I was here for the Jishukan High School Jishusai festival and forgot my slippers, so I just wore the hotel's. My room had a direct view of Toyohashi Station platforms, but the soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear any noise at all. The breakfast was quite extensive and very delicious. Not only did it have all the usual offerings, but also local specialties like Toyohashi curry udon and chikuwa (fish cakes), and there were even two different kinds of chikuwa! They were really tasty, and it meant I didn't have to go out and buy the now-pricier chikuwa. My only slight disappointment was that the curry udon was cold. Also, the entrance on the first floor that connects to the station was under renovation, and it wasn't as obvious, similar to the steps where Lao Ba eats takoyaki.

The mattress was very comfortable; I slept soundly during our two-night stay with my family of three. It’s a nice hotel, quiet despite being in a bustling area. Getting here from Centrair airport is super convenient – just one direct bus stop, no need to transfer to the subway. Just a heads-up, make sure to check the bus schedule carefully. We missed our bus by literally a minute and even ran to the wrong exit. We watched it pull away right on time, not a second late. I was so out of breath from running but still couldn't make it – quite an unforgettable experience!

I stayed after the night pool in Laguna. Since the toll road will be closed at 20:00, I had to check in by then, so I was harassed before staying, but after check-in, I was kind and polite to serve customers. Even though I arrived late, I was very impressed with the detailed response such as confirming the breakfast the next morning. From this year, I was convinced that I could see my best in the renewal. In addition, the service of pear 🍐 and the water area are renovated and beautiful, and the price is cheap and very satisfied. Thank you very much for your help this time. I stayed at this hotel on the first day of my trip. The overall facilities were very nice and the service was great. The room was also very clean, and the lounge was especially impressive. Guests were able to use it for free within a set time, and it was great to be able to relax while enjoying various alcoholic beverages and coffee. The gym facilities were also great. If I visit Toyohashi again, I would like to stay a little longer. Thank you!

We stayed at Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—directly connected to Nagoya Station, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options all around, making it extremely convenient. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing stay. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options to start the day. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nagoya.

We really love this hotel. Location is great as it is next to a garden and historical tea house. It's a short walk to Inuyama Castle and we do have the castle as our lovely breakfast view. The room is big and comes with a balcony with a nice view of the surrounding area. There is also an onsen at the hotel with indoor and outdoor baths! Hotel is also a short, scenic walk from the train station. I would love to come back again!

The airport shuttle drops you off right at the hotel entrance. Since I arrived early, the front desk attendant kindly offered to store my luggage. When I returned in the evening after exploring, I checked in. My room was on the 16th floor, as requested, and the bed was set up exactly how I wanted it. Despite facing the street, the room was incredibly quiet; I couldn't hear any noise from outside or the hallway. The hotel is conveniently located just a 6-7 minute walk from Fushimi Station, which is only one stop away from both Nagoya Station and Sakae Station. The hotel exudes an old-money charm, but it's exceptionally well-maintained, elegant, and spotless. The staff greeted every guest warmly. The room was quite spacious, and having a walk-in closet was a great bonus. It was cleaned daily, and the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary. The toiletries were Bulgari. Across from the hotel is Shimo-en Park, and the airport shuttle stop is right by the park, making it very convenient for families with multiple pieces of luggage or elderly members. Overall, the Nagoya Kanko Hotel left a profoundly positive impression on my trip to Nagoya.

A great hotel! Even though it's a bit old, it's super easy to get to from the airport. The Christmas atmosphere was lovely. The bus terminal is conveniently located on the third floor downstairs, making it really easy to get to Shirakawa-go and Takayama. The breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied. Definitely recommend staying here! 👍👍👍 It's a shame it's closing for renovations next month, but I'm looking forward to seeing it even better afterwards.

No complimentary bottled water in the room? Usually, Japanese hotels provide it, but it's not a big deal. The breakfast selection was very limited and repetitive every day, with no changes to the dishes. Staying five nights and having the exact same breakfast every morning was pretty frustrating.

This hotel is located between Sakae and Nagoya Station. For those who travel light and move fast, you can easily walk to both. If you're traveling with kids who can't walk as far, a taxi ride is very short. The room is fully equipped, not only with a hairdryer but also a flat iron. They even provide children's toiletries. The front desk staff explained all the check-in procedures very clearly, and they offer Chinese language service (it feels like the front desk staff speaks every language!). I also saw a staff member immediately help a guest who was carrying two coffees by pressing the elevator button and scanning their card, asking for their floor (very observant and proactive). It's a great hotel! The semi-buffet breakfast is also excellent.
