Beautiful place to visit. I love the services, food, and the room is incredible. The hotel's location is very strategic. We can explore a lot of interesting places in Kuta Hopefully, I could visit this place again in the future.
Umasari Rice Terrace Villa

After a week in other more populated areas of Bali we landed in a wooden house here. Comfy bed, fridge, tea and coffee in the room and a bathroom with hot water and great water pressure was a treat. Sitting on the deck watching butterflies , birds and kites. We enjoyed several massages and many walks through the rice terraces which seem to go on forever. The aqueduct system is incredibly interesting and our host Putu, took me to visit a honey house of native bees where I got to see 50 hives in amongst a magnificent tropical fruit forest. Putu organised our motos($6/day) and had many suggestions for cooking classes and other cultural activities. This is an engage or retreat place. Food was good.

I have stayed here before in the past and booked 8 days. Was looking forwards to staying here again but it was not the same. Still beautiful villas and rooms and beautiful gardens and pool but everything else was a complete failure. First they no longer do a shuttle run into Ubud centre. My room was not available for my first night. So put in an alternative one which I was happy with. Just not happy that because I was going to be moved the next day I really couldn't unpack and settle in. They could have asked me if I wanted to stay in that room as it didn't get anyone else in for the next 7 days. In your room you no longer get the supply of tea, coffee and sugar but you get the cups and kettle. I had to plug mine in in the bathroom as there was no socket near the tray on the cupboard. So I also washed my cup in the bathroom and one day left my teaspoon in there next to my toothbrush. When I came home after an outing the receptionist pulled me up about housekeeping said a teaspoon was missing!!! Really awkward and not appropriate. Then one morning I wanted to have a nice early bath in the beautiful bathtub, but the plug would not stay down and keep the water in. So that didn't happen until later in the day. Also the bathroom towels had seen better days. At the start of my stay I ordered dinner from the restaurant. That was a big failure. The cordeon Blue was rough and dry with no self saucing, only a little bowl of tartare sauce which is normal for a fish meal but not chicken and the chips were the frozen type and uneatable. So I didn't eat here for the rest of my stay. The street outside has become very popular since the pandemic with several new really good restaurants, cafes and lovely spas.

I will start by saying the cuisine was superb. I used to live in Bali 10years ago for 5years and I am passionate about food. It was so good to be able to eat authentic Balinese cuisine which was cooked authentically with all the spices and cooking methods. A big congratulations to the chef whose beef Rendang was better than Potatoes Heads Indo restaurant and for the Ayam Betutu which was exactly like a Balinese mother would prepare. The staff were young but enthusiastic and helpful. For me this was great to experience an authentic Balinese experience again after so much has been lost in the developments down south. Congrats to you all And the mountain views are spectacular when the clouds clear

Ubud
This hotel is in great walking distance to the art market, restaurants, and shopping. Although the front entrance is being renovated, that does not impede access to the hotel and is not noisy. (New brickwork being laid on the ground) The ambiance of the location is quite nice with lots of greenery and unique architecture. Our room was clean and large, but the balcony cannot be used in the mornings or evenings due to the monkeys! This hotel is right next to the monkey forest, so expect visitors. Several monkeys blocked our way from walking out of our room one evening, but a hotel worker chased them off for us. It did take getting used to needing to hang wet bathing suits in the bathroom rather than a drying rack on a balcony. The monkeys seem to come early in the mornings (3:30-4:30!) and in the evenings (6:00-8:00). Other than those times, we did not see them nor have any problems with them. There is a small but nice hot buffet breakfast at the hotel and two swimming pools.

Stayed here with my boyfriend and my two friends. The room was very clean and spacious. The owner was such a nice man and was always willing to help/make our stay as comfortable as possible. Very good location also as one of the nicest beaches is less than a 5 min drive away. Would definitely recommend this place!

The small road to go is a bit difficult to find. The driver said that there is a problem with navigating according to Google Maps. He has been asking the villagers for the way. Fortunately, the locals are very enthusiastic and know this place. Lots of locals spend weekends there and lots of people order BBQ in the evening. The view of the volcano, the volcanic lake, and the natural environment are amazing! Although the room is not big, the 1.8-meter bed is enough for a family of three to sleep. It has an independent bathroom, and the software can order dinner and breakfast. The price is reasonable. There is an additional charge for more than 2 free bottles of water, about 1.5 yuan per bottle. Overall very recommended.

I had an amazing birthday stay at Salty Breeze and it’s been great to spend time in Rapture Camp too! I think the rooms can be improve ie the curtains came quite short and so people from the outside, but overall I like the experience. As a nature lover and animal friendly traveller, i love how the staff are taking good care of the surroundings and animals (shout out to Milly for saving the cat) and also a big shout out to to Nick, you are the best and chillest surfing teacher ever! For sure I will recommend and come back again! thanks for the wonderful experience!

The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is good, extra charge$30 for children staying even we share bed ,in other same level hotel, we only pay extra breakfast . It is really a mistake to book by Trip for this one, cause the girl can't find our booking and keep doubting and asking me to contact with trip.com myself in late evening after a long journey to Ubud with my young daughter with serious car sick standing in front of the window long , while the lady sitting keep blaming my coming here, it is totally ridiculous feeling like why you bother me by booking our hotel , you should not be here, cause I can't find your booking, you can't stay cause you didn't pay us, anyway you are not welcome! the girl keeped me standing almost half an hour keeping convince me :we have no guest check in today, I can't find your booking, or you find Trip yourelf?even I showed my booking infos to her, even which is more expensive than their normal booking price ,while I got receipt as less as their normal price later , good stuff you !I even gave her my copy of booking infos at last! And no one come to give me an explaination or further step until I asked myself in the morning, they finally found the booking themselves in another agent, so is it my fault to come yesterday? ?? I found many ants, a huge spider and consistent creepy sounds in my room at night ,afraid and can't sleep the whole night so with light on, the room which is of course not my booking in the picture but they said same type . Sorry to bother you, so I will be Kind and won't book next time to bother each other again .
