Our Macau trip started off wonderfully from the moment we checked in. The three nights at the hotel and the overall experience were fantastic. The room facilities were luxurious, the view was great, and the food street offered delicious options. The hotel staff were also very helpful; they answered all our questions thoroughly and attentively. A special thanks to Ms. July Chao who checked us in; she introduced the hotel in detail and with great care. Much appreciated, July Chao!
Location: The location is excellent. It's about a five-minute walk to Senado Square, then another three minutes to St. Dominic's Church, and seven minutes more to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Next door is Yaohan department store, and across the street is Macau Square. The central shuttle bus stop is right downstairs. It's a five-minute walk to the old Grand Lisboa, and then another five minutes through an underpass to Wynn.
Facilities: My room type had a small bathroom with only a bathtub for showering. The toilet was behind the door, which made it a bit cramped. The mini-bar fridge offered two drinks, a beer, and a packet of crisps for free. However, only two small bottles of drinking water were provided daily.
Service: During the May Day holiday, they allowed a half-hour late check-out. I booked breakfast at the front desk the night before for MOP 88 per person. The Chinese and Western buffet, though not extensive, was decent.
The first time I visited, I stayed in Taipa. This time, I stayed on the Peninsula. If I visit for a third time and stay on the Peninsula again, I might choose this hotel.
For my trip to Macau, Trip.com recommended the Holiday Inn. Upon arrival, I found the hotel conveniently located on Beijing Street. The front desk staff and lobby manager were all very attentive and welcoming, truly reflecting the high standard of service you'd expect in a tourist city. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and well-designed, and the room service is excellent. During my stay, I reported some noise from the surroundings, and it was addressed promptly. I was very satisfied with their quick response.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, with cultural landmarks such as the Lotus Square, Dr. Ho Yin Park, Macau Polytechnic University, and Beijing Tong Ren Tang all nearby, offering plenty of options for exploration.
Genuinely, I stayed at quite a number of hotels in Macau but this one was my favorite 🤩, the location is perfect, taxis pass by almost every 10 mins, they have a free shuttle bus, the pool area is beautiful, the gym is 24/7, the rooms are clean and beautiful, the service was good but only for some staff members, some staff members seemed a bit arrogant, I remember I called in to ask for some medicine, I know the hotel doesn’t have medicine but little help would have mattered such as helping the guest purchase and I can Pay for the extra help but the only thing they told me was to go to the pharmacy and I didn’t have strength to even walk, I felt like I was going to faint and I didn’t know anyone within Macau, it was only one of the staff members, that over heard my conversation with the other staff and offered me some medicine and even gave me water and kept checking up on me, I really appreciated that so much because I don’t know how I would have left the place without his help, I wish i remembered his name but the medicine was from Philippines so I assume he is from the Philippines. Away from that I remember Charles too, who also had good customer service, overall the hotel is good but other staff members need to pay more attention to service.
The facilities here are incredibly comprehensive, and the concierge service is top-notch. From the moment we stepped out of the car, everyone was so welcoming and guided us every step of the way. They even have a fun check-in game, though our time was a bit too short to complete all the tasks – we'll definitely have to come back for that! The hygiene was impeccable, and the ambiance can only be described as opulent and very British. We ordered breakfast in the hotel, and the service was outstanding; the service fee was absolutely worth it. The breakfast portions were huge; my child and I couldn't even finish it all. The family room was incredibly comfortable, and my child was thrilled with the complimentary small toys. I spent ages choosing a hotel and saw a lot of negative reviews, but after actually staying here, I honestly have no idea where those bad reviews came from. Shopping is super convenient, and there's a free hotel shuttle to other places. They even thoughtfully tell you the shuttle times. The lady who checked us in was exceptionally beautiful and gentle. After we finished the check-in process, she even walked us to the elevator, afraid we might get lost, and introduced us to all the hotel's offerings: where to eat, where to shop, and where to catch the bus for excursions, including the bus schedule. All in all, it was a truly delightful trip. Macau gave us so many surprises, and my only regret is not staying longer. Next time, I'll definitely allocate more time to Macau. It's so clean everywhere and perfect for quietly appreciating your surroundings and unwinding. I've already shared my itinerary with my colleagues at work, and they've decided to follow my route! The hotel environment is excellent, and the bathtub was very clean. After a quick rinse, my child played in it for two hours and had a blast. Both the children's bed and the adult bed were very comfortable, and the soft pillows were great – they even have specific ones for sleeping and for leaning against. As for power outlets, they were all standard mainland China plugs, which was great. I had even bought an adapter, but didn't need it in either Hong Kong or Macau; Hong Kong hotels provide them, but in Macau, you can plug directly in. My stay at The Parisian this time was fantastic, looking forward to the next visit! Because I had to take a ferry back to Shenzhen and wasn't sure how to get there on my first visit, I called the front desk. They transferred me to the concierge, and everyone was incredibly enthusiastic and detailed, better than many apps. All my questions were answered. I called the front desk several times, and they were always so detailed and resolved all my issues. Loved it! Thank you!
Overall, the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau offers a great experience. The rooms are spacious and brand new, with elegant New Chinese-style decor. The garden is also a beautiful spot for photos. The butler service is attentive and responsive, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. Its location is a bit off the beaten path, so transportation primarily relies on the shuttle bus. Check-in can be a bit slow during peak hours. However, it offers good value for money and is highly recommended for a vacation stay.
First off, the room was absolutely massive! In Macau, where space is a premium, the W really isn't shy about giving you room to breathe. We could spread out our suitcases without them getting in the way, and there was a separate lounge area with a super comfy beanbag chair. The bathroom had dual sinks, and the shower was incredibly spacious too. But what really blew me away was the night view from the window! We were on a higher floor, right opposite the bustling Taipa district. When the lights came on at night, it was like the whole city transformed into a dazzling galaxy – the '8' Ferris wheel at Studio City, the Parisian Eiffel Tower... it was all there. Turning off the room lights and sitting by the window, watching the trails of car lights, felt truly magical and made for some amazing photos! And I have to rave about the breakfast! I honestly didn't have high expectations for hotel breakfast, but I was completely won over by the seafood congee. The congee base was incredibly smooth, and they were incredibly generous with the fresh prawns and scallops – I had three bowls! There was also freshly made wonton noodles with perfectly springy bamboo noodles. They even had Portuguese egg tarts and Serradura (sawdust pudding), so breakfast felt as satisfying as an afternoon tea.
1. Convenient transportation: There's a direct shuttle from Gongbei Port to Wynn. 2. Although the hotel is a bit old, the interior decoration is excellent. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are incredibly spacious, a rarity these days. 3. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, the quality is good. I highly recommend the cheese tomatoes – I had three! 4. The hotel is super convenient for shopping at Wynn and also very close to the Grand Lisboa. 5. A hotel with excellent value for money.
Overall, if you're not planning an itinerary with Casiono, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau is a highly cost-effective hotel, making it a top choice for family travelers.
1. Location and Transportation: Located on the southeast side of the Macau Peninsula, it's a 5-minute ride on the Sands shuttle bus from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal (where ferries from Hong Kong dock). It's a 25-minute drive from the airport. Neither Artyzen nor Sands offer airport shuttles, only public buses. You'll need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the bus stop, and it costs 6 MOP per person. The hotel is surrounded by numerous museums and restaurants, which is incredibly convenient; I won't list them all.
2. Hotel Amenities and Service: The soft services are excellent. From the doorman to the front desk and the floor attendants, everyone is very enthusiastic, and communication in Chinese is generally seamless. The hardware is of an old-school five-star standard. The swimming pool is fantastic. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and tidy.
The location is super convenient, with a bus stop downstairs that even has direct routes to the border crossing. Getting around to attractions is easy too, as all bus rides are only 6澳币. I'd recommend visiting the Ruins of St. Paul's early in the morning; it's just a 10-minute walk from here.

