The front desk staff were lovely and friendly, and they upgraded our room. The room was clean and tidy, well-designed, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The mattress and bedding were soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. The hotel's location is superb, with delicious restaurants just a short 100-200 meter walk away, especially Ruxuan Congee Shop and Sullivan's Portuguese Restaurant, both of which are excellent. The hotel staff are very dedicated and responsible. When leaving the hotel, there's a shuttle bus service to Gongbei Port. From Friday to Sunday, there's a shuttle bus running every 20 minutes between the hotel and the Parisian and Londoner hotels, which is incredibly convenient. We'll definitely choose Grand Emperor Hotel again for our future trips to Macau.

The Venetian Macao Stay: An Unexpectedly Luxurious Trip My stay in the Venetian Macao's Luxury Royale Suite was filled with surprises, and I absolutely have to write a glowing review to recommend it to everyone! 【Room: Immersive European Luxury】 The moment I opened the door, I was captivated by the opulent, vintage palace style! Gilded decorations and quality furniture, coupled with warm lighting, made it feel like living in a European noble's residence~ - The space is incredibly spacious, with a well-designed suite layout. The living area, bedroom, and bathroom are clearly separated, so it never felt crowded even with friends over; - The bedding was so soft I could 'sink in and never want to get up.' I slept for one night and surprisingly had no back or neck pain (a huge plus for someone with neck issues like me!); - Attention to hygiene was top-notch: the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, high-end toiletries, and towels so fluffy they could 'bounce off.' Not a speck of dust could be found even in the corners – a dream for anyone with OCD. 【Amenities: All Your Food, Drink, and Fun Needs Covered】 At the Venetian, the main draw is being able to 'have a blast without even leaving the premises': - The Gondola ride is a must-try! Sitting in the swaying boat, listening to the gondolier hum Italian folk songs, and passing by European-style buildings along the 'man-made canal' truly makes you feel like you're in Venice for a moment; - Shop 'til you drop at the mall: home to luxury brands like LV and Gucci. When you get tired, you can pop into a cha chaan teng for a bowl of noodles or head to a trendy café for some industrial-chic photos; - The recreational facilities are amazing: the heated pool offers spectacular views (you can swim while admiring the Macao Tower at night), the gym has more equipment than a personal training studio, and even the aromatherapy scents in the spa area are incredibly therapeutic~ 【Location: Prime Macao Buffs Aplenty】 The hotel is located in the heart of the Macao Peninsula, with incredibly convenient transportation: - It's a 10-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. After sightseeing, you can also check out the colorful houses on Love Lane nearby; - A 5-minute taxi ride to the Grand Lisboa/Wynn Palace if you're in the mood for some gambling; - Surrounded by a plethora of food options: old-school pork chop buns, authentic Portuguese cuisine, popular ice cream parlors... You can easily sample all of Macao's flavors on foot~ From hardware to service, from experience to location, The Venetian Macao has ingrained 'high-end vacation vibes' into every single detail! I'll definitely be back for a second visit next time I'm in Macao~ I genuinely recommend it to all travelers seeking quality and a sense of occasion!

I’m a local staying here for post-surgery recovery, extended my stay two times. Reception is decent and helpful. The Japanese restaurant on ground floor is really good and so is the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. I’d say give it a try if you’re staying there, the price is average, totally not overpriced for being inside a hotel. The room soundproof is terrible, you’re out of luck if other guests staying in rooms surrounding you talk super loud or have loud kids. You can also clearly hear conversations outside the hallway. You can also hear the water pipe noises whenever people staying upstairs/downstairs shower. Not the most serene environment. Amenities are alright, the provided shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are a bit small so you’d constantly have to ask for refills for longer stays. The bath tub is bigger than usual ones so that’s a good thing but not a fan of the type of shower head they chose, and the tube is a bit short too but there’s an overhead if needed. I wouldn’t say the location is convenient for tourists as there is nothing surrounding the hotel but they do provide scheduled shuttle buses to get round town and to some hotspots. The walk to the nearest light rail station is around 12-18min (depending on your pace) on foot.

