This is our third year celebrating Chinese New Year at the Sheraton Guan. Overall, it's pretty good; the room and dining services are excellent. Just a heads-up for anyone visiting in winter: avoid rooms facing south. They get incredibly hot. The hotel's central AC only blows hot air, and with the direct sunlight, the room becomes unbearable for sleeping. To make matters worse, the windows only open a tiny crack – it was truly a struggle!

We traveled during the off-season for a three-day, two-night stay, and the entire experience was delightful. Nanshanli is located at the very end of the town, but there's a shuttle bus to town every 20 minutes, which gets you there in just a few minutes – very convenient. There are also free shuttle buses to and from the high-speed train station, offering a door-to-door service, which is incredibly handy. The hotel environment is excellent. We had a garden-view room, and we could see the deer below from our balcony. We stayed in building C, but it was very easy to get to building D as you could walk between them indoors. The hot springs are fantastic; there's a large indoor one and three smaller outdoor ones, all very relaxing. Our child absolutely loved the 'Hi-sen Squad' (Kids' Club) at the hotel, playing there for two consecutive days. The rock climbing and high-ropes course were quite challenging. All the staff we encountered were incredibly patient, earning a big thumbs up from us. Our child particularly liked the 'Hi-sen Squad' young man with glasses. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety and tasted great. Our whole family was very satisfied with this trip! 👍 There were also so many recent flowers and butterflies in Thaiwoo, it was beautiful!

The environment here is fantastic! 👍 The front desk service was excellent; Xiaoxia and Xiao Zhao were particularly warm and attentive. The facilities are comprehensive, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I'm very satisfied and will definitely be back.

The views are fantastic! On the day of departure, the front desk even sent a text message with directions for driving there, which was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. It took about two hours to drive from Beijing to the hotel. We pre-registered our car and were able to park it in the parking lot. They even have fast-charging stations. We also pre-booked the public hot spring and enjoyed the Eye Stone hot spring. The breakfast quality was also excellent. I highly recommend coming here for the experience!

The experience at Ximei Wuzhou Hotel was fantastic! The lobby is grand and elegant, and the room is clean and comfortable with soft, sleep-inducing bedding. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is rich and delicious with plenty of Chinese and Western options. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and a swimming pool. The location is convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

An older hotel, but the facilities are still complete and the room was pretty clean. You can't expect too much from an old hotel. It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

What I liked most about this stay was front desk staff An Xiaorui. She greeted me with a warm smile as soon as I walked in, and her voice was gentle and polite. The check-in process was very quick, so I didn't have to wait long. She also thoroughly explained details about breakfast, the elevators, and local transportation. When I had questions later, she was incredibly patient and proactively helped coordinate my requests, showing genuine care throughout. Her professional and heartwarming service significantly enhanced my stay, and I absolutely have to give a special shout-out to An Xiaorui!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Noa Resort Aranya. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, with special thanks to Tian Meng Ting, who assisted us with check-in and kindly helped us set up the Aranya app, making everything smooth and effortless. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed with great attention to aesthetics. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. We were also pleasantly surprised by the evening delivery of a fresh fruit platter, which was a lovely touch. Overall, this is the best hotel we have stayed at in China during our two years living here. We highly recommend this superb resort for its outstanding hospitality and truly five-star service.

During the past few days in Zhangjiakou, the most unforgettable thing is not the passion of the track, but the emotion brought by the front desk. My family sent a box of sports drinks before I left. I made sure to make sure it was delivered on the day of the game. The result was that I, a road ******, filled in the wrong district address. The courier was sorting from the south of the city to a novice post office in the north of the city. Just after the race ended at 4 p.m., the logistics information showed that ”the post office is already at the post office,” but we had to leave for the next city at 5 p.m, and looked at the postoffice address 10 kilometers away on the map, stamping our feet in a hurry. When she heard this, Ms. Park comforted me by saying, ”Don't worry, I'll find a way,” grabbing the keys to her electric car and running out. She returned 20 minutes later, sweating and panting, saying, ”The sorting officers had the wrong zoning area. I went halfway through the warehouse with them to find it!” She thought she could get it now, but she frowned again and said, ”The box is too big to fit in the electric car basket. I'm afraid it will be broken on the road. I'll run around and pack it in the trunk again!” Before I could react, she turned and rushed down the stairs again - the second time she saw her, she had a sweat scarf on her arm, With her hands tightly wrapped around the trunk, even her work shirt was soaked with sweat, but she smiled and said, ”I just borrowed a shock absorber from the post office, and none of the drinks damaged.” When she tore open the packaging, she also purposely put a note on the trunk: ”Remember to replenish electrolytes after the game!” At that moment, I suddenly felt that although the wind of Zhangjiakou was cool with the grassland, but the box of drinks and the smile of my little sister, the trophy of the race course was more heart-warming. When I met such a service in a strange city, I really wanted to share the warmth with everyone! She not only helped us to get the express, but also let me feel the ”heart for heart” service temperature. Next time I come to Zhangjiakou, I will definitely choose this hotel full of human touch.

Bad check in service at front counter lady. Seems more occupied with her task than guest service. I have to call and request for our sofa bed to be open. Given we book and indicated a family of 4, unlike other hotels whom immediately arrange all additional required items such as toothbrushs, slippers, towels, water, etc. Here I have to call to request for each items. The wifi doesn't work. I have to physically bring my laptop to the front desk for assistance.. and even that was not able to connect. Breakfast, average as the food are abit hard - hard noodles, hotdogs, breads.. Only cons is location near to ski and restaurants but so are a few hotels nearby. Free scheduled public bus shuttle to/fro train station, have to walk about 7 mins to the bus stop. As a Hyatt member, this is the worse Hyatt Place hotels I stayed. I believe surrounding hotels will have better guest services and competitive price too.
