A friend recommended Qilou. I stayed in this hotel for one night. I booked a river view room. The view was not so beautiful because it was raining. The breakfast was ordinary. The dinner was well cooked and reasonably priced. The taste was good. It was not a star hotel. It was a bit outrageous to charge a 10% service fee. Tea was also required. It was charged even if I didn't order it. I took a bath in the bathtub in the room at night to eliminate fatigue. As a result, the bathtub was leaking. I almost slipped. I couldn't see clearly that there was water on the tiles. I slipped and saw that it was all water. The aunt came to clean it quickly because it was too late and refused to repair it. I hope the hotel will repair the room in time. The attitude of the waiters is good.

This river-view hotel truly exceeded our expectations! The facilities are new, and all amenities are fully stocked, showing that it's well-maintained. We felt completely at ease regarding cleanliness; the room was spotless, fresh, and odor-free, making our stay very comfortable. The breakfast selection was extensive, with a good balance of meat and vegetables, and the taste was fantastic – both adults and kids enjoyed it immensely. Our favorite part was the river view; opening the window to see the river was so therapeutic. Plus, it's just a short walk to the riverside scenic area, perfect for strolls, sightseeing, or taking the kids out. The service throughout our stay was attentive and thoughtful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

Very large hotel, feels like thousands of rooms in a maze-like configuration in a mouse hotel. Breakfast is cheap enough, across from rail station so that’s why most people book this hotel I suppose.

Located opposite a pretty lake, nice for a walk, the hotel is good for leisure and business travellers. The rooms are large and well equipped. The shower was particularly nice and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Fortunately I was with my Chinese speaking partner otherwise check in may have been a longer process. The breakfast was also fine but more orientated to local audience - albeit there is bread, fruit, eggs. Coffee at breakfast is not so good.

This hotel is perfect for family trips with kids; if you're visiting Guilin with children, you absolutely shouldn't miss it. **Location**: Conveniently located in Guilin city center, just two or three kilometers from Guilin Station—a few minutes by taxi. It's also only about 1 kilometer from Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area and Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street. **Facilities**: We stayed on the family-themed floor with our kids. The room was spacious and featured bunk beds with a slide, a kids' table, a small tent, a rocking horse, and a large bathtub—perfect for soaking away the day's fatigue. There's also a kids' play area in the hallway, which was a huge hit; our child could play there all day and didn't want to leave! **Breakfast**: Breakfast is served on the 9th floor. It's extensive, offering Guilin rice noodles, mini wontons, Guilin oil tea, and a wide variety of other dishes—everything you could wish for. **Service**: The front desk staff provided excellent service, helping us with our luggage. They even assisted with laundry, washing and drying our clothes in the washing machine and then delivering them back to our room. You don't have to worry about a thing when you stay here. **Environment**: The 9th floor has a pool and an observation deck that's great for photos. There's a large frame that makes every shot look like a masterpiece of a thousand miles of rivers and mountains. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Guilin.

I looked for a long time on Ctrip when I came to Baise for tourism and finally chose the Wyndham Executive Twin Room. However, except for the floor of the room, everything else seemed to be the same as the ordinary twin room. There was no executive courtesy or anything like that. I was a little confused. The hygiene looked good, and the carpet was vacuumed. The bed was also very comfortable, the air conditioner was not noisy, and the filter was also cleaned. But there were stains on the quilt. . . There were insects in the room, and they ran too fast to see what they were. Overall, it was still ok to stay. In addition, the Sanmen Haiheshe Gengchuan Cave is worth visiting.

If you're taking a Li River cruise, this is the place to stay! The location is fantastic! It's about 30 meters from the pier entrance, so you can completely ignore those hawkers and electric scooter rentals. The popular Länsheng Cafe is also right across the street, and West Street is just a short walk around the corner! It's so convenient for dining and shopping! The hotel balcony view is also quite good. For food: The luosiji (river snail chicken) downstairs is delicious! The Master Chef Beer Fish is also great, and the temporary dining spot for Wangjianglou is right downstairs too! Their souvenirs are excellent; you can take home the osmanthus cakes, osmanthus luohan guo tea, kumquat cakes, and passion fruit cakes. Otherwise, shipping fees can be a bit pricey! Also, the Taohua Duoduo travel photography and makeup studio within the hotel is wonderful! The costumes are clean, and the photo shoot process was excellent. I hope the hotel can partner with them to offer some discount coupons!

The service was impeccable! This hotel truly made us feel at home. The decor style is somewhat similar to Banyan Tree. Every staff member, including the cleaning aunties, would greet guests warmly. We had such a happy stay in Guilin. The room was very clean, and all the toiletries were excellent. I even made sure to take pictures of the breakfast. When we left, they gave us a small gift, and since we were self-driving, they escorted us to our car and waved us goodbye. Honestly, this level of service and quality is even better than what you find in Shanghai. Highly, highly recommend!

If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

We set off from Yangjiang on July 1st and traveled to Beihai, Guangxi, Detian Waterfall, Nanning, and Liuzhou. We arrived at Yulin on the 5th as our last stop. I searched several hotels on Ctrip and my eyes lit up when I saw the Yulin Mengyuan Hotel. It was a good value for money and I booked it right away. In 2006, my family and I also went to Beihai to play. We also passed through Yulin when we came back and stayed here for one night. Yuntian Palace was not open at that time, so I just took a look at the door and took a photo. So besides eating dog meat, the main purpose of revisiting the old place this time is to visit Yuntian Palace. When we arrived at the door of the hotel, we were immediately greeted by a greeter who carried our luggage and enthusiastically guided us to drive to the underground parking lot and park. We didn't order breakfast originally, but after talking to the front desk, we were given free breakfast coupons. When we got to the room, we were quite satisfied with all the facilities. In the evening, we bought various barbecues and beer drinks and started a party in the room. A group of six of us booked three rooms in total, and everyone was quite satisfied. When I went back to bed to rest, I found a hair on one of the pillows. I don't know if I didn't change it or if I didn't see it. But since it was already past 12 o'clock, I didn't tell the front desk. I just didn't use that pillow. . Breakfast is on the rooftop of the sixth floor. The garden scenery is nice and there are many varieties of breakfast. Overall, Yulin Mengyuan Hotel has good value for money. Next time we come, we will book a private room with two bedrooms and two living rooms. The space inside is larger, which is very suitable for family and friends to travel.
