New Year. The front desk, which is supposed to be the hotel's face, was a letdown. We checked in at the left counter using Hong Kong IDs, and after we were done, they asked if we needed help with our luggage. We had elderly and children with us, but there wasn't a single word of greeting. Breakfast was up to four-star standards; not a huge variety, but good quality. The lounge on the 5th floor was very average. They had red and white wine, but you had to ask the staff for beer.
GGuest UserThis hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Pingjiang Road, offering a quiet escape while being convenient for sightseeing. The small courtyard feels surprisingly spacious, and the 'Love Museum' adds a unique charm. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The manager was incredibly helpful, guiding us from the parking lot and patiently explaining everything. The breakfast staff were also very kind to our children. This is our second visit, and we'll definitely be back!

Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-)
The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help
The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful
Overall we had a great time here thank you
WWorld wonders 探险者Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

RRentaichangThis hotel was a hidden gem for my short trip – such a pleasant surprise! It's incredibly conveniently located near tourist attractions. The hotel itself is elegant, quiet, and peaceful. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the toiletries and storage facilities were all complete. The staff, Mango, Orange, and Apple, were warm, friendly, and efficient in processing my check-in. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

FFairy DeeThe hotel is lovely. Especially the service from the staff. Most of them speak English and are always willing to help. If anything goes wrong they make sure to correct it and leave you satisfied. Rooms are quiet and spacious. The breakfast is good , has bit of variety of western and Chinese food. The highlight for me was the food truck by the patio. It sells affordable and delicious hotdogs and very yummy ice-cream. there is a small water show in the evening as well . It’s also near a mall so many food options. A little far from the subway or train station but I’ll still give it a 10/10!

CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

GGuest UserBring your family to Yangzhou to participate in the marathon, and experience the beauty of Yangzhou in March of fireworks! When booking a room, I thought about getting closer to the starting point and finding this hotel. The unexpected stay experience made us feel what it is to be at home! The staff's service is warm and thoughtful, and the fruit and competition refueling package are specially presented! The hotel is fully equipped and the rooms are elegantly decorated. Because the marathon starts early, the hotel also serves breakfast in advance, and the breakfast category is quite rich! The hotel even provided a shuttle bus to send us to the starting point! After running back, I ate directly at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Huaiyang specialties were very delicious! Thank you very much for the thoughtful service of the hotel staff to let me go smoothly in Yangma PB! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will choose Mingfa Hotel!
SShengsaerwaduoguojiaThe hotel is right in the middle of Pingjiang Road, making it very convenient for exploring this old town area. It's not far from the subway station, and there's a shopping mall nearby for some retail therapy. The room was clean, and they provided plenty of snacks and drinks. The service was excellent, and they even gave us tickets to a Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) show, which my parents absolutely loved. The only downside was that it was May Day, so Pingjiang Road was incredibly crowded. Coming here during an off-peak season would be much more enjoyable.
