Hotels With Breakfast in Tottori Prefecture, Japan

My two nights here were a perfect escape. The room felt like a retreat into calm. I especially loved the private baths, quiet, serene, and easy to access. What made the stay truly unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. From the afternoon tea with a Japanese sweet served in the room to their constant thoughtfulness and gentle smiles, every detail made me feel welcomed and cared for. My stay here will remain one of the most memorable parts of my time in Japan.

The hotel is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from Tottori Station and a 5-minute taxi ride to Hokkaido Kaiten Sushi. It boasts a nice onsen (hot spring) and was very clean. Complimentary disposable amenities were readily available for guests. On the downside, the breakfast was quite disappointing – very basic with limited variety, and many items weren't restocked, which certainly didn't justify its price. Also, be aware that if you're staying with a child in the same room, there's an additional charge of 3000 JPY per night, and breakfast for the child is extra.

Environment: The environment is good, and it's very close to Tottori Station, about a 5-minute walk. Facilities: The facilities are all good and acceptable, but it's an economy chain hotel, so I had appropriate expectations. There's also a hot spring bath, but only in one location. If it's the women's bath, then men can't use it, as the male and female bathing times are separated. Service: The service was good, and breakfast was quite tasty. They even had curry rice, so I enjoyed a hearty bowl of curry early in the morning.

Stayed in room 1202 for 4 nights. The room facilities are old. It is recommended to book a newly renovated room. Good point The breakfast is good with local characteristics. The transportation is convenient. It is on the left side of the JR Matsue Station after passing the traffic light 🚥. The surrounding facilities are complete. Bad point The room is too noisy. I was woken up by the noise of the fan in the corridor or outside at night. I was woken up at 4-5 in the morning. There was also a smell of oil smoke in the bathroom. There was no bottled water and no self-service laundry service. Facilities: a bit old Hygiene: not bad Environment: average, especially the noise problem Service: average, some basic hotel facilities are not available

Second time I have stayed here. Great hotel, right beside the station. The hotel itself may seem a little outdated but it is very cozy. It is a 10 minute walk to a main street filled with restaurants and bars. About 5 minutes walk to the bus depot if you need to get to the sand dunes. Staff were very nice and polite and helpful

This is my second trip to Tottori and my second stay at this hotel. My first experience here was great, and I found that many aspects remained excellent this time. The staff's service attitude and attentiveness are still excellent. The hotel's location is superb, with a convenient store right across the street. The in-room air conditioning worked perfectly, and I especially appreciate that they paid attention to my personal request and assigned us our preferred corner room. However, there were a few issues. Perhaps due to humidity, the duvet cover felt damp and had a noticeable musty smell, as if it had been air-dried indoors. Also, the electric kettle in the room wasn't working properly. Separately, and while not a reflection on the hotel itself, I was quite bothered by the guests in room 802 across the hall. This family of three repeatedly left their trash bin outside their door, and sometimes even in front of other guests' rooms, showing a complete disregard for shared common areas and other people's comfort. I could hear them speaking Mandarin Chinese through the door. As a fellow countryman, I was truly embarrassed by their inconsiderate behavior.

During this 6-day trip to Tottori, the best hot spring hotel I stayed in was the Misasa Onsen in Kurayoshi ♨️~ Wancuilou. I booked a one-night-two-meals package. The hot spring is a special kind of hot spring that contains radium radioactive elements ♨️. It is said that it can cure various diseases, so it is very popular in Japan 👏! We booked a Takachiho Japanese-style room, which is very large and can accommodate more than 6 people! The hotel's dinner is very rich and looks like a work of art! It is a perfect combination of vision and taste buds! The hotel also provides free pick-up and drop-off service from Kurayoshi Station!

The service was incredible. The whole hotel has tatami floor so you need to let the staff help to clean your baggage wheels and then take off your shoes before entering hotel. Hotel buffet dinner and breakfast were great. 

It's the best hotel I've ever stayed at! The hot springs are free to use, and the ocean is right in front, which was great. You can also use the yukata as a shower robe(?), which is very satisfying. I paid a little more and had breakfast, but I was very satisfied.

It's hard to review this hot spring inn. It's quite new, and the facilities are okay, but the wooden building creaks when the air conditioner is on on hot days. It creaked a few times in the middle of the night, preventing me from getting much sleep in the first half of the night, but that doesn't seem like a fixable problem. As for the price, it's quite high for Tottori, but the food was mediocre. It was fresh, but dinner was overloaded with fish, accompanied by cold pumpkin soup. The fishy flavor was enhanced by the pumpkin soup, and the overall combination wasn't well thought out. Breakfast was even more shocking: a pile of pickles... no matter how beautiful the dishes, they were still pickles... and finally a small grilled fish. This is below average for inn dining. The older waiters were generally quite helpful, but the younger ones weren't, and didn't greet each other very proactively. I won't be going back.
