The rooms are largely located in the former farm building. The air conditioning works well and heats the room in the winter months. The room is equipped with a medium standard. The rooms offer fresh water and a water cooker for tea.
Breakfast is delicious and breakfast eggs are freshly prepared on request.
The dinners offered are also very delicious. This is a house-defined 3-G-wide menu. Cost item 45 €, with wine sample (4 wines) 60 €.
The owner of the wine is the host and will be happy to give information on all the questions of wine farming, as well as on attractions in the nearer and further surroundings.
Different port wines, red and white wines are offered for expension and purchase."

Guest UserVidago Palace Hotel is very easy to access by expressways. The service is impeccable, and the rooms are large and well-renovated. The hotel has a beautiful balcony and pretty gardens.
The dinner there had a good choice of food, and the wine list is pretty extensive, and expensive.
Worth a visit even if is not cheap for Portuguse standars.

Incredible service from start to finish, best we received on our trip (which is saying something). The room was pristine, had small gifts for my better half’s birthday and the food/wine were excellent. The honest bar was great and genuine interest in their wine was clear to see from everyone that we spoke to.

However, in my opinion, the most serious thing is the one that causes the most inconvenience is the hotel bar, as it does not have any permanent staff, and the guest who goes to reception must inform that he wants to be attended, and in turn, the reception contact a restaurant employee to come and serve guests at the bar, not to mention the ridiculousness that the bar does not serve anything to eat, only drinks are served, a situation that causes a lot of inconvenience as the nearest cafes and restaurants are about 15 km away .
In short the hotel does not have a service according to a 5 star hotel.