As a stickler for details, I was very satisfied! The toiletries in the room were of excellent quality, the water pressure in the bathroom was strong, and the hot water came on quickly. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted great. The best part was when the front desk lady proactively upgraded my room type – that was incredibly thoughtful!

My recent stay at the Sofitel Ponte 16 in Macau was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, the hotel’s sophisticated French-inspired design and warm hospitality set the tone for a truly memorable experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, always greeting me with genuine smiles and going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The rooms are stylishly appointed, blending modern luxury with classic charm. My room boasted stunning views of the Inner Harbour, and the plush bedding made for restful nights after long days of exploring. The bathroom was equally impressive—spacious, modern, and stocked with premium Lanvin toiletries. One of the highlights of staying here is the hotel’s prime location. Sofitel Ponte 16 is just a short walk from the iconic Ruins of St. Paul, making it perfect for history buffs and culture lovers. You can stroll along the scenic waterfront promenade and reach the ruins in under 10 minutes—it’s that convenient! After visiting this UNESCO World Heritage site, returning to the tranquility and elegance of the hotel felt like stepping into a peaceful retreat. Dining at the hotel was also a treat. Whether enjoying a refined meal at Le Chinois or sipping cocktails by the pool, every culinary experience was top-notch. The breakfast spread was particularly delightful, offering both international favorites and local Macanese specialties. In summary, Sofitel Ponte 16 offers the perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and culture. Its unbeatable location near the Ruins of St. Paul, combined with world-class service and amenities, makes it a standout choice for any traveler visiting Macau. I can’t wait to return!

Booked this place online based on a friend's recommendation, and honestly, it's great value for money. There are tons of good restaurants nearby, and it's really close to Grand Lisboa, MGM, and Wynn. We saw the Wynn's Tree of Prosperity, checked out the exhibition at MGM, and even enjoyed some free milk tea. We also tried the geoduck hotpot at Sun Cheong City. The only downside is the hotel's air conditioning – it's freezing! The whole place feels like a giant freezer. It was just too cold. I have no idea why they keep it so arctic.

The free mini-bar snacks and drinks were amazing! There were so many delicious treats, and we kept refilling them for the kids, and the staff remained incredibly enthusiastic. Even though it was Chinese New Year and very busy, we still got a room with a great view. I absolutely loved the Toy Story themed tote bag – my child adored it. This hotel truly excels in creating a positive and memorable experience, especially for children. The rooms are also spacious.

Had a fantastic stay! We were so lucky to have such a wonderful cleaning lady. She was responsible for our room (06928) for all four nights and was incredibly warm and friendly. Knowing we had two kids, she proactively gave us extra water bottles and tissues, just in case we ran out. Her dedication to her job was truly impressive; she would meticulously check each towel for stains before giving it to us. Even when I told her the bathroom didn't need cleaning, she'd spot dirty areas and kindly ask if we'd like her to clean them. I've never encountered such an exceptional cleaning staff member – so diligent and genuinely caring towards guests. I don't know her name, but she made our stay so much better. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, which made the kids very happy. The hotel also has a heated swimming pool, and on the second floor, there's a Yaohan department store and a food court, making it incredibly convenient. Even if we didn't go out, we could easily spend an entire day enjoying the hotel amenities with the kids.

We requested a smoking room, but there was hardly any lingering smell, which was great. We stayed on the 17th floor, and the breakfast included a fantastic lobster buffet – truly all-you-can-eat! Downstairs, you can go shopping, and it's quite close to Wynn Palace. To get to Senado Square, there's no shuttle, so you'll need to take a taxi or other transportation. We paid 80 MOP for a taxi there. On the way back, we took a shuttle to another hotel and then walked the rest of the way. Overall, the breakfast offers much better value for money than the local cha chaan tengs, so it's definitely worth trying.