AAnonymous UserI've stayed in countless hotels, but the hospitality here truly set a new benchmark. Every single time, they went above and beyond my expectations, warming my heart. For instance, they proactively arranged complimentary car service when I went out, offered an umbrella when it rained, and extended my check-out until 4 PM. These are just some of the many thoughtful details; so much 'proactive' consideration for guests. I felt so much warmth and gratitude, thanks to the wonderful Ms. Kate for her dedication! You genuinely put yourself in the guest's shoes, offering meticulous and attentive service that perfectly encapsulates the essence of 'service.' I wish you continued success in your career! I also felt the shared service philosophy and proactive service awareness within your entire team. Thumbs up to every one of you! 👍👍👍
P.s. Before booking, I saw a review mentioning a renovation smell, which made me slightly worried. However, the air quality during my stay was absolutely fine! 👍 Perhaps it was due to the timing or they had already addressed it. 👍
Looking forward to my next stay ❤️

GGuest UserGenuinely the best hotel that I’ve stayed at, the service they provide is consistently top notch. They truly make you feel comfortable and assisted through your whole stay. I had went there to celebrate my birthday, they provided wine, cake, decor and the nicest view! The staff in the pool are also amazing. I enjoyed my stay so much, money truly well spent andwill be coming again!!

TTuotuoN+1The environment is fantastic, and the rooms are incredibly spacious! It seems like every room has a sea view, including the black sand beach in the distance. The service attitude is excellent too, with friendly, smiling staff. It's a much better experience than hotels of the same price point in Hong Kong. The transportation is also very convenient. Unfortunately, my trip was a bit rushed this time, so I didn't get to try the outdoor pool. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Macau!
SSherry_icecyI had such a wonderful stay at Studio City Macau and it became one of the most memorable parts of my trip. I was so happy and touched that the hotel prepared a room with an Eiffel Tower view exactly as I requested. They also surprised us with a birthday cake and beautiful balloon decorations because I mentioned that I would be celebrating an early birthday with my mother. It made the experience feel extra special and thoughtful.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I loved that the air conditioning could be adjusted easily to the perfect temperature. The bathroom amenities were excellent quality, and the minibar was refilled daily. The staff were also very kind and helpful throughout our stay. When I asked about where to find good egg tarts inside the building, the staff gave great recommendations and directions.
One small downside was that the hotel shuttle bus stop was quite far from the main lobby — around a 300-meter walk toward the back of the building. However, everything else about the stay was amazing, so it still felt like a perfect and relaxing getaway. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future.
