SierraMotel is a typical kiwi motel with all the amenities you need.
Nicely set back off the road so quiet and undisturbed. Obviously very popular with cyclists, fishermen and walkers, of whom there were plenty.

Kleiner Campingplatz mit unterschiedlichen Zimmer bzw. Stellplatzkategorien. Wir hatten ein Cottage mit Kochnische und Bad.
Super sauber, voll ausgestattet. Schon etwas älter, aber alles in Tadellosem Zustand.
Die Lage ist phänomenal. Nur ein paar Schritte zur Surat Bay, in der man fast jederzeit Seelöwen zu sehen bekommt!
Wir würden in Catlins Haven wieder hier übernachten.

Always my favourite place to stay when we go to The Catlins. Beach is nearby, sunset view is awesome. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

The lakeside cottage is very beautiful and the room is clean, but it has a retro feel and everything is old. There is also a small drawback that you can't cook. But the restaurant next to it is delicious and worth a visit! The key point is that the room has a bathtub

There's a bus stop right outside the hotel. It's by the lake, and the kitchen is quite spacious. The cleanliness, however, was just okay. There's a drying area behind the house for laundry.

CChaojifeixiakabudaThis hostel is of an extremely high standard, and considering the prices in New Zealand, it offers incredible value for money. The decor is modern and beautiful, and it's spotlessly clean. The location is right in the town center, convenient for almost all Queenstown activities. The highlight is definitely the rooftop outdoor common area and kitchen, where you can cook your own meals and enjoy the view while you eat. I also met some really nice people here. A perfect 10/10!

KKhoThe place is spacious and the location is excellent. It is right next to the main road. After watching the little penguins, you can buy fast food nearby before returning to the hostel. The room is spacious and there are staff on duty at night. You can park at the door, which is very convenient

GGuest UserThe room is very comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the particularly good place is that there is a bathtub that can be SPA, which is so cool! The boss is from Beijing and very talkative. There is a supermarket and a variety of food nearby, which is very convenient.

이이진희We chose this hotel because we expected to enjoy its winery/food. Otherwise, we should have stayed in Queenstown with a lot of restaurants and pubs.
As we would arrive in the early evening, we put a note for our hope for experiencing their winery and food (or at least finger foods) when we booked the hotel, and received email that they cannot guarantee but will do their best to serve our need. Since then, no email was sent to us. When we arrived at the hotel around 6 pm, no one was in the information desk, so we had to go to the bistro to find out that they left the key in a safe box without any notice or sending us any email with its password. We had to wait a while for the bistro lady to make a phone call to whom it concerns, which was okay. Worse, we heard that their bistro was reserved for a group event so we could not use the facility at all. We had to drive 15 minutes to a nearby town and bought foods from a supermarket. I think the hotel should have notified us of impossibility of using their bistro/food service due to the group event and we have to prepare for our food. As I checked out, I left a note about the issues, and expected they would send me an email to express their sincere apology. Unfortunately nothing happened so far. Although I liked the room as well as the whole place very much, I think Kinross cottage needs professionalism to run their stay program. It could have been much nicer, memorable stay experience.

ZZiyang JustinVery clean and easily accessible from Queentown Airport. Counter staff are also approachable and friendly. Simple and good to use as a base to explore Queentown city. Carpark lots are sufficient though they hotel will highlight that there is limited during especially peak seasons.

1️⃣ The water temperature at night wasn't good.
2️⃣ The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and I couldn't even connect to it.
Parking costs 20 NZD per day.
