Smell strong cigarettes smoking upon open the door. Mixed with the fragrant of the room was super overwhelming and cause nauseous. Thought could be really the smell of the fragrant they use but when i entered the toliet. Smell of ppl smoking inside before… with my 2 kids, I request for change of room which was given. But the hassle of expecting to rest when checking but then end up with need to make a trip down to reception to change room not pleasant for me. Troublesome.. hotel all are good but RM200 to fine smokers who smoke inside the room is too small as most SG and MY can afford. Should increase the fine to $3000…. Don’t worry.. smokers are rich people since they are afford to buy cigarettes to smoke their life away..

Fuss free, great location, spacious room, clean hotel. Enjoyed the stay here. Nice buffet breakfast, international spread. Only traffic outside was bad during certain hours. Otherwise, we had a great lovely stay here. Managed to visit the monday pasar malam nearby.

Popped over to Johor for an impromptu trip and ended up staying at KSL Hot Spring Resort. Overall, a very positive experience. • Cleanliness & Room: I’d rate the hygiene at 88% and above. The room was well-maintained, smelled fresh, and felt ”good enough” for a comfortable stay (not for view). Definitely worth the price paid. • Location: This hotel is best suited for those traveling by car. It is tucked away in a quieter spot, but very convenient to get to Tebrau and Mount Austin (lots of food and cafes nearby!). • Parking: A big plus for road trippers—parking lot is free for hotel guests. • 24hr front desk Service: The staff here are very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. If you have your own transport and want a clean, quiet, high-value place to stay near the Mount Austin/AEON Tebrau area, this is a solid choice. Will definitely consider coming back.

Check -in and check out service was good and fast. Old hotel but well maintained. Room was clean with bathtub 🛁. Nice city view from room window. Breakfast was good and Christmas decorations was nice. Gym facility was good too!

This hotel is incredibly close to JB Sentral. After clearing customs, you just follow the overhead bridge, walk through JBCC shopping mall, and it's right across the street. Do note that the ground floor is just for the concierge and luggage storage; the front desk is on the 6th floor. It's surrounded by JBCC and City Square, and popular spots like Hua Yang Kopitiam, Ming Ang Confectionery, and Mr. Sotong are all nearby – you'll have no trouble finding places to eat and shop. The hotel is also within walking distance of the old railway station, Johor Ancient Temple, Indian Temple, Tan Hiok Nee Cultural Street, and Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple. The guys at the front desk and concierge are all polite and enthusiastic. The room is spacious and comfortable, power outlets work, and there's even a kettle! 🥰 I genuinely recommend it!

Convenient location to Aeon Mall & Green Oasis massage place. Front desk staff responded immediately to get technician in checking hot water for shower. Shower head needs to be changed. Overall a pleasant stay.

My first stay at R&F Seine was pleasant. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and spacious, offering comfortable living space with modern furnishings. Everything was satisfactory overall, except that the water heater was not functioning, which caused inconvenience during my stay.

We weren't planning on staying overnight in JB but life happens and we needed a room for 2 nights. Trip.com came through for us and when we got to this hotel, the staff at Doubletree, especially ROZLIN and MOHAR from their Careline department, were SUPER helpful and kind. Their level of care for their guests was truly impressive and it was evident to us that this is part of their culture and we extended our stay for a 3rd night as a result. Doubletree by Hilton Johor Bahru is now our top choice for JB!

Room Condition: The hotel is quite old and a bit rundown, so it’s understandable that the furniture is also aged. The table lamp/study light looked worn out and could use some maintenance. Service: Check-in at the front desk was smooth, but we faced an issue with the TV in our room. We couldn’t watch any channels at all. At first, we thought it might be due to the weather, but the TV in my parents’ room worked fine. We scanned the QR code to request assistance and received only “Noted” as a response. We sent two messages and got the same reply both times. Since there was no follow-up, we went to the front desk to report it in person, but unfortunately, no action was taken until we checked out. That was quite disappointing. Car Park: Try to avoid parking directly under the trees, as there are quite a lot of weaver ants around the area. Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet was okay. The kurma chicken tasted more like ayam ungkep, which was a bit misleading, but I actually loved it since I really like ayam ungkep.
