Fantastic stay! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with soft and comfortable bedding. All facilities were complete and working perfectly. The staff were warm, attentive, and responsive, making both check-in and check-out very efficient. The location is convenient for getting around and dining. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

Highly recommend as This hotel has the best service! Everyone is so nice and goes the extra mile to help. Shoutout to Afei who gave us useful advice and helped to arrange transportation for us to travel from dali to here and then on to shangrila. We were served welcome drinks and snacks and a great hot breakfast. So many convenience stores nearby and 5-8mins walking for halal food options. Hotel has a cafe in the lobby where you can get delicious coffee. We loved our stay and the garden was beautiful. Free usage of their washer dryer too which helped greatly. Hotel can arrange trips to JDSM for you which is highly recommended. Afei was always available on wechat to help us navigate Lijiang as foreigners! Thank you so much for everything and we will be back again soon!

The Four Points by Sheraton Kunming City Center is actually brand new, having just opened in May 2025. However, the building itself has a history, as it was previously the New Era Hotel, a landmark in downtown Kunming. After facing business difficulties and closing down, it was taken over and divided between Atour and Four Points by Sheraton. Four Points by Sheraton occupies the higher floors, with Atour taking the lower ones. Its location is truly in the heart of the city, bustling and vibrant, much like Beijing Road in Guangzhou. Large shopping malls like Kunming Department Store and Wangfujing are all nearby. The entire street is a lively pedestrian zone, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. You'll spot it easily when you enter from Nantong Street. Upon entering, the reception counter is to your right, and a spacious lobby lounge with sofas is to your left. It's a great spot to wait if, for example, your car hasn't arrived yet. After checking in, taking the elevator to the eighth floor brings you to the amenity level. This includes a well-equipped gym, a bar, and the breakfast area. The bar opens to the public in the evenings, with mostly sofa seating that's nicely partitioned for privacy and comfort. The drinks are also reasonably priced; a cocktail costs just 58 yuan. That evening, I had a whiskey sour, and for 58 yuan, it was perfectly acceptable. It's a good complementary feature for a hotel bar. Moving on to the room, you'll find complimentary welcome fruit on the table. To the left of the entrance is the bathroom, complete with a toilet and shower. The room itself is quite spacious with a long layout and a single king-size bed. At the far end, there's a very comfortable armchair with a high back, not a sofa, where you can sit and overlook Nanping Plaza, taking in the entire Kunming city center. Next to it is a desk directly facing the window, perfect for gazing out when you need a break. This entire hotel is a renovated property, with comprehensive and well-appointed public facilities, contributing to a more comfortable stay. When I booked my room on Ctrip, I noticed it was listed as a five-star hotel. However, in my understanding, a hotel without a swimming pool is typically considered four-star. Still, you can usually book a room here for around 400-500 yuan. Overall, the hotel's location is truly excellent. The advantage of being downtown is convenience for everything, but the biggest drawback is potential traffic congestion. For tourists, however, this place is unbeatable. The pedestrian street right below offers evening strolls, snacks, and easy access to various attractions.

The view is just as beautiful as it looks, and location wise it is ideal. The room was clean and stunning views. The food was good when it was available, but many of the options on the menu were not available. Likewise, there was no water in the outdoor pool as advertised. The staff also said they didn’t know how to make cocktails, despite having a bar with all spirits available. Finally, I would recommend AGAINST booking a car transit through the hotel. We ended up missing our train from Kunming because the driver (and her friend, who was brought along for the ride) stopped multiple times, including for long snack breaks, so we arrived 20 minutes after our train time.

I brought my parents to Kunming, and our first stop was the Green Lake Hotel – we were very satisfied! **Facilities**: This is an old, established state guesthouse in Kunming that has hosted many famous figures. It even has a staircase designed by I.M. Pei, which is quite beautiful and worth seeing and staying here for. **Service**: The front desk staff were very efficient and personable during check-in. There were welcome flowers in the lobby, and the concierge even offered to share the hotel's history. Overall, it felt like a high-level guest experience. **Environment**: It's directly across from Green Lake Park, offering an excellent view. **Hygiene**: The room was great, very clean, and they provided complimentary bathtub liners and toilet seat covers. **Evening Beverage**: Delicious peach gum dessert and small pastries! **Minibar**: They provided complimentary snacks every day, a good variety and all tasty! 😋

Facilities: The facilities are complete, and the toilet has a wet and dry separation. Hygiene: The hygiene is good, and the cleaning staff are very responsible. Environment: The environment is particularly beautiful, and the ecology is superb. Service: The service staff have a good attitude, gave many gifts, and even offered a free room upgrade. The food in the Chinese restaurant is especially delicious, and you can order group deals, which are very cost-effective. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!!!

