I randomly picked this guesthouse for my Lijiang trip, and it turned out to be excellent value for money. Honestly, when I travel, I really prioritize comfort, and this place completely exceeded my expectations – definitely a perfect score! 💯 The location is absolutely fantastic. It's very close to the North Gate entrance of Lijiang, so you don't have to drag your luggage far at all. Of course, the owner was also very thoughtful and drove to help me with my bags. The entire courtyard has a new-Chinese, natural wood style, and it's incredibly well-maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere. The sunlight streams onto the wooden platform and the rattan furniture. You can just sit down, have a cup of tea, space out, feel the breeze, and swing on the swing. That sense of relaxation is truly therapeutic. My work is usually quite busy, and it's rare for me to feel this way, but here it was so comfortable and relaxing – exactly what I was looking for. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. The natural wood decor felt warm and had a Japanese touch. I slept soundly until morning, practically woken up by the sun, haha. The butler service was also incredibly thoughtful; they sent detailed directions before check-in, and any issues were resolved promptly. On the first floor, there's also Hogood Coffee, and their coffee is excellent. Before leaving, I was able to grab some small-bean Yunnan coffee as souvenirs. I bought some for all my friends, and they can even ship it directly, which saved me the trouble of carrying it. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will definitely stay at Songzhuju again! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to slow down in the ancient town.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lisman Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with such care and warmth. A special mention to Allan, who personally helped with our pickup and made the whole arrival experience smooth and stress-free. The hospitality here is truly on another level. The staff were extremely helpful with our luggage, assisted us whenever we needed anything, and always made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Every small request was handled with kindness and efficiency, which really made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay. What stood out the most was not just the place, but the people. Their service felt sincere, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. Thank you to Ala and the entire Lisman Hotel team for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great comfort, amazing hospitality, and a truly pleasant experience.

Very satisfied with my stay, excellent value for money! The breakfast was especially healthy and affordable. The projector for movies was great, and the media content was quite up-to-date.

Had a really pleasant stay at YIYUN Hotel in Lijiang. The host was extremely helpful and spoke English very well, which made communication very easy throughout the stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the hotel’s architecture perfectly matched the vibes of Lijiang Ancient Town . Very aesthetic and authentic ! The location is also very convenient, right in front of the entrance to the old town. Although bags still need to be carried for a short distance because of the old town pathways, the hotel staff kindly helped us with the luggage which made everything smooth. Another plus point is that there are a few halal restaurants nearby, which was very convenient for us. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Lijiang!

After two incredible days exploring Lijiang’s ancient cobblestone alleys and vibrant night markets, I have decided to extend my stay by one additional day. The charm of the Old Town, with its winding canals and timeless Naxi culture, has truly captured my heart. While the past two days allowed me to visit the iconic Black Dragon Pool and stroll along Sifang Street, I realize that one more day is needed to fully appreciate the surrounding beauty. Specifically, I take a day trip to the serene Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, whose peaks have been teasing me from a distance. A final evening wandering the quieter, lantern-lit lanes would also allow for a deeper connection to this UNESCO World Heritage site.

I highly recommended this place if you are planning to stay in Dali. Only a couple minute walk from the hotel to the night walking/food street and old town. The staff are amazing and ready to help you with everything you need. Xiao Hui and Xiao Deng are nice and friendly and definitely helpful. I will definitely come back here again. The fun part is that you can dress traditional costume , which comes with room booking.

The only upside is the central location. This hotel is a renovation, sharing the building with another hotel, each taking half. There are only two usable elevators, and no electronic scales are provided. The elevator lobby gets crowded during peak hours. The main lobby is about the size you'd find in an economy hotel. The bedding isn't very comfortable. The windows are old, not refurbished, and the soundproofing is extremely poor. If noise bothers you, definitely do not stay here, as the hotel faces streets on three sides. You can also hear odd noises from the indoor water pipes, which is common in renovated old hotels. The staff at the entrance to the breakfast restaurant were warm and proactive. A 5-star rating feels a bit much, honestly.

Sun and Gold Mountain Pasture Hotel Lijiang 📍 Right next to Baisha Ancient Town Just a 5-minute walk to the ancient town, and the inn offers a free shuttle service to Baisha Old City. The location is peaceful yet convenient, close to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, making it easy to get anywhere. 🏡 The room is absolutely divine! Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows! Unobstructed views of the snow-capped mountains. You can lie in bed and wait for the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunshine' (sunlight hitting the snow-capped peak). No need to wake up early or fight for a spot, it's amazing! 😭 The hot tub also faces the snow mountain. Soaking in the tub while admiring the snowy peaks is the ultimate luxury. (The hot tub is huge, two people can easily fit with plenty of space left! [chuckle]) This is what a vacation should be. The whole room is smart-enabled and has a sound system. Every detail is perfect. The hotel even has its own 10-acre pasture, so you can take a leisurely stroll – super relaxing. 🍵 The butler service is incredibly thoughtful. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea are provided. For a two-night stay, airport pick-up and drop-off are included. You can just spend your time gazing at the mountains in peace and quiet, completely undisturbed. If you want to relax, unwind, and take beautiful photos in Lijiang, this is the place to go!

This hotel boasts an excellent location near Heilongtan Park, making it a quick 10-minute walk to Lijiang Ancient Town. There are numerous restaurants nearby, offering a wide array of dining options at significantly lower prices than within the ancient town itself. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. The buffet breakfast, personally managed by the owner, is exceptionally clean and hygienic, with a great variety of staple foods and dishes – highly recommended! From the hotel's observation deck, you can enjoy direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It's just a few minutes' walk to Heilongtan Park, making it an ideal spot to capture the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' phenomenon on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the morning. The hotel staff are kind and provide warm, attentive service, and it's rare to see the owner personally involved in serving guests!

The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward.
