Stayed here after more than 15 years. Booked the grand king bed and it was enormous. Arrived at 1pm and check in was completed in 5 minutes. Fantastic amenities with cable tv. Strong very hot shower. View of the swimming pool. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were too hard. Had a stiff neck the next day. Great food all around the hotel. Overall a wonderful stay.

This tine, we booked 3D2N staycation at Holiday Villa. This was my amazing staycation at Holiday Villa. Connecting room in high floor and facing the same direction as the main road to the hotel lobby. We got to watch fireworks released by Malaysian residents celebrating Hari Raya on the eve. Nice fireworks from good view. Breakfast was good too. Rooms were kept clean . The only 2 improvements are firstly, the queen size bed with bath tub, taking a shower is challenging as the water leak from the side of the bath tub to the floor causing the toilet floor to be wet. I have to clean the floor after my shower. The second improvement is Friday soya bean drink was served hot , unfortunately today (Saturday) the soya bean drink is served cold. Counter staff can be more presentable and professional to serve customers in line than doing own things.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot, especially if you are driving. They were having Ramadan buffet promo during my trip but it is a short drive to lots of nice restaurants. We tried Teck Sing for their curry fishhead and paper wrapped herbal chicken (prepare to queue) and Ah Soon BKT. Car park is free for hotel guest. Room design looks dated and lighting is adequate but could be brighter. Toilet looks like it belongs to a different decade. The shower curtain rod was bent and looks flimsy. Overall it is alright for a night stay but they should definitely update their rooms. Plenty of new boutique hotels around for the same price.

I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional. The check-in process was smooth, and the famous warm DoubleTree cookie made the arrival even more pleasant. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the well-maintained facilities. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything spotless. The hotel location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby shopping malls, restaurants, and the CIQ checkpoint. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and the food quality was excellent. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru to anyone visiting Johor Bahru and look forward to staying here again in the future

The hotel's location is excellent; it's right across the road from the Johor Bahru checkpoint, just through the mall. There's also Haidilao downstairs, along with various cafes and bakeries. The hotel room was spacious enough. However, the only downside, and a very disappointing one, is the extremely poor soundproofing! There's a connecting door within the room that's shoddily sealed. We could hear everything from the next room, and even see the light through the door gap. If someone with ill intent were to spread a virus or something similar, it could easily lead to terrible consequences. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also incredibly unstable, disconnecting every five minutes, which was extremely frustrating. The hotel breakfast was also very unappetizing. Please choose carefully.

The location is quite deep inside, so it’s a bit inconvenient to access. The room was okay and the toilet was acceptable, although the bathroom could definitely be improved. The swimming pool is shared with the residents, and it didn’t look very clean as there were quite a lot of dry leaves in the pool. As for the hot spring, only one tub was actually warm. The rest were just room temperature and felt quite cold, so I’m not really sure why the hotel calls it a hot spring. Other than that, the overall experience was quite average.

The family suite that I stayed in, time to do something to the toilet. The toilet bind is so dirty and the soap holder screw is loosen. Also the shower glass panel like abit loosen, scared that it will fall while bathing. The hotel supposed to be a non smoking area? I can smell cigarette smell at the corridor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing staycation We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed how peaceful and comfortable this place is. The unit was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with complete amenities that made our stay very convenient. The view was absolutely lovely, perfect for slow mornings, coffee by the balcony, and winding down after a long day. What we appreciated most was how quiet and relaxing the environment felt, despite being very accessible near the restaurants, malls, convenience store and transportation. Everything we needed was nearby, yet the place still gave that calm, private staycation atmosphere. The room was so clean with aircon and ceiling fan, bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the kitchen setup was practical, got also Ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries. Overall, this is a great spot for anyone looking to rest, recharge, and enjoy a peaceful staycation with a nice view. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you so much again.