This is a very nice hotel, great location, good rooms and excellent, helpful staff. But the hotel gets bad marks in two areas. First, the food was generally very good but the Western breakfast buffet choices were nearly always cold. I tried three days in a row to get poached eggs that were not hard boiled. On the third day I got what I wanted but even then the eggs were stone cold. The second issue was the the lack of necessary security staff. The lobby bar was nice and had a young woman playing guitar in the evenings but on our second evening 4 drunks were drinking, shouting and smoking and refused to stop when the hotel staff intervened. After this things escalated and instead of having hotel security throw them out the drunks started harassing us and it got ugly so we left for our room. The hotel called our room to apologize but it was not equipped to deal with this situation and needs to have better control over their public areas. A lesson to be learned. I will be sending a separate letter to Accor management giving full details of this unfortunate event.

Highly recommended, a perfect score! The ambiance of this hotel in Dali is absolutely stunning! The luckiest thing about my trip to Dali was choosing the right hotel! As soon as I arrived at the entrance, I was captivated by the lush greenery. The courtyard is filled with succulents and local plants, with traditional Bai-style architecture interspersed throughout. Every casual photo turns out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot, so there's no need to specially seek out scenic spots for photos. The room offers amazing views; opening the window reveals the silhouette of Cangshan Mountain. I woke up to bird songs in the morning and enjoyed a sky full of stars at night – it was so tranquil and healing. The interior decor is minimalist yet tasteful, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and combined with the gentle lighting, it instantly melted away all travel fatigue. The public areas are also a big plus: a lounge area surrounded by greenery, clean and tidy corridors, and even fresh flowers placed in the elevator area. You can feel the thoughtfulness everywhere. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and not noisy, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air of nature while having a private and comfortable stay. Staying here in Dali was truly worth it! I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll choose it again next time I visit.

I booked a 3-day, 2-night package at this hotel through Trip.com, and here's a detailed review of my stay. The overall conclusion is: the hardware is up to standard, but the software service and quality control urgently need improvement. 1. **Front Desk and Welcome Service Lack Standardization.** On my first day, while calling taxis multiple times at the hotel entrance, no staff member proactively came forward to assist with opening doors. When requesting a late checkout, the first staff member informed me I could extend for free until 2 PM. Later, another staff member said it could only be extended until 1 PM if I left a positive review on Trip.com, which is contradictory. 2. **Room Facilities Also Have Shortcomings.** The room size is spacious, and overall maintenance is good, with a balcony offering direct views of the distant scenery. However, the air conditioning's heating function was problematic; the room temperature couldn't be adjusted above 17-18℃, making the room consistently feel cold. 3. **Housekeeping Service is Subpar.** For a hotel with a daily rate of over 1500+ RMB, no welcome amenities were provided, nor was there any subsequent delivery of fruit. Turndown service was not offered proactively; it was only arranged after I specifically requested it, and the quality was rough: the duvet and sheets were not straightened, only slippers were replenished without bath mats, and existing tissues on the table were not cleared. It was even worse than a Courtyard by Marriott. 4. **Dining Quality Inconsistent with Hyatt Branding.** The buffet breakfast had limited variety; only three or four vegetable stir-fries were available. Freshly squeezed juice, waffles, and Eggs Benedict were not offered. My package included one dinner, and putting aside the taste, the serving order was chaotic: dessert, then soup, then cold dishes, then rice, then hot dishes. 5. **Ancillary Services Are Incomplete.** As a resort hotel, it did not provide any shuttle service to the ancient town, surrounding ancient villages, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the airport, or the train station. Guests need to arrange their own transportation. 6. **Highlight:** There are many adorable small animals within the hotel. A male staff member on site proactively and enthusiastically explained relevant information to us, and his service was commendable. Additionally, on the last day of my stay, the front desk again asked me to leave a positive review on Trip.com. I sincerely hope the hotel management can truly pay attention to genuine customer feedback and make tangible improvements in service details and quality control.

