LanlandewuyanxiaThe Conrad Hotel boasts an excellent location, overlooking the Shenyang Imperial Palace and Beiling Park, essentially placing it in the heart of Shenyang. The Executive Lounge offers superior service and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the breakfast selection on the 88th floor is somewhat limited. I suggest moving the check-in process to the concierge desk on the first floor. It would also be beneficial to have an elevator attendant at the transfer point on the 88th floor.

Xiaomianbao999You can always rely on established hotel chains. We originally booked another hotel for our first night, but it was so bad that we switched to this one.
**Amenities**: Although the decor is several years old, the facilities are still excellent and don't feel dated at all.
**Hygiene**: The cleanliness in both the room and the lobby was impeccable.
**Environment**: It's right next to Zhongshan Square, so the location is superb. Plus, there's a robot delivery service for food orders!
**Service**: The service attitude, from the concierge to the front desk, was fantastic. They even upgraded our room. We'll definitely stay here again next time.
Oh, and the breakfast was delicious!!

༺meidianle༻Overall, my stay at Le Méridien Shenyang was excellent. The location is superb, right next to the First Hospital of China Medical University, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel entrance is grand and stylish, and the lobby features a minimalist yet luxurious design. The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient with the check-in process. My room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was good, and the facilities were complete. The room had great natural light and views, ensuring a very relaxing stay. It's a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Xixixixi321The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated.
However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons:
1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway.
2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic?
3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken!
4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay.
For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!

Guest UserFirst off, the location is fantastic – nestled by the mountains and the sea, yet still conveniently close to the city. The architectural style is grand and imposing; it's beautiful both inside and out. It's a photographer's dream with so many picturesque spots, perfect for those who love taking photos. For families or those with kids, I highly recommend a sea-view room. My trip was quite spontaneous; I booked hotels last minute for all three nights. Honestly, the value for money here surpasses the Grand Hyatt, though it might not be as close to Xingyue Square. However, you can easily get around by taxi, or use the hotel shuttle to go down the hill. If the weather's nice, a leisurely stroll down is also enjoyable (you might even spot a deer along Binhai West Road – they're super cute! The complimentary apples from the hotel are a hit with them, even more so than carrots). Plus, the room views here are much better than the Grand Hyatt. Most Grand Hyatt rooms offer an angled sea view, whereas at Yi Fang Castle, the rooms generally face the sea directly, front and center.
The service deserves five stars. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic. When we had a minor issue with the toilet in our room, they were proactive in resolving it. They even followed up at check-out to ask about our experience and later called to apologize, concerned about affecting our stay. We only discovered the toilet lid was beeping around 11 PM. A technician came to look, but it seemed like it couldn't be fixed right away. We asked the front desk, and they immediately sent new room cards and upgraded our room. Though it was a small hiccup, we felt truly taken care of.
Our whole family unanimously decided we'd stay here again on our next trip to Dalian. It's convenient whether you want to just relax or go out and explore.
One small heads-up for those considering staying: the hotel has been open for a while now, so it has that classic, established luxury hotel style. If you prioritize modern facilities, you might want to consider other options. Hotels closer to Donggang tend to be newer. It really depends on individual needs. I'd recommend it to photography lovers, families with kids, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
We didn't dine at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food. However, Dalian has many delicious dining options, and the city isn't too big, so you can easily find great food just by exploring.

Finding the right hotel in Shenyang is so important! This time, I chose the Swissôtel by Accor, right by Qingnian Park metro station. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around. For around 500 RMB, it even offers a swimming pool. The best feature of the room is definitely the floor-to-ceiling window, which offers a fantastic city view of the TV Tower. The cityscape is really impressive, though I regret not taking night photos as I was out exploring. The room is also quite spacious, comes with a bathtub for relaxing, and the bed is very comfortable. My only complaint is that they didn't offer a birthday treat even though I checked in on my birthday.

I stayed in a Deluxe Club twin room. Check-in was on the 25th floor, which was quiet, fast, and convenient. The room was quite spacious, and although the beds weren't huge, they were incredibly comfortable—just the right firmness, and I particularly liked the firm pillows. While the facilities are a bit dated, it was perfectly acceptable. Breakfast was very rich and varied. I also had both a buffet lunch and a buffet dinner, both of which were delicious and, more importantly, very affordable. The cleanliness could have been better, though; there was noticeable dust on the phone, TV remote, and some of the furniture. Despite that, overall, I was very satisfied.

