Rraymond200909On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new.
On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp.
Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

GGuest UserThe Banyan Tree Lijiang pool villa experience was absolutely divine! It's an individual Naxi-style courtyard with a private heated pool, and you get direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from your window. The privacy is unbeatable, the room facilities are well-maintained, and the environment is wonderfully peaceful and therapeutic. Our dedicated butler, Elin, provided incredibly thoughtful service. She coordinated our entire itinerary from check-in, responding promptly to all our needs. From airport transfers, fruit platters, and turndown service to travel tips, everything was meticulously arranged and she was always responsive. The views, amenities, and service are all top-notch. This is definitely my top recommendation for a Lijiang vacation – highly recommended!

LLv..I came here with a friend and we booked a loft. Our room had a direct view of the distant snow-capped mountains, and it was beautifully decorated. The guesthouse staff were very friendly and helpful, proactively offering assistance and recommending many great local restaurants. There's also a super cute dog at the guesthouse. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

GGuest UserOut of all the places I've stayed in Yunnan this past week, this was by far the best guesthouse. I'd actually saved it in my favorites back in 2022, so I was really excited to finally visit. The views are incredible, the room is spacious, and there's a lovely little courtyard perfect for stargazing at night. Outside, there's a huge meadow where you can hang out with various animals during the day, and Napa Lake is right next to the hotel. The next morning, the butler even helped me get to the high-speed rail station at 6:30 AM, which I really appreciated. In the hotel lobby, you can help yourself to complimentary bottled water, fruit, and snacks. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and as my last night in Yunnan, it was truly unforgettable!

The location is absolutely perfect, surrounded by numerous shopping areas, making it super convenient for sightseeing and dining. The staff are warm and attentive, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, including an array of local Yunnanese snacks, ensuring a satisfying meal every morning. I specifically chose a high-floor room, and the city views from the window were spectacular. What truly impressed me was the soundproofing; the bustling street noise outside was completely blocked out, allowing for an exceptionally peaceful night's sleep. Overall, the living experience was fantastic, making it an excellent choice for accommodation in Kunming.

GGuest UserThe room was pretty good, with a nice view overlooking the old town. The hotel also has direct access to a viewing platform, which offers amazing views! There are a lot of steps in the old town, but the staff were really helpful and carried our luggage for us. Breakfast was also quite good, though we only managed to wake up early enough to have it once.

Step outside and you're in the bustling market, but inside, it's a tranquil oasis – truly the best of both worlds. The Song-style courtyard, with its white walls, dark tiles, and wooden corridors, is picturesque and elegant, offering photo opportunities at every turn. The rooftop viewing terrace is the absolute highlight. From there, you can take in panoramic views of the ancient town's charming rooftops and even catch a glimpse of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. The sunrise and nighttime views create an incredible atmosphere. I even got lucky enough to see a rainbow during my stay, which was a real treat!
The guest rooms are spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that even includes lavender sachets. Modern amenities like a smart toilet and Dyson hairdryer are provided, showing great attention to detail and ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were a wonderful surprise – they have everything: a sauna, KTV, billiards, card games, a coffee shop, and even a gym. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic, handling luggage transfers and answering all my questions about local attractions with great care. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang!

GGuest UserThis hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip.
The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey.
The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home.
The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
