Hotels With Spa in Guangxi, China

After a great time in Yangshuo, I stayed one night in Guilin and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room had a really artistic vibe. After checking in, I asked the smart speaker to play some light music and then relaxed on the picturesque balcony. It relieved a good chunk of my fatigue. Plus, the mountain view opposite the balcony and the blue swimming pool below were incredibly photogenic. Oh, and the bed was super huge, I think it was 2.4 meters! You could lie any which way you wanted. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they escorted us to our room and introduced everything along the way. The staff at the front desk were all very gentle and refined, perfectly matching the hotel's name, 'Poetry and Faraway Places'. Excellent.

The room was quite spacious with a great view (p1). The rooftop observation deck was also really nice (p3-6). The room even came with disposable bath bags and rose petals, so after a day of exploring, a relaxing bath before bed was incredibly comfortable. What's more, the hotel has an elevator, and the front desk offers ticket booking and car rental services, which is very convenient. Before we left, they even gave us two extra bottles of water because they were worried we might be thirsty – very thoughtful!

Best breakfast in China! Xiaoming was very helpful with anything we needed and very generous. There are e-scooters to use, which you really need. Guilin traffic is not for the feint heated though and this is certainly not the place to learn to ride an old e-scooter. At first I wondered why I had booked a place so far out of town but in the end, with the scooter it didn't really matter. The room has seen better days and the lack of ventilation means high humidity from the shower mist, meaning sweaty nights, which isn't good. Didn't like the fact the music was left on ALL night below in the breakfast room as you can hear it in the room!

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, with great natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound night's sleep. The facilities were comprehensive, hot water was consistent, and the soundproofing was also quite good. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient and quick. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit, genuinely recommended!

The hotel's location by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes is perfect – it's peaceful yet central. My room was window-facing, but it wasn't noisy at all. I booked a queen room and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a super king room. Upon entering, I was greeted by a lovely green view, which was such a delightful surprise. The hotel is relatively new, clean, and tidy, with great amenities like a smart assistant (XiaoDu), an electric bidet toilet, a heated towel rack, and a direct drinking water dispenser – fantastic value for money! The service was also very thoughtful; during my two-night stay, a butler handled my laundry daily. The downstairs restaurant served delicious food too. All in all, I was very satisfied with this trip; it definitely enhanced my Guilin experience.

The hotel has a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient! The facilities are new, the service is warm, and the hygiene is excellent. The bedding is soft like clouds. The free large parking lot is a thoughtful touch, and the buffet breakfast offers incredible value for money. Highly recommend!!!

The room was very clean, and the hotel staff were all really friendly, especially the butler who was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The buffet breakfast from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM offered plenty of time and a good selection of food. This is definitely the top choice when visiting Guilin!

This stay was extremely satisfying! Despite the large crowds during the May Day holiday, the hotel's overall cleanliness was exceptional; the entire room was spotless. The room was spacious and bright, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance upon entering. The natural light was excellent; I even woke up to sunrise! 🌅 The staff were also very friendly and attentive. It's close to the station and offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended!

Visited Guilin in March. This hotel is a quiet oasis in the bustling city, just a kilometer from Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area. You can walk there, but the hotel itself avoids all the noise and crowds of that area. We enjoyed a prime lake view room with stunning views of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes right outside our window. The room also came with a bathtub, and they even provided bath bags and toilet seat covers, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at the HeShe hotel . From the moment we arrived we were treated with such warmth and kindness. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable . We had the family suite which overlooked the lake and the karst mountains . The view from our room was so serene and beautiful. During our stay we visited the Reed flute cave which is a short walk from the hotel - thank you Ginny for walking us to the cave . We also had a tea ceremony with Jing - with delicious tea and snacks . Hotel staff also arranged a Chinese calligraphy lesson with Master Wu for us . We thoroughly enjoyed our lesson . Melody, also booked us on an adventurous day out taking the boat to Yangshuo and then onto the Ruyi peak . A special thank you to Melody who went out of her way to help get my handbag with passport in it returned to me after I had forgotten it on the boat to Yangshuo . . I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful, serene ,location but which still has easy access to other areas .
