I was here for the Jishukan High School Jishusai festival and forgot my slippers, so I just wore the hotel's. My room had a direct view of Toyohashi Station platforms, but the soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear any noise at all. The breakfast was quite extensive and very delicious. Not only did it have all the usual offerings, but also local specialties like Toyohashi curry udon and chikuwa (fish cakes), and there were even two different kinds of chikuwa! They were really tasty, and it meant I didn't have to go out and buy the now-pricier chikuwa. My only slight disappointment was that the curry udon was cold. Also, the entrance on the first floor that connects to the station was under renovation, and it wasn't as obvious, similar to the steps where Lao Ba eats takoyaki.

It was a very well located hotel just 5 mins walk away from the Nagoya station and shopping. The hotel is also within 10mins walk to good food and restaurants.
The room is slightly cozy, but overall still very comfortable and clean, with a good size bath tub. Very satisified with the good service from the hotel staff, as expected of Japanese hospitality
The room can directly see Okazaki City, and you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Okazaki City and the surrounding area when you have breakfast in the restaurant. The beef tendon curry is delicious and healthy, and the honey melon 🍈 ice cream is also very delicious. Thanks for the hospitality 🙏
We used this hotel to go to Ghibli Park.
We travelled by car and didn't use the train, but I thought it was very conveniently located as the station was close by.
We stayed there with a 2-year-old child, and the staff were very kind and spoke to us, so we were glad that we had a comfortable stay from start to finish.
The room, bathroom, and toilet were clean, and for breakfast we had a buffet of fruit, Western and Japanese food as well as pancakes that could be ordered, so our child was able to eat a lot.
It was night so it was difficult to find the parking lot, but once we looked carefully at the signs it was fine.
It was only about 30 minutes to Ghibli Park using the highway, so we'd like to use this hotel again when we go there.

This was my second stay at this hotel because my first experience was so great. The night view is absolutely unbeatable, overlooking Nagoya. It's incredibly convenient for shopping and dining in the Sakae district; there's a brand new mall right downstairs with Montbell and Blue Bottle Coffee.
However, there was a small hiccup during this stay. I was suddenly woken up at 4 AM by the fire alarm and a loud broadcast announcement. It took a while before I could fall back asleep. The next day, I saw an explanation saying it was either a guest smoking or accidentally pressing the fire alarm in the elevator.
A super great stay experience
The hotel has an incomparable sea view. I met a Japanese couple on the beach next to them to take wedding photos. It must be a romantic place. The hotel staff knew that we were foreigners and tried their best to communicate with us in non-Japanese. It was really very considerate. Several of them touched me. I will talk about the small details here. 1. The hotel provided us with a room that matched my birthday. 2. The hotel arranged for us a very attentive little sister Zheng to pick us up. 3. The hotel provided us with a direct link to Xipu Station. The highlight of the check-out bus was that the driver was worried that we wouldn't be able to take the bus. He arranged tickets for us to take the tram. How could such a service not be memorable? In addition, the hotel's hot springs, private baths, and meals are all top-notch. Thank you for your attentive service. I can only express it in one word👍🏻

The location is great! From the central exit of Nagoya Subway Station, turn right, go down two sets of stairs, and you'll find an elevator lobby. Take that elevator to the 1st floor, then switch to the elevator across from it to the 11th-floor lobby for check-in. I was relieved that my large suitcase could open and lay flat in the room, and there was also a full-length mirror. The cleanliness was excellent, with no strange odors. My room faced the street, but it wasn't noisy, and I could see the TV Tower across the way. Taking the elevator directly to the 3rd floor leads you to the bus station, which is very convenient for traveling to other cities. The only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi was unstable and would disconnect automatically.

Front Desk staffs were very helpful and they helped to make restaurant reservations. Room was spacious and clean. Location is good and is close to JR Nagoya. Overall good hotel, if price is a little bit cheaper, it will be better value for money.

I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied. The room was spacious, not cramped at all, and I even got upgraded to a higher floor. It's very close to the Sakae shopping district, with all the malls just about a 15-minute walk away. In the other direction is Shin-Sakae, where you can find quite a few Chinese restaurants. There's a Sugi pharmacy right outside the hotel, which is super convenient for buying cosmetics, daily necessities, and food – I shopped there every day. For breakfast, you can choose between the ground floor buffet or the second-floor Japanese set meal. I'd definitely recommend the buffet on the ground floor; it has a wide variety, including名古屋特色的烤鸡翅 (Nagoya-style fried chicken wings), though it can get a bit crowded. The service was also excellent, absolutely flawless. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Nagoya. The only thing to note is that the road leading to Sakae is a gentle uphill slope, which might be a little tiring if you're pushing a stroller.
Amazing stay for lego lovers. The entire hotel is filled with elements of decorations made of lego. Kids will love it here as there are various areas to play with lego and room provides a box of lego for play too! Legoland is right in front of the hotel.

GGuest UserI recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya Hotel, and I want to highlight some exceptional service that made our visit memorable.
Thoughtful Amenities
The welcome ice cream for my sons was a delightful surprise. It was a thoughtful gesture that made them feel special and added to our overall positive experience.
Duty Manager Mr. Andei Ho
One standout moment of our visit was when Mr. Andei Ho, the Duty Manager, came to assist us during one of our evenings at the hotel. Being a Hongkonger himself, he made us feel right at home. When we returned from a day out and needed to store some belongings at the concierge, Mr. Andei approached us and warmly communicated in Cantonese. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly made us feel welcomed.
Proactive Assistance
After our check-out, Mr. Andei noticed us trying to call an Uber in the lobby and proactively offered to help by calling a taxi instead. Given that we had too much luggage, he went above and beyond by marking the pick-up and drop-off locations for us at the Airport Express Station, ensuring a smooth departure. One day, he saw us waiting outside for a taxi and proactively asked a colleague to come over and see if we needed help calling a taxi.
Housekeeping
I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for their outstanding work. They kept our room impeccably clean and tidy throughout our stay, greatly contributing to our comfort.
Summary
In summary, my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya was fantastic, thanks to the outstanding service from Mr. Andei Ho and the entire staff, including the diligent housekeeping team. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future!
GGuest UserNikko Style Nagoya is a fantastic choice for location and convenience. Most of the places we planned to visit were within a comfortable 10 to 30-minute walking distance, which made exploring the city very easy. Nagoya Station is also only about a 10 to 15-minute walk away, making it very convenient for train travel to other destinations.
The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and comfortable, making it a perfect base for both sightseeing and relaxation. Highly recommended for travelers who value accessibility and walkability.

__Cindy_Service: Upon entering the hotel, the staff immediately offered to take our luggage up to the fifth floor for check-in. Every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly.
Environment: The room was very clean and spacious.
Facilities: The room was equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and used capsules were replenished daily. The water in the minibar was complimentary, while other drinks and alcoholic beverages were chargeable.
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Exit 1 of Yabacho subway station.
DDWUThe location is great, extremely close to train station and has access to many bus stations. It’s walkable to a lot of touristy places as well. The hotel services were smooth, and receptionists were very helpful. The only major downside is having no aircon. The room was much hotter than outside. We tried opening the window and got bitten by many mosquitoes. The next day we asked for a fan, but overall it’s still a bit too hot. Apart from that, the overall experience was enjoyable.