The biggest highlight of this trip was definitely this guesthouse! The location is unbeatable – tucked away in a quiet alley, offering peace and tranquility, yet just a pleasant 5-minute walk to the north gate of Shuhe, making it incredibly convenient for getting around by taxi. On the afternoon of my arrival, the sunlight streaming through the leaves into the glass house was absolutely breathtaking, truly a sight to behold. A white cat rubbed against me, and the guesthouse even puts peanuts on the outdoor tables, so if you're lucky, you might spot some sneaky squirrels. What I want to praise most are the staff. They added me on WeChat beforehand and recommended some great activities. Everyone seemed genuinely passionate about their work. They even gave me a tour of their meticulously cultivated herb garden, and the salads made with their freshly picked, home-grown vegetables truly lived up to their reputation. Since it's an old house, I didn't have high expectations for the room, but the bathroom was impressively clean, and the amenities were excellent. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom door doesn't seal perfectly, so after a long shower, a small puddle of water would form near the sink area. However, it didn't affect the bedroom area, and it was cleaned thoroughly every morning.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy. The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything. If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

__WeChat259923****The service here is incredibly thoughtful! I initially booked a 'Koi Pond Room' which didn't have a view of the snow-capped mountains. I paid extra to upgrade to a suite with a direct mountain view, and the butler even gave me a discount, so it was actually a great deal. The room was huge, a two-story loft. If you're someone who gets cold easily and are visiting in winter, you might want to ask for a portable heater in advance. I happened to be on my period and the room was so big, so I did feel a bit chilly, but it didn't affect my sleep. The hotel also offers some ethnic costumes for guests to borrow for photos. I borrowed a hat and shawl and went to see the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' the next day, which was absolutely stunning. If you don't feel like going out, you can just relax in your room, admire the snow-capped mountains, and watch shows or movies on the projector at night – it's so cozy. I even borrowed a selfie stick from one of the ladies working here and took tons of photos in the room because the decor is so beautiful and atmospheric. You could definitely get some great shots just from your room! It's a shame I was traveling alone, so my selfie angles were limited, otherwise, I could have unlocked so many amazing photos in the room. When checking in and checking out, the butler proactively came to help with my luggage, which was very considerate. Ladies, you don't have to worry about carrying your luggage up the stairs. The nearby Baisha Ancient Town is very close and truly worth exploring; I just ran out of time and couldn't finish seeing it all. This was the first stop on my 'getaway' trip. From feeling down yesterday to being in high spirits today, it's all thanks to the beautiful scenery and the people here. Thank you!

MM463973****You haven't truly experienced an immersive vacation until you've stayed at Lijiang Banyan Tree! The courtyard villas, built into the mountainside, offer ultimate privacy. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, enjoying a cup of Pu'er on the balcony while watching the mist drift around the snowy peaks, and looking up at a sky full of stars – it's pure magic. The hotel's Naxi costume experience is incredibly atmospheric; the photos I took there are blowing up on my social media! Frank from the staff was gentle and attentive, providing service that was never intrusive yet perfectly anticipated my needs. Five-star review, absolutely locked in!

UUci UnThanks to my friends for recommending this B&B in Yunnan; it's hands down the best I've ever stayed at in mainland China. It boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning reservoir lake views and the beautiful 'golden mountain in the sun' scenery. I was immediately awestruck by the view the moment I walked in. The decor is incredibly relaxing, simple, clean, and yet thoughtfully detailed. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both delicious. The coffee was also well-prepared. The staff were friendly and lovely. And the bathtub positioned by the glass window, where you can soak in hot water while gazing at the snowy mountain and lake views—what more could you ask for? #LijiangYunduGoldenMountainSnowMountainLakeViewResortB&B

TThrasher6sic6I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly situated near major sightseeing spots in Lijiang Ancient City. Its elevated location offers breathtaking views, allowing you to see almost the entire ancient city from the property—absolutely stunning, especially at sunset! The free breakfast was a delightful surprise, offering a great variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff went above and beyond, assisting with carrying our luggage from the taxi drop-off point, which is a few hundred meters away, making check-in a breeze. The owner was incredibly hospitable, providing helpful tips about local attractions and navigating the area, which enhanced our experience. The warm service and prime location make this hotel a gem. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lijiang!

