First, the positives! The service attitude was exceptionally good! Whether it was me, being a bit delicate, asking the customer service小姐姐 (a polite term for a young woman) for two extra quilts, or asking the kitchen姐姐 (a polite term for an older woman) for a plate to wash fruit, everyone was incredibly happy to help! No one showed any impatience whatsoever. Everyone was genuinely wonderful, like a big, happy family. Now for the downsides: The secondhand smoke problem is really serious! From the moment you enter the main gate, there are people smoking everywhere. There are also ashtrays outside the rooms on the second floor, and people smoke there daily. Of course, I had seen reviews mentioning this before checking in, so I was prepared. Also, the water heater is still a bit unstable – one minute it's scalding hot, the next it's freezing cold. I was practically doing the tango in the shower! Overall, it's great value for money. I found some travel buddies here, and I'd definitely recommend staying at Bigfoot's if you're traveling solo!

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to various shops and food streets, and Kunming Old Street is just a 10-15 minute walk away. We could also park right in front of the hotel, which was convenient for getting taxis. The hotel is new, the rooms are spacious, the front desk service is great, and the breakfast offers a good variety and is delicious! It's excellent value for money.

A good first stop in Kunming. Its location is fantastic in the Jinbi Square. A central hub of local attractions. The hostel is clean and respectful. The showers have very good pressure and hot water. Toilets are a little old and might take a few flushes. There is an inside bar that is somewhat noisy during the evening/night hours, if you are looking to be social with other guests. This is a good spot for it as it also has a snooker table. The interior is decorated quite nicely. It features a client fridge to store food/drinks and a self-serve laundry with a washer/dryer/hanging rack. As this hostel has an optimum bar & social area, expect your dorm-mates to enter the dorm noisily and somewhat drunk. The outdoor roof terrace has plenty of seat and is quite scenic to Jinbi Square in the evenings. They offer a menu and food service (can be somewhat pricey, but hostels/hotels offer drinks/food at a premium, is quite common). The staff are very attentive, polite and helpful when I had requests and inquiries. They offer luggage storage service for 10RMB a day & 50 RMB. I felt safe to keep my belongings here for a further 10 days whilst I continued to travel. The beds are quite hard and firm, it made sleeping a bit uncomfortable but for the price that is offered to stay here, it can be overlooked. The entrance to the hostel is on the ground floor and you take an elevator up to floor 3 and walk straight across the bar area and into the living quarters. This can be a little confusing at first, especially when carrying your luggage through a vibrant and cheerful bar area. There is plenty of space and tables to work on in a comfortable location. There is no Air Conditioning in the main bar area so wrap up! But there is Air conditioning in the dorm rooms. A good size locker and comfortable quilt and pillow. I will stay again. The food by the chefs are delicious and carefully crafted. I thank you for the service

We were welcomed by A Fei, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, dependable, and super helpful. He can assist you with literally anything from recommending great restaurants and souvenir shops to finding the best places to buy local goods. He even went as far as asking for discounts from the shop owners for us! The room was super clean, tidy, and spacious. We originally booked two rooms, but since one was a bit smaller and on the first floor, he upgraded us to a larger room right next to each other so my family wouldn't be separated. He also handled our station transfers and organized our Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tour, which was seamless and very satisfying. The breakfast was good too. Overall, a 10/10 experience!

The Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, City Center, boasts a fantastic location right in Kunming's bustling commercial district, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. As a newly opened hotel, the facilities are brand-new and modern, the rooms are spotless, and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel's butler service is warm and attentive, always ready to assist. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. There are countless great eateries nearby; you can explore all sorts of authentic local snacks on foot. The metro station is also close by, ensuring hassle-free travel. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming!

The biggest plus for this room is its fantastic location, right next to Kunming Old Street. It's just a short walk to East Asia Style Street, Zhengyi Road Pedestrian Street, and Kunming Old Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. The room is 28 square meters, a standard size for business travelers. The cleaning staff were very diligent with their work, and the young lady at the front desk was also very friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Before checking in, a dedicated person was assigned to assist us. The hotel itself is quite expansive, and you can really experience a tropical vibe without even leaving the property. Our room had a balcony, and there were no bugs around the Chinese New Year period, which made it very comfortable. The hotel also offers a travel photography service, including 5 free shots, with scenic spots right within the resort. Most people will likely pay extra for more photos, but it's a great option because it saves you from having to battle crowds at popular tourist spots for pictures. Other package activities seemed more suitable for younger children. We also received complimentary welcome fruits and snacks. There's a nearby village called Manhena with a night market where you can grab a bite, which was very convenient.

This Airbnb truly deserves 5 stars! ⭐️ I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to their best suite, which came with a stunning view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain — absolutely unforgettable. The service was excellent as well. The staff kindly helped carry my 18kg luggage up to the 4th floor upon arrival, and again when I checked out, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight for me — the under-the-bridge vermicelli was light, comforting, and easy on the stomach. Even better, the restaurant offers a beautiful mountain view while you dine. In the evening, they hosted a butter tea-making session, which was such a unique experience. I even got to try making my own tsampa, and it made my stay feel extra special. The location is also very convenient — just about a 20-minute walk to Lijiang Ancient City. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The room view alone is worth coming back for!

The Owner was very helpful in organising a day tour of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We also upgraded to a better room with a beautiful view of Lichiang for a reasonable additional fee. We were able to wash our clothes in their washing machine & hang them put to dry in our Balcony with a clothes line specially installed for this purpose. Additional hangers were provided as well ! The location was right in the middle of Lichiang Ancient City..and we were easily able to explore this lovely City. Overall it was an excellent experience & we highly recommend this Hotel.

The Kaleidoscope room is truly amazing! You can capture the chimney night view right from the balcony, and the most stunning surprise was on the day we left – I opened the curtains and saw the sunrise, it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff's service attitude was also excellent. I accidentally scraped another car while parking, and they quickly helped resolve it. They even gave us two complimentary breakfasts afterward. I'm truly grateful; this hotel is genuinely fantastic. The shuttle bus takes you directly to the scenic area for photos, but the Dongfengyun Scenic Area is only really suitable for taking pictures; we finished exploring in half an hour. By 3 PM, we were so bored we just watched TV at the hotel. If I hadn't booked the hotel in advance, I would have just gone back to Kunming that evening.