Honestly, this stay, probably due to the Chinese New Year approaching and increased crowds, wasn't quite as good as my last visit in terms of service. However, the Thai restaurant and the fitness center still maintained their excellent service standards and quality. On that note, I highly recommend the Thai restaurant's lunch special: 388 for two people, which is incredibly good value for money. You get to try all their signature dishes. I remember paying over 800 for dinner with a friend last time, so this deal is fantastic! My recurring issue, though, is the bathroom. The shower hose was moldy, the soap dish was moldy, and there was hair on the towel (a long hair, and I have short hair, by the way). Also, the hotel recently changed their toiletries. The body lotion is now the same tiny one found at the Grand Coloane Resort (part of the Artyzen Group). While the shower gel and other items are an upgrade, could the body lotion please be improved? Finally, a small personal wish: last time, after mentioning it was a repeat stay, I received complimentary welcome fruit, but not this time, haha. It would be nice to have little surprises upon check-in! To sum up: It was a decent stay, with attentive service. The hardware is a bit outdated, but the aesthetics are top-notch. It's rare to find a hotel with such unique style and design amidst the glitzy Macau, haha.

Yyu RebeccaThe room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. I stayed in the Banyan Tree Tower on a high floor, and there were no strange odors. I booked a Cotai View room, and the service was excellent. Eating and shopping downstairs were incredibly convenient. On check-in day, I arrived around 3 PM. They initially said the view room would take 1-2 hours, so I planned to store my luggage and go out. However, after a quick restroom break, when I returned to drop off my bags, the front desk told me a room was already available. Overall, I was very satisfied. The second floor has the famous Lord Stow's Bakery (Andrew's Egg Tarts), and there was no queue. On the ground floor near the elevators, there's a Jade Restaurant, where the beef noodles were exceptionally delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. Checking out was a breeze; I just handed the card to the front desk staff in the lobby and left. Getting a taxi outside was also very easy. It's super convenient to visit the Londoner and Parisian hotels for night views and photos – just a short walk away. I wasn't offered a complimentary suite upgrade; they said it would cost an extra 500 MOP per night, which I declined as the view room was perfectly fine. Walking from the ground floor towards the food court area, you can catch the changing of the guards performance at The Londoner. Tim Ho Wan (添好运) Hong Kong-style dim sum is also nearby; it's very tasty but gets crowded, so you'll need to get a number and wait in line.

GGuest UserI booked two rooms and left a note requesting them to be next to each other. The front desk staff actually gave us adjoining rooms on the 37th floor, which was great. I think the main draw of this hotel is the 'novelty factor,' and it definitely delivered. Everything in the minibar was complimentary except for the hard liquor, which was a nice touch. We ended up leaving a lot of it untouched... The toiletries in the bathroom were sufficient and easy to use. The bathtub, though seemingly irregularly shaped, was actually quite spacious. Soundproofing was also good; it was very quiet at night. The only minor issue was regarding breakfast. When booking, I couldn't clearly tell if it was custom delivered to the room or a buffet, as it wasn't clearly marked on Trip.com. This led to a lot of discussion at the front desk. The in-room breakfast quality was good, and you could select items and delivery times on an iPad, but it naturally couldn't compare to the variety of a buffet. The buffet required an additional payment of around 368 per person, so it depends on individual preference. Everything else was great. The price from Trip.com was basically the lowest available. It's definitely worth experiencing.

YYidanThis hotel was absolutely perfect for my child and me while attending a concert at the Galaxy Arena! It's just a few minutes' walk directly to the venue, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The concierge service was warm and attentive, and the front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, spoke so softly and kindly, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. After the concert, when I brought my child back to the room, we found it had already been meticulously tidied up – such a thoughtful touch! The hotel offers express check-out, saving us time when leaving. The beds were super comfortable for a good night's sleep, and there's a huge variety of food options downstairs. Plus, there's a direct passage to the LRT station, making our return to Hengqin Port in Zhuhai exceptionally easy.