DDuolvxingshaolvyouThe Naga Hotel is located at Gate 3 of Gaozhuang, on the outskirts of the area, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The Starlight Night Market is just a few hundred meters walk to the south, and there are countless dining options nearby. Parking at the hotel is convenient, with helpful bellboys assisting with parking and unloading luggage. The staff are consistently friendly and greet guests warmly. This hotel also offers a 'private butler' service. After booking and on the eve of arrival, they proactively contact guests to provide hotel information. However, during our stay, we typically addressed any issues directly with the front desk or floor attendants, rather than through the butler. Our room wasn't huge, but it was spacious enough to open two suitcases without obstructing the walkway. The balcony glass provided excellent sound insulation, and the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area. The hotel lobby offers complimentary ice cream to guests, which was a welcome treat after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is served on the 17th floor, offering a wide variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, along with a pleasant view. The only drawback is that the elevator only goes up to the 16th floor, so you have to walk up one flight of stairs to reach the breakfast area. This might be a consideration for guests with mobility issues. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

OOris7643Our friend recommended this amazing guesthouse at the entrance of Yuhu Village, and the meticulous care and attention truly exceeded our expectations. They don't treat you like a distant 'god,' but rather like a caring friend who anticipates your every need and even goes beyond. Firstly, they ensure your arrival and departure are hassle-free; since we booked for two nights, they provided pick-up and drop-off from the train station and airport. Secondly, it's a 'one night, two meals, and one afternoon tea' package, meaning breakfast and dinner are included. The Laxi spare rib hotpot for dinner was so generous we couldn't finish it all, and the afternoon tea starting at 2:30 PM is substantial enough to fill you up even if you skip lunch – it's practically three meals a day! There's also 24/7 complimentary coffee, milk tea, and various soft drinks, plus unlimited fresh fruit, so you'll never know what hunger feels like. The rooms are ultra-modern, with Xiao Du (smart assistant) always ready to serve, and aromatherapy candles to help you relax. Daily activities are plentiful too: forest foraging, horseback riding, Naxi traditional weaving, making roasted milk tea, and crafting – you won't get bored even if you just stay at the hotel. You can also opt for a paid activity like horseback riding and hiking in the Grand Canyon for a close encounter with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. In short, you won't be disappointed.

TTiansanshijiushiwoyaThis is my fifth time vacationing in Dali, and it's been a really busy year. Dali is such a relaxing city. I stayed at the Jupiter Castle Hotel once before, right after it opened, and it left a deep impression. So I returned to Wenbi Village. Compared to a few years ago, Wenbi Village's commercial offerings are much more developed, and this hotel's service is even more meticulous. The overall aesthetic is perfect for photos. My room booking included complimentary pick-up service from Dali Airport, taking me directly to the hotel. The butler kept in touch throughout my stay. That very evening, I saw a 'burning cloud' sunset, which hadn't appeared for many days. The next morning, I witnessed the rare sight of the sun illuminating Cangshan Mountain. Wenbi Village is situated at an elevation that offers a panoramic view of Cangshan and Erhai Lake, arguably one of the best locations. Although it's been open for three or four years, the hotel is very well-maintained. The mini-fridge was stocked with many complimentary items, including face masks, jellies, and drinks, all free to enjoy. The hygiene was impeccable, and the overall environment was fantastic. Just staying in the room, curled up on the sofa, with the warm sunlight streaming in and bathing me, instantly made all the stress and exhaustion from work disappear. Thank you, Dali, and thank you, Jupiter Castle, for making this trip so perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time I get the chance!

MM898941****The best decision I made on this trip was choosing this guesthouse! The location is absolutely incredible; you can walk to all the main attractions and shopping areas, making it super convenient for exploring, dining, and getting around – no need to stress about public transport. What was even more delightful was the cafe in the lobby on the ground floor. With its wooden counter and soft lighting, the air was filled with the rich aroma of coffee. A freshly brewed latte in the morning was the perfect wake-up call, and in the evening, chatting with friends there, the ambiance was just perfect, making every photo feel like a calming, cinematic shot. The service was incredibly heartwarming too! Both the owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They proactively helped with luggage, recommended local hidden gems for food, and offered tips on what to avoid. Any requests were met with a super-fast response; there was no sense of distance at all, making it feel as comfortable as staying at a friend's house. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches evident in every detail.
