We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was excellent, ensuring a great night’s sleep. She contacted us in advance to understand our needs, kindly upgraded our room, and assisted us with complimentary parking. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The room was spacious and clean, with both indoor and outdoor soaking tubs. Drinks and snacks were provided in the room, and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. The lunch options were also very good for our family trip. I recommend staying here.

I was already looking forward to writing a review for this hotel before my trip even ended! It truly exceeded all my expectations! The front desk upgraded me, and I ended up with a huge room. Both the bathtub and the window view were absolutely superb, and I loved the small balcony in the room—it was great to get some fresh air without leaving. The Penhaligon's toiletries and the intangible cultural heritage exhibition in the lobby were also nice bonuses.

After carefully weighing the options between the Horizon Club Room and the 2-Bedroom Residence, we chose the Residence and could not have been happier with our decision. The enormous extra space, privacy, and comfort made it the perfect choice for our stay. For families or groups traveling together, I highly recommend considering the Residences. A special mention goes to Mr. KAKI, the Residences Manager. From check-in to check-out, he was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely courteous. His constant presence and willingness to assist elevated our experience from a 5-star stay to what truly felt like a 6-star experience. Having spent the previous two weeks traveling throughout Northeast China and staying at several other 5-star hotels, we can confidently say that Shangri-La Dalian stands out as one of the finest hotels we encountered in every respect. Some highlights of our stay: • The breakfast was generous, varied, and absolutely delicious. • Housekeeping was exceptionally efficient and responsive. • The air conditioning worked perfectly, providing consistently cool and comfortable temperatures. • The automated toilets with spray bidet functions were a thoughtful touch and added greatly to the overall comfort of the room. Shangri-La Dalian delivers excellence not only through its facilities but also through its people. Our stay exceeded expectations, and we would not hesitate to return on our next visit to Dalian.

Shangri-La is my top choice for a vacation, a world away from business hotels and the daily grind. It truly feels like a getaway. The location is excellent, with direct access to MixC Mall from B2, and the metro station isn't far either. The service is superb; the staff are warm and friendly, always ready to guide you to the elevators or restaurant. The Horizon Club inclusion of afternoon tea and a light dinner in the evening was a pleasant surprise, and the view of Youth Park from the 30th floor is quite nice. Breakfast is also very rich, offering a great selection of local specialties, Western, and Chinese dishes.

Excellent value for money! The price is great and the quality is top-notch. The room was clean, bright, and odorless, and the bathroom was spotless. The service was fantastic – they responded promptly to all my requests. It was a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Definitely worth coming back to!

I really want to commend our butler, Dino. Their service was professional and incredibly warm. They were humble and friendly, and very meticulous in their work. Any requests we had were quickly addressed, and they handled everything with great care and competence, making sure all arrangements were perfectly planned. Dino truly prioritized our stay experience, focusing on every detail, and proactively helped coordinate various matters. The service level was outstanding, making our entire stay relaxed and enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience.

Pros: The hotel is very close to the beach, not a private one, but it's a convenient 10-minute walk. It's also near Discoveryland, making it easy to visit. The hotel exterior is beautiful, and the gardens are lovely. Cons: We booked this hotel for RMB 1440 per night during the May Day holiday, but the service level definitely didn't match that price point. The room decor and facilities were pretty basic, essentially just a step up from a budget hotel with the addition of a bathtub. They claimed to have children's toiletries, but we never saw any. There's no laundry room, and while the room had a small fridge, it was empty, with no complimentary drinks. The hotel's own restaurant was very mediocre. The breakfast buffet was basically on par with a slightly better budget hotel. The other à la carte restaurant was overpriced with very ordinary dishes, not to mention a 15% service charge. I honestly couldn't figure out what service that fee was for; we even had to search for a water pitcher ourselves or actively call a waiter just to get water. The hotel staff were quite disappointing. It felt like they hired a bunch of temporary workers for the May Day rush, as they seemed clueless about everything we asked. There was no detailed information in the room about the children's play area, gym operating hours, or fees; we had to inquire about everything individually. In summary, apart from the hotel's exterior and scenery, everything else was rather subpar. It felt like a glorified budget hotel, so don't set your expectations too high.

I stayed at this apartment for five nights in Dalian and was unexpectedly satisfied. It's incredibly convenient for airport transfers, with direct access via Metro Line 2. Located in Donggang, the sea views are stunning and within walking distance. Public transport, including buses and the metro, makes it easy to reach various attractions and commercial areas. With your room card, the fourth-floor elevator provides direct access to Kaidan Plaza, which offers a fantastic and affordable selection of dining options. There's also a Better You supermarket on the mall's basement level. Seafood stalls offer free cooking services for purchases over 80 yuan, and you get a 2% discount when paying with your Fraser Place room card. The room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent amenities, even laundry detergent, which was a very thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and responded quickly. Overall, it was a perfect stay. I highly recommend Fraser Place if you're visiting Dalian.
