The room is clean, quite spacious in a Japanese standard (I stayed with the one in Tokyo in the same group and this is much better) sadly they don’t have onsen or public bath which is a bit disappointing. But the convenience of locating exactly next to the JR station is superb! Before you check in you can actually chill at the lounge with free drinks and nice view. quite relaxing with a good view of the Sendai city.
This hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from JR Sendai Station, or just one subway stop away. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, and communication in English was seamless. You need your key card to operate the elevator, which adds an extra layer of security. The room was surprisingly spacious for a business hotel, with new furnishings and a large bathroom. It even had a bay window, a small sofa, and a desk – truly a pleasant surprise! The bed was also very comfortable.
On the ground floor, you can pick up various amenities, including DHC cleansing oil and skincare products, and even bath salts and mouthwash.
There's a convenience store and McDonald's right outside the hotel, making dining very convenient. Many bus routes stop right outside, and there's also a highway bus terminal nearby, which makes getting to other places very easy.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Sendai.
I forgot to snap a picture of the room.
It’s the nicest hotel I have stayed in Japan for the price I paid.
The hotel’s bed is slightly fixed higher to allow storage of luggages. This is very convenient for travellers with larger luggage. We had two 30mins luggage and had no problem roaming around the room.
The amenities provided here is of better quality as well. Feels nice to the skin.
It was New Year’s Eve yesterday and the hotel prepared soba noodle for everyone. Felt so warm after a long chilly day in Sendai!
Overall. Great stay!
Everyone especially cleaning workers polite & helpful. Room small but locution great & toilet well equipped & clean. Lots of restaurants around. The local market nearby is a must-go. One minus though, counter staff can't easily understand our requests. Sendai is a great place but English is not a common tool for communication.
The hotel is quite nice, about a 10-minute walk from the station, which is convenient for shopping. Mitsui Department Store is nearby, just across the street. The hotel has a large public bath, which is great for a relaxing soak after a day out. Just try to avoid peak hours.
The room is big enough to even change my suitcase from broken one to a new one. I like having bamboo baskets for me to carry thing to the onsen. It is very nice to have sauna, one indoor onsen, one outdoor onsen and a cold onsen. I was happy to have an ice-cream after onsen and can have a small bowl of ramen for free.
Room is quite big and comfortable, beautiful lobby.
The room had double-layered curtains with sheer drapes, which was a very thoughtful touch. Even when the morning sunlight was bright, it didn’t feel harsh. The only pity was that we didn’t get to try the hotel breakfast this time—hopefully, we can enjoy it on my next visit.
It’s a hotel that makes me want to come back again~
The location is great, right in a shopping street, about a 15-minute walk from the station. There are plenty of shops nearby, making it very convenient for dining and other needs. The hotel uses a self-service check-in and check-out system at the front desk, and the overall experience was excellent. The room I booked this time was over 30 square meters, which is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel and offers great value for money. The facilities are also relatively new. I'm very satisfied with my stay.
Wow! Everything was nice here! The location was good, close to the station. The amenities were remarkable and the b'fast buffet sets the standard!
I will highly recommend this Koko Hotel and would be more than satisfied to stay again!

MMike from CaliforniaWould definitely stay here again after spending 4 nights here.
Seems to be a new hotel in a good location in Sendai. It’s less than a ten minute walk from Sendai Station, it’s located even closer to the Subway, just 1 block from shopping arcade, and a few blocks from the Asaiichi market.
Hotel room was very spacious for 3 including a 1 year old. Our room was on the 11th floor with a view of the next buildings rooftop. The lights are controlled with a touch screen. Wifi seemed to work well. Good luggage and jacket storage at the entry way.
Lots of free amenities in the lobby and you can get 2 bottle of water per day. We did not have breakfast during our stay but the lounge is open from ~2pm to ~9pm and there’s a Starbucks coffee/latte machine. You may also purchase a glass of sake for ¥500 from a machine. The second floor has pay laundry machines, microwave, ice machine, and vending machines.
Hotel staff was helpful. They can arrange your luggage to be sent to your next destination. I don’t think there is any added service charge. I had opted for no cleaning when booking to save a little but they still cleaned the room daily.
My only complaint is when I asked for a new key because i lost one, the receptionist gave some attitude and said that I should look in my room for it after issuing another key.
XXilijiejieThis was my second stay here, and I honestly think their mattresses are the most comfortable I've ever slept on, even compared to luxury hotels. They offer the perfect balance of firmness and support for my back, making them incredibly cozy. That's actually why I decided to book here again. On another note, the breakfast was excellent! They had a great selection of fermented foods and plenty of plant-based options. The ox tongue curry soup with rice was absolutely amazing, and the crisp and tender kimchi was a pleasant surprise. I even had two bowls of miso soup!
GGuest UserJust a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and even upgraded our room! It came with a massage chair, which was super comfortable. The room itself was quite spacious, and the hotel facilities were new and very clean. The only downside was the lack of a hot spring, which was a bit of a miss.

I will highly recommend this Koko Hotel and would be more than satisfied to stay again!
GGuest UserJust a few minutes' walk from Hirose-dori subway station, the hotel's location is extremely convenient, surrounded by numerous dining options. Having a convenience store on the ground floor is also a reassuring plus.
We stayed in a moderate non-smoking room for two. While the queen-sized bed was comfortable, it felt a bit cramped for two, though it would likely feel quite spacious for a solo traveler. The mattress firmness was just right, and the air purifier was a welcome amenity.
The bath area was nicely separated from the toilet, preventing any concerns about water splashing out, and the rain shower was a pleasant feature.
The front desk staff were friendly and left a positive impression.
One minor point is that the air conditioning throughout the hotel, including the lobby and hallways, felt a bit too strong. The complimentary coffee service in the lobby was a nice touch, but it was a shame that it couldn't be taken back to the room.
Overall, it's a clean hotel with excellent service, and we left feeling very satisfied.

GGuest UserThis hotel is perfect in every way. The view is excellent. Matsushima Coast, one of the three most beautiful views in Japan, is well-deserved. Sitting in the room, you can enjoy the beautiful view. The cuisine is impeccable, the small details are amazing, and the open-air hot spring makes the stay experience even better.