MishidefengshengzhuI stayed here in 2023 when it was still a Kempinski. The spa and bakery left a deep impression on me. Since 2026, it has rebranded to Pullman by Accor, without closing for renovations, so the facilities remain unchanged. This time in Dalian, I revisited the hotel.
Having been open for over twenty years, the facilities are indeed quite old. The room has a lot of heavy wooden furnishings, which must have been a significant investment back then. Many of them are no longer very smooth to use, such as the wardrobe sliding doors and bathroom drawers. They are difficult to move, and any attempt to do so would require major renovation. This also applies to issues like only having a charging port on one side of the bed, which many guests complain about. Personally, I quite like this old-fashioned, substantial hotel decor style; it lacks the cheap feel of some newer high-end hotels. Old is fine, as long as it doesn't affect normal use.
The faucet is a Danish brand, possibly a concept product more focused on styling. It has a strange push-button operation. Some are smooth, others are very stiff and difficult to use, making it hard to control water flow and potentially scratching hands.
The bed and sofa are very comfortable. It took me a while to find the light switches in the room, only to realize they were on the central control panel – a small, inconspicuous box by the bedside.
The service is still good. It's peak season now, but I was still able to check in at the regulated time. This time, I bought a package through Trip.com, which included breakfast for two and dinner at Paulaner. It was a great value. The front desk even upgraded me to a better room type in a separate building, the VIP building, which has less than ten rooms per floor.
Regarding the food: The breakfast variety is decent. The menu listed omelets, so I asked the chef to make one, and it tasted good. For milk, there was hot whole milk and cold skim milk; cold whole milk would have been a nice addition. The bakery, no longer part of Kempinski, has changed its products. My favorite chocolate croissants are gone. I bought some sliced cakes, and they tasted good. Paulaner has an excellent environment with a great atmosphere and live performances. The service is also very attentive, and guests get a 25% discount. However, pizzas take a long time to prepare; I waited over an hour for mine.
The spa and pool are still the same as before, with an exotic flair. Several hot tubs and my favorite steam bath were all open and functioning. The pool is deeper than usual, at 1.5-1.8m, and it wasn't crowded, making it very peaceful.
My main suggestions are all regarding the facilities:
1. The wooden furnishings that are not smooth to use should be repaired.
2. Add a charging port to the other side of the bed.
3. Replace the strange faucets.
4. The two panels of the curtains should not be on a single track; they need to overlap to prevent a gap, otherwise, how can light be blocked effectively?

Guest UserThis stay truly exceeded my expectations, I'm incredibly satisfied!
I especially want to thank Flora Sun, who patiently helped me from before check-in. As a foreign visitor, she helped me sign for a package delivered to the hotel in advance and meticulously arranged all my requests before arrival. Her communication and service were incredibly thoughtful, making me feel completely at ease even before I got to the hotel.
When I mentioned during check-in that this trip was for a birthday celebration, I was so surprised to find that she had thoughtfully decorated my room! Opening the door was a truly delightful and touching moment. This level of care made my birthday trip even more memorable. It really felt like the hotel wasn't just going through the motions, but genuinely put themselves in the guest's shoes to provide warm and considerate service.
The hotel's location is also excellent, directly connected to Galleria Mall, making dining, shopping, and grocery runs incredibly convenient. You can easily get around regardless of the weather. For first-time visitors to Dalian, this location is highly recommended.
The hotel itself is an apartment-style hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with full amenities. The washing machine, refrigerator, and other appliances are very practical, making it perfect for stays of several days or even longer. The overall environment is quiet, and the hygiene is excellent, ensuring a very comfortable stay.
This trip was with my mother, who has some difficulty with her legs. The hotel staff provided a lot of help and care from check-in to check-out, which made our entire journey much easier. This kind of service truly feels very warm.
Finally, I want to thank Flora Sun again for her consistent patience, meticulousness, and genuine help. Her professionalism and enthusiasm made this stay even more perfect. If I ever have the chance to visit Dalian again, I will definitely choose to stay here, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family. I believe you will also have a very pleasant and unforgettable stay here!

lauyee2007Sihai Hotel is in the same building as Jianguo Puyin. The rooms are located on the 4th to 6th floors. It is a well-established comprehensive four-star hotel. The interior soft furnishings and electrical appliances are all made of solid wood, and it is very comfortable to stay in. I stayed here during the Spring Festival when I returned to Anshan to visit relatives. The breakfast was also very good. The overall cost performance is very high. It is much better than the ordinary economy chain hotels, and the price is only a few dozen yuan more expensive. I got married here, and there is a certain emotion.
