BAH is literally at the end of one of the runways which I thought would be an issue from hearing planes take off from my room - it was not an issue at all. Look, for the money this hotel is fine. It's not the Ritz-Carlton. It is a clean hotel, with decently appointed rooms, comfortable bed and no weird smells in the room. Would I stay there again? 100%.

Great! The room was clean and tidy, and for this price in Manhattan, it's a real bargain. The location is excellent too, right next to the subway station. The only minor issue was the high floor, which meant a bit of a wait for the elevator, but overall, I highly recommend it.

The room was quite spacious, but my suitcase ended up blocking the door when placed near the entrance. The air conditioning only had hot/cold settings and couldn't be adjusted, and it was quite noisy and drying. The closet for hanging clothes was tiny; a single winter down jacket filled it completely. The duvet was very thin, and the quality didn't seem great. The room didn't provide toothbrushes or slippers, but there was shower gel and shampoo. The hairdryer stopped working on the third day after two days of use. The biggest issue was the elevators; for 36 floors with at least 8 rooms per floor, there were only two elevators. Waiting for 10 minutes to go down in the morning was common. One day, one of them broke down, and I waited for half an hour!

The room was very nice for the money and the staff were superb in answering my questions. A staff member was outstanding in offering to lend an ice scrapper to scrap off ice on my car when I forgot to bring one. I would definitely stay at this location the next time I'm travelling the same route.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in downtown. While not as upscale as Marriott hotels in China, it's just across the street from the Hudson River, a 5-minute walk. Strolling along the river at night offers fantastic views, and it's a popular spot for runners in the morning, with many locals jogging. It's also very close to the World Trade Center and Wall Street, both a 5-minute walk away. The WTC subway station is right next door, making transportation very convenient. Typically, hotels in New York don't include breakfast. Adding breakfast for two would cost an extra 275 RMB, and it's not a buffet – just a simple American breakfast, which isn't as good as what you'd find at a fast-food joint. Additionally, the hotel has a mandatory daily charge of 40 RMB, which they partially refund with a 20 RMB credit you can use at the restaurant (I'm not sure if other hotels have this policy).

Facilities: Nice room, relatively large, advanced facilities Sanitation: OK Environment: OK Service: Good The gym is also good, but it faces the parking lot directly, with large windows, so it is easy to see people working out. The water is only ice water. It is still a distance from the waterfall park, and it takes a long time to walk

GGuest UserI think the main advantage of this accommodation is that it is reasonably priced for the location. The space behind the first-floor lobby is also quite charming. The bed was comfortable, and the internet worked well overall, although the connection for the Wi-Fi and TV occasionally cut out. There was no refrigerator, but ice was easy to access, so this was not a major issue for a short stay. That said, there were also some downsides. First, the front desk staff were generally not very friendly and seemed defensive when responding to guest requests. I understand that they may have been tired due to the heavy snowstorm in New York at the time, but I still felt uncomfortable with the way my request was dismissed without much consideration, even though I was willing to pay extra if needed. Second, the room was very cold. I was told this may have been because it was a corner room. After I requested additional heating, the situation improved. Third, the bathtub would only fill halfway. It seemed to be an issue with the stopper, and although I was able to fix it myself, it was still inconvenient.

GGuest UserHotel is in an excellent location but checking in was a nightmare had to queue for over an hour. The lift system is atrocious. The system gives you a lift for your floor and then allocates that lift to everyone else. It takes ages for it to come and then everyone cannot get into the one lift and you start all over again. Could be waiting 30 mins plus for a lift. Everyone complaining about the lifts and sating that it’s the worst hotel because of it.

