I was very satisfied with this hotel. Its location near Kaohsiung's bustling Formosa Boulevard MRT station is excellent, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby, plus a large grocery store just across the street. The hotel's service truly felt five-star. While there isn't a grand lobby, the practical amenities, like the outdoor swimming pool, were fantastic. The breakfast was also great, and they even had ice cream!
The hotel is near to airport; benefit the early flight if in need of a good rest.
Is convenient to travel to other cities as there is a metro station downstairs.
Hotel amenities not up to standard thus low rate given, and already feedback to the staff. There was a crackline on the window, the TV was so special that we could not get back to the TV channel; and the bidget is not functioning properly.
Overall, is ok if need a good wash up and rest before the early flight. Great sunrise & airport views! (In the photo you can see the cracked line of the window 😅).

Everything was good during my stay in this hotel. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.

Location: You will need to walk up to 15 mins with the last part of the trail to be uphill. If you have heavy luggage, you will need to do some workout. But overall, it is located in the quiet area of the town and very peaceful. Around the corner, there's a 7-e convenient store.
Room: Big and spacious, and very clean. To note that, the fridge is sharing among all the rooms in the same floor.
Service: Good and excellent customer service.
Breakfast: Decent but not entirely amazing.

My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...).

This is a long-standing five-star hotel that I've always enjoyed, but this time I was a bit disappointed. The executive lounge used to be accessible anytime, but now afternoon tea is only for one person, which feels like a cost-cutting measure. Also, the breakfast selection is quite limited, which I can personally accept, but there's definitely room for improvement. The breakfast in the main lobby is much more extensive, making me wonder if they're trying to encourage guests to book standard rooms. The service was excellent and very professional, though I did notice more migrant workers around.

We stayed at 2 bed room suite and really enjoyed the view from the big windows. My daughter loves exploring the rooms and looking out of the window. She still talks about going back to Kaohsiung Marriott as she loves the room. We also love how the hotel is connected to a shopping mall with good restaurants, an indoor children playground and a good book store. Breakfast was of good variety and we chose to have breakfast at the main restaurant everyday. Lounge is also nice, although the breakfast variety is less.
My only disappointment would be the kids club as I don't think it is well equipped, in comparison to other 5 stars or 4 stars hotels. It is more like a room with some toys (building blocks and a broken kitchen) and the children fought over the toys.
Overall, we enjoyed the stay and hope to return in the future.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was even a Cantonese-speaking staff member who helped answer our questions. Housekeeping was very prompt in delivering requested items, very responsible. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Jiaoxi Train Station. While the Jiaoxi Transfer Station is a bit further, it's still an acceptable walk within 12-15 minutes, and a taxi isn't expensive. I recommend taking the bus for a quick and convenient trip to and from Taipei or Taoyuan Airport.

The hotel's location is a bit average; there aren't many shops nearby downstairs, so you have to walk a bit. It's right by a main road, but luckily the soundproofing is quite good. The room isn't very big, a twin room, and the beds are a bit small. There's also no luggage rack in the room, which is inconvenient – I was hesitant to put my luggage on the carpet fearing it might be unclean, and putting it by the door would block the way. I didn't use any other facilities, only had breakfast, which was decent. Luggage storage was also very convenient.

The hotel was really comfortable, perfect for our winter trip to Penghu. It's the best hotel to stay in Penghu, very comfortable, and conveniently located close to all the attractions. Plus, there's a Starbucks downstairs, making it super easy to grab coffee. We expected Penghu to be freezing in winter, but it turns out winter in Penghu is actually very pleasant. While you can't go swimming, the weather is very enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting Penghu in winter; you'll make some wonderful memories.

KkhtravelThe hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!
CCaleb CreasonHotel is quite nice, staff was very friendly and room as clean and equipped nicely. Breakfast was expansive with a good selection for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many things. We took a nice walk to the science park area and visited one of the local temples. There is also a nice speakeasy bar within 10 min walk (kind of hidden past the starbucks up the hill). I would definitely recommend this hotel to business visitors or tourists as well.
GGinaLim1008I booked this hotel for my boss's family who were returning from the US. My main reasons for choosing it were its convenient location and the availability of a triple room. However, the platform later informed me that the payment couldn't be processed and cancelled my booking, forcing me to rebook at a higher price.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: There's a 7-Eleven nearby and a FamilyMart right across the street, which is quite convenient overall. However, it's a bit far from the subway station, at least a 15-minute walk. The hotel can help call a taxi.
Service: The service was good. On the first day, my room had a very strong perfume smell, which made me uncomfortable as soon as I entered. I immediately contacted the front desk to request a room change. After about a 10-minute wait, staff assisted me in successfully changing rooms! Throughout my stay, all my needs were met to my satisfaction!
The hotel offers views of Songshan Airport and Taipei 101 on one side, and the Ferris wheel 🎡 on the other!
QQhchenI've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it's always been a good experience. The hot springs are very relaxing and enjoyable. I do feel that next time, there could be fewer strict rules – it's just a hotel stay after all. I remember before checking in, all I wanted to do was rest, but the front desk kept me there explaining a lot of precautions. I wish I could just read the information myself.
JJLun3388Sweetme Hotspring Resort is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station and conveniently close to many restaurants.
One of the highlights of the stay was the spa experience. Guests can enjoy both the private in-room hot spring and the public spa facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was another strong point, with a good selection of food to start the day right.
Overall, Sweetme Hotspring Resort delivers a well-rounded experience with great amenities, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.
AAnonymous UserGreat stay at Grand Hilai Taipei, I made full use of the pool this time - the last time a typhhon hit and the pool deck had to be closed duh... The Taipei Cosplay summit was taking place at the exhibition center next door, which made for interesting action
海海梧This hotel is rated five-star, but the rooms feel more like a four-star experience. Comfortable, but lacking a certain luxury. The price would be fair if it were positioned as a four-star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast; it offered a good variety and tasted delicious, comparable to the Landis Hotel I stayed at the day before. It had more options but no smoked salmon. Pros: Good for an overnight stay near the airport, with a 25-minute bus ride to the terminal. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was reasonably comfortable, though the glossy duvet cover and sheets felt a bit low-end. Cons: The room facilities are quite old, probably a 15-year-old renovation. There are no power outlets by the bedside, so you have to use the hotel's slow charging device. Light leaks through the top of the curtains because the tracks aren't overlapped. The bathroom fan doesn't have an off button, but luckily, closing the door mostly blocks the sound. I was in a hurry checking in and out, so I didn't take any photos of the hotel. The picture is of a small fish tank on the hotel restaurant table, which was a nice little surprise.
XXander WangA well equipped hotel in a quiet spot in town. Conveniently located off the main road with a great buffet breakfast and dinner. Service was great.
The upkeep of rooms could have been a little better as some amenities were a little worn, such as the carpet and console. Loved the onsen water in the bathtub.
The children appreciated the complementary jelly cups and cookies left for us each day.
