The room offered a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, which was lovely. It was a two-story room, and my elderly parents wanted to sleep downstairs. We asked the front desk if they could add a single bed downstairs. Initially, an Indian staff member at the front desk agreed, but when we returned to the hotel that evening, they told us it wasn't possible. Thankfully, our driver and guide negotiated repeatedly, and they eventually added a bed for us for the following days. The breakfast wasn't very diverse, with not much to choose from.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The stunning scenery speaks for itself, truly like living inside a postcard. But what really elevated the experience was the hotel's service: the staff were always smiling, greeted us proactively, and the room cleaning was meticulous. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. This attention to detail and thoughtful service, combined with the enchanting environment, significantly enhanced our overall happiness during the stay. Highly recommended. It's about a 10-minute walk to the town center, but the big advantage here is the convenient parking – parking is usually the biggest hassle in Queenstown. Most hotels in New Zealand have a check-out time around 10:00 AM, but if you talk to them, you can usually extend it to 11:00 AM.
