Checking in at the Green Mountain Indigo Hotel was incredibly relaxing! Its prime mountain location offered a cool and pleasant escape from the heat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with stylish decor incorporating local elements. The food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and generous portions, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The viewpoint was within walking distance, and the surrounding area was convenient for sightseeing and hiking. Cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding was comfortable and sleep-inducing, and the facilities were well-maintained. It was a fantastic family vacation experience, tranquil and relaxing, with excellent value for money. Booking through Ctrip was super convenient, and I would definitely book again!

Our stay at Anantara was okay but nothing more. To start with something positive, the staff was really friendly and attentive which was great! Breakfast was outstanding as well and the architecture od the hotel was beautiful. Other things, however, were simply not good enough for the price you pay. Firstly, no one was at the entrance to greet us when we arrived with our car. We had to find the parking and get back to the hotel ourselves which is definitely not standard for a 5-star hotel. At check-in, they just assumed that my name (Alexandra) is a male name and didn‘t even talk to me, just to my partner. I would expect for them to get that this is a female name or just ask who uf us this is. The welcome was overall very hectic, the guy who showed us to our room was friendly, but extremely stressed and rushed. There are no showers at the pool which is not very hygenic. In the evening at the bar, they served the red wine way too warm. Also, you never, ever serve 250ml of wine all in one glass. In the same bar, they played really loud party music which was such a pity and quite inappropriate and somehow destroyed the ambiance. How about some discreet music such as jazz, classical music etc. which fits the vibe of the scenery/mood way better? Moving on to our room, the shelf in the shower where you can put your shampoo bottles was broken and losely fixed. Overall, a lot of things were not 5-star hotel like and disappointed us. If you pay $700 for one night, you can expect more. We would not visit again.

The location of IntercityHotel Nizwa is great, situated just off the highway leading into the Nizwa city area. It is located right beside a large mall on one side and a Lulu Hypermarket on the other. The hypermarket features a McDonald's, which was the only fast food outlet open for drive-through at 11am during Ramadan.
Parking is plentiful in front of the hotel. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and we were granted a late check-out upon request. The room is standard but adequate, with no noise issues. Both the shower pressure and water temperature were satisfactory. The air conditioning also worked well. The room that we stayed in has an interesting map of the Nizwa region on the wall behind the bed, which was a nice detail. Bottled water is provided and topped up promptly upon request. This hotel is a good choice for an overnight stay in Nizwa.

The hotel is located in a somewhat remote area, and it's clearly an old-fashioned resort hotel. The service was excellent; I called ahead to arrange early check-in, and the hotel cooperated smoothly. The breakfast was also good, but the facilities were a bit outdated, and the shower faucets were rusty.

Definitely a hotel worth a special trip. You need to drive a four-wheel drive to get there, and there are many curves along the way. Valleys, cliffs, sunrises, sunsets, stargazing, all kinds of scenery are top-notch. The restaurant is also good. The chef’s Hunan steamed fish with chopped pepper is something he learned from the Hunanese.

LiumengxuanThe hotel is excellent. The architectural style makes you feel as if you're in the Swiss mountains 🇨🇭. It's very convenient for getting around, and there's plenty of parking. It's just a five-minute walk to the mosque, Nizwa Souq, and Nizwa Fort.
The service is top-notch. The front desk staff were very patient and explained all the hotel's amenities. They also invited guests to join the hotel's membership club, which offers a 20% discount on every stay and purchase.
Facilities: The hotel consists of three buildings, with separate areas for men and women. The gym has floor-to-ceiling windows, making for a perfect workout experience 🏋️. I booked a special offer room and, to my surprise, it even included a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The decor is simple, stylish, and highly functional. The hotel also has a lovely fragrance.
Service: Room service was excellent! The staff thoughtfully helped me with my luggage, which I really appreciated ❤️.
Highly recommend bringing family and friends for a gathering here!