MMs. ShaniquaOmgosh ... hotel was really nice! Breakfast was excellent and it lasted til 11a, which is pretty awesome for those that like to sleep late. So many options (hot, cold and dry). They offer bacon, sausage, scrambled/cold boiled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Whole fruit (apples and bananas), sliced fruit (melons and pineapples). Cold and hot cereal (oatmeal). Yogurt and granola. You can make your own waffles or pancakes (such a cool machine). Make your own toast and/or select from many pastries or muffins available. So many options! You can even place an order vs. eating from the buffet. They also allow carry-out and to-go boxes. Drink options at the buffet include: coffee, O.J. and apple juice. PLEASE NOTE: There's a separate fee for breakfast if not selected when booking. Having said this, the hotel does not have microwaves in the room, just a fridge. There are microwaves located on each floor though (along w/ vending machines -both are in same location). Our room was spotless and absolutely spacious (no deviation from website)! We arrived way beyond check-in and did call once we knew we'd arrive later than expected. Spoke with front desk staff who assured everything would be OK, only to arrive and find that our room (which was already paid in full) had been given away. The hotel was only able to provide us a King and a rollaway bed. Of course we were disappointed, but the next morning the hotel Mgr. made everything right. Having said that, the rollaway bed is THE HARDEST THING EVER. We bring our own everything (e.g. bedding, cleaning supplies, etc.) so we were able to make it work and make it comfortable. So much so, we'd chosen to not to be moved to the room we'd originally booked. It rained our entire stay which is what caused us to arrive late in the first place (that's a whole 'notha story). Anyway, the hotel had a few small trash bins about the lobby catching leaks here and there, but that didn't stop anything. I barely even noticed. Had I not been recording how beautiful the hotel was inside, I would've never noticed. Parking is $30/day, it's NYC what do you expect? 🤭 There's also parking on the street if you can get spot. Careful though, NYC parking signs can cause confusion for those not familiar with the City's play on words. All in all, this was great stay for us and I'd certainly stay again. Oh, I forgot to mention -I did! Yes, I extended our stay another night because the hotel and location was exceptional! p.s. they also offer a seated bar area. Overall: 10/10✨️

HHarpoprahBe careful about their hidden cost, everyday you need to pay around US$50 for their all access fees(lounge, roof top, gym) which is mandatory! It is not indicated in the booking so I feel cheated that I have to pay for such fees which amount up to US$150 for my 3 nights there. And did I mention you have to carry all your luggages by yourself which I had to push the luggage trolley myself! Amazing location but I will not go there again!

GGuest UserThis hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the subway station. It's incredibly convenient to get anywhere by metro. On the downside, the facilities are quite old; for example, the bathtub tends to pool water when you shower. There's also a central train station nearby with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

JJanaElgThis is your no frills place for a place to lay your head. It was relatively clean, had all the necessary amenities, adequate breakfast, housekeeping. I would definitely stay here again. It gets the job done a peaceful rest without breaking the bank. The room had a slight odor not sure what it was but maybe they should do a deep clean to all the rooms and bathrooms. It could be just the one I was in. The toilet seat wasn’t cleaned that well but I survived.

MMillerBobThis stay was not what I would call good... It was in fact a poor experience. By this I mean. I arrived at 3.50pm to get checked into a room that I was informed would be ready for check in at 3pm... The room was not ready, and i was told they would try to have it ready in 20-25 mins. I explained that that was not acceptable. I was told I could wait in the lobby area...I again explained that that was not acceptable. Another employee jumped in to say, I could sit in the lobby. Now I am irritated. I explained in more detail that I could not very well change in the lobby, being that I had to change and get to a wedding in Yonkers for 5.30...He then started to challenge me. Started telling me how he didn't like the tone of my voice. I then dismissed him and suggested he move away and let me deal with the situation with the desk clerk...who by the way was VERY, VERY, helpful, and whom I had no issues with, because she was doing everything she could to accommodate. The real problem was with the cleaning crew and their supervisor , who kept telling her the wrong things. I even offered for them to allow me to change, and then they could have the room to complete getting it ready. They told her to tell me that it wasn't protocol for me to do that. To which I responded that it wasn't protocol to not have the room ready. At this time the desk associate, Aaliyah, who as I said was very helpful, and who I had NO ISSUES with, and she knew that, suggested that I would be reimbursed 50% for all the stress that I encountered, and gave me the room key to allow me and my wife to change and be on our way. This is where I say common sense made more sense than ”protocol”. So my review will be....Great job handling a difficult situation by the desk associate, Aaliyah... Poor job by the room ready crew. And a terrible job by the associate who decided to challenge me in what was a difficult situation, instead of finding a way to help. 5 STARS for Aaliyah 1 STAR for Cleaning Crew (-0) for associate.

GGigiyahThe room was quite clean! The bedding had a strong disinfectant smell, so I guess it was clean. Parking was also convenient, right in the basement, but it cost extra. The front desk service was a bit cold. However, several breakfast dishes were gone before 9 AM, even though breakfast was supposed to end at 9:30 AM. There wasn't much to begin with, so having only a few items left made it too monotonous. At this price, it felt a bit overpriced.
