Zhangjiakou Fulong Fengling Yuegu Fanwoods Hotel

I was torn between Fulong and Taiwoo for a while, and finally chose to stay at Fulong. And I feel like I made the right choice! 🥳🥳 Before I came, I saw many reviews for this Fulong hotel saying that the hygiene was poor, check-in took over an hour, the shower pressure was tiny, and the service attitude was bad, etc... However, this time, I didn't experience any of that. First, I booked a Lakeside Room. The hotel front desk said there were only two rooms of this type. Considering we were traveling with a child, this room layout with one double bed and one single bed perfectly suited our family of three. Second, I saw that check-in wasn't until 3 PM, so we decided to go straight to Cuiyun Mountain for some fun after arriving in Chongli. Around 2 PM, the hotel called me to let me know the room was ready for check-in anytime. They even thoughtfully added me on WeChat and gave me some tips from our check-in butler. Third, our check-in took less than 5 minutes, parking was free the whole time, and three meals were included, which was great. The hotel overall was good, and the balcony offered a direct view of the lake, which was very comfortable. Here are some things I need to complain about: 1. The carpet under the sofa was absolutely filthy (I didn't take photos because I didn't want to upset anyone, but there was all sorts of dirt on it – clearly hadn't been vacuumed). 2. Two of the hangers were broken. Why haven't they been replaced? 3. There were a lot of wood splinters on the balcony railing. This is due to wear and tear from the elements, but it's very easy to get pricked in the arm or hand when trying to take a picture of the lake view. They should repair and clean up these splinters. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. I even specifically recommended this room type to two other families with kids. And the breakfast was really excellent! 👍👍

The flower sea in the town is absolutely stunning. The bonfire and musical fountain at night are definite bonuses. Enjoying a coffee and a small dessert by the lake, simply zoning out, is incredibly relaxing.

The room was quite large and spacious. The polar bear park included in the package was a lot of fun, and the grand circus was pretty good too. Overall, it's very suitable for a family trip and a great place to relax. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of attractions nearby.

Before arriving, I'd heard about the hotel's hygiene issues, but I thought I wouldn't be unlucky enough to experience it myself. Well, I was wrong. After showering at night, I used a towel and only then noticed it had bloodstains. The hotel explained it was rust, not blood. Even if that's the case, shouldn't they inspect the towels before providing them to guests? (I found other reviews on Ctrip where guests encountered similar situations, with the hotel providing bloody towels.) Secondly, I booked a Lake View Panoramic Room, not a Partial Lake View Room. However, the front desk assigned me a low-floor room on the second floor, in the very corner, with a tree directly in front of the balcony blocking the entire lake view. Finally, the hotel's breakfast restaurant simply cannot accommodate so many people dining at once. The space is small, there are tons of people, it's impossible to find a place to eat, and there are very few staff members. Large areas of plates and trash were left uncleaned. It was an absolute nightmare.

The room was much better than I expected. I thought it would be old, but it was new and very clean. The best part is that all the kids' play facilities are right outside, very close. The hotel's driver supervisor, Bai Ying, was very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. We heard that the car chassis might scrape, and he kindly took us to the underground charging station, otherwise we wouldn't have found it. And it was just a normal speed bump; if you don't have a sports car, it won't scrape the chassis. Thank you, Master Bai!

The room was spacious and bright, but unfortunately, we got a north-facing room so we couldn't see the fountain. Check-in and check-out were super quick. The lighting design in the room wasn't very practical; there was no night light. The exit route from the parking lot was a bit hard to find, and we had to drive around quite a bit before finding our way out. The hotel provided a complimentary buggy ride, and Master Bai was very enthusiastic, giving us a good introduction. He was also very patient waiting for us as we were moving slowly with the kids.

Framed by mountains and accompanied by a gentle breeze, this summer retreat felt like turning the entire season into a tender poem. Opening the window revealed lush, verdant peaks, distant mountains like painted brows, and nearby flowers blooming vibrantly. Every breath was infused with the sweet scent of grass and trees. Xiao Hu's care was just right – unobtrusive yet perfectly attentive, allowing a sense of ease to take root in every small detail. The town is nestled in the embrace of the mountains, with the outside world's hustle and bustle filtered out by layers of forest, leaving only the warmth of human life. The biggest surprise was the musical fountain at night. Water jets danced to the melody, light fragmented in the ripples, reflecting the starlight as if a magical theater had suddenly appeared in the mountains. By day, I reveled in the wilderness; by night, I fell asleep to the sound of the springs, and even time seemed to slow down. If you're also looking for a place to quiet your mind, this is where you can 'waste' your vacation on beautiful things. Healing is not a distant slogan, but the unconscious smile that forms on your lips when the mountain breeze brushes your face. 🌿

This hotel is located within Fulong Four Seasons Town. The room is spacious, well-equipped, and stylishly designed with unique features! You can enjoy the musical fountain right from the balcony. It's clean and comfortable! Downstairs, there are dining options, shops, and recreational facilities. Taking the cable car up the mountain offers beautiful and pleasant scenery. It's a great place to relax and escape the summer heat.

Facilities: Comprehensive Cleanliness: Spotless Environment: Beautiful Service: Warm and attentive. The check-in staff were very understanding of our needs. As I was traveling with elderly family members who had mobility issues, they kindly changed our room for us. I'm incredibly grateful, it was wonderful!
