I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — very convenient and easy to access. There are many popular food chains and restaurants nearby, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The hotel is definitely worth the money. The price matches the quality, and overall it offers great value for what you pay. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and reasonably priced place to stay.

An Outstanding Stay at Park Royal – Comfort, Cuisine & Class Just wow! Park Royal is perfectly located for travelers, right in the heart of downtown yet wonderfully peaceful throughout the day. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless—the check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and polite. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, offering great comfort after a long day. The highlight of my stay was the fantastic Christmas buffet dinner, and I can confidently say that Park Royal offers one of the best breakfasts in town—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. An added bonus was the reopening of the club within the same premises from 31st December. As a Park Royal guest, I was offered complimentary entry, which made the experience even more special. With everything nearby, excellent hospitality, and a calm atmosphere, Park Royal truly stands out. I will definitely visit again to relive these wonderful memories.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s formerly known as Rosewood Yangon and now reopened for 8 months. Everything is excellent, very friendly, patient and helpful staff, extraordinary service. The hotel’s history dates back to 1927 so it’s absolutely a historical building. The decoration is very exquisite, breakfast is tasty and there are many choices. The location is also good and safe, very near to Sule Plaza, General Post Office and British Embassy. On terrace you can see the river view. I want to especially express my gratitude to Vanessa and Swar, they provided me with a lot of detailed information so I can know more about this hotel, this city and this country. Please make sure they can receive this feedback and my appreciation! Meanwhile, the front desk Moo Thaw, Luca showed me the hospitality. Check in took almost 1 hour! I could not figure out why? Other than that, everything was fine! I booked two times, both of them check in took more than at least 30 minutes

Meliá has a very good location, just opposite Inya Lake. While the interior design is simple and not very modern, the facilities and service are great. It would be nice if a sauna and jacuzzi were available and provide briefing while check in. The breakfast is amazing. I was surprised to see both a café counter and an ice cream counter during the breakfast session. However, they did not offer any complimentary service for birthday or anniversary requests.

Hotel G Yangon is a very modern and stylish hotel with a great atmosphere. Everything is extremely clean and well maintained. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful – truly one of the highlights of the stay. The location is excellent, and having security on site at night adds an extra sense of safety. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Yangon. Highly recommended!

As one of Asia's three most iconic hotels, The Strand is well worth a stay, regardless of Yangon's inherent challenges. The hotel itself exudes a strong sense of history, and upon entering the room, a subtle woodsy aroma fills the room. While the room doesn't come with a kettle, coffee, or tea bags, hot water, coffee, or tea are readily available at the front desk. Breakfast is also available on a à la carte basis. The amenities are worthy of a heritage hotel. The hot water for showers was sometimes insufficient, but overall, the benefits outweighed the disadvantages.

The Inya Lake Hotel is a bit dated but very well-maintained, quietly situated in a beautiful park. The service is excellent – ​​from the porters to the reception staff (Dan Dan!, Min, and Kaung deserve special mention) to the room service. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the restaurant in general is very good. There's a lovely pool with its own café. You could easily spend days here without ever feeling the need to leave.

This is the only hotel I stay in when visiting Yangon, the staff are super friendly and the facilities are very well maintained. The spa is a must visit, the gym is small but more than enough for your needs, and the large pool is very clean. The breakfast buffet have many options, dimsum, local burmese dishes, and western dishes. They also have an out deck bar with a decent view. There is a mall right next door with more food options and a convenience store.
