We love the free laundry service, the hotel staff sent our washed and dried clothes to our rooms the next morning. All towels were sealed in bags to ensure cleanliness. We were served honey drinks immediately when the staff met us at the counter. The rooms we booked were spacious. The location is definitely excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location: It's near Heilongtan and a short walk to the old street. There are shops and restaurants around the hotel. Service: All the staff were welcoming and friendly. For example, they helped carry my luggage before I even arrived at the hotel, helped contact the airline when my flight was delayed, and replaced my hairdryer at midnight. They also gave good advice on places to visit. Room condition: The room is modern and can be controlled with AI voice commands to turn lights, curtains, and air conditioning on and off (Chinese language only). The bathroom is spacious, the air conditioning is cool, but the room door is not very soundproof. Food: Breakfast is a set menu with unlimited refills. What I liked most was the afternoon tea with fruit served while enjoying the view of the Yulong Mountain. There was also a Suyoucha-making workshop in the evening, which was a fun activity and allowed me to chat with other guests.

Convenient option if you’re arriving late or catching an early flight, as the hotel is very close to Kunming Airport and saves you the trip into the city. The airport pick-up and drop-off service is smooth and reliable, which makes arrival and departure hassle-free. Check-in was easy, and the staff were welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch was the complimentary flower cake on arrival, which added a nice local feel to the stay. Overall, a practical and comfortable choice for a short airport stopover.

This hotel is located right in the city center, with a lively pedestrian street and plenty of great food options downstairs. The halal beef pancakes right outside are delicious and always have a long queue! If you turn right out of the hotel and pass Nanning Street, you'll reach Shuncheng Shopping Mall, which boasts numerous restaurants. The Wuyi Road metro station is also right next to it. You can easily walk to Cuihu Park and several other pedestrian streets from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including local Yunnan specialties like Er'si and rice noodles. The hotel maintains the high standards of Sheraton (Marriott), and the room facilities are excellent. The lovely front desk staff even upgraded my room and gave me a fruit platter. My room on the 28th floor offered expansive city views. For transportation to Kunming Station, if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend a taxi as there might not be a direct metro line due to the complex underground structure of the old city. One suggestion I have is to place ashtrays (or poles) outside the entrance. This would prevent guests who step out to smoke from a non-smoking hotel from littering cigarette butts.

Songzhuju is one of the nicest homestay I've stayed in. 1. Butler Ah Fei and all staff are very welcoming and friendly. Ah Fei contacted me in advance to arrange pick up and itinerary. He's also the go-to guy for purchase of authentic tea and local produce. 2. Superior location The homestay is situated about 100m from north gate. Considered easy to find but I would still recommend the pick up service as the town is such a maze. It takes around 30mins by car from Lijiang Railway to the ancient town. Restaurants, cafes and shops are everywhere. 3. Spacious and cosy room Room was clean, full amenities like bathrobe, slippers, kettle, shampoo, conditioner etc all provided There are endless options of homestays to choose from but Songzhuju stands out for being so homely and such kind of personal service is really rare. After 3 days of stay, i cannot pinpoint a single negative aspect at all. Would return for sure and highly recommend to all travellers! . Bed and pillows quite comfortable. Breakfast provided from 8am. Laundry room available.

”Great stay with an amazing view!” We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel owner was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. It’s located in a great spot—high up enough to get a stunning panoramic view of Lijiang Old Town. The bed was very comfortable, and the price was highly affordable. Definitely great value for money!

I had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was exceptionally clean, and the daily cleaning service kept everything spotless throughout my stay. All of the amenities and furnishings in the room were in excellent condition and worked perfectly.What truly set this stay apart was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and even assisted me with planning my itinerary. I highly appreciate their hospitality and would absolutely stay here again!

Before arriving at Feilai Temple, I hesitated for a long time, unsure whether to stay in Wunongding or Feilai Temple. Ultimately, considering the possibility of heavy fog during Yunnan's rainy season, I chose this hotel in Feilai Temple, hoping to see a glimpse of the snow-capped mountains. Another factor in choosing this hotel was to avoid a common problem with many hotels in Feilai Temple: the somewhat unsightly cable car 😅. Staying here far exceeded my expectations. First, the service was attentive and thoughtful. A butler picked us up from the station, helped with our luggage, and drove us quickly from the station to the hotel. The complimentary fruit platter was very fresh, and the grapes were delicious! In the afternoon, while enjoying afternoon tea at the hotel, we actually saw the snow-capped mountains as the clouds moved – we were so lucky! The hotel also offered a complimentary photo shoot service, three photos per room. After changing into ******* clothing, we were ready to take pictures – they turned out beautifully. The room was fully equipped with underfloor heating, diffused oxygen supply, a humidifier, and even a spare nasal cannula. We had experienced some altitude sickness the night before in Dukezong Ancient Town and didn't sleep well, but we felt great here. If you're more sensitive and find it a little stuffy, you can open the window slightly; it won't be cold. 😍 If our itinerary hadn't already been booked, the parents traveling with us would have liked to stay another day or two. 🌹

The overall experience exceeded my expectations; everything was impeccable. The environmental hygiene was exceptionally well-maintained. The lobby was clean, bright, and odor-free, and the guest room felt fresh the moment I walked in. The floors and bathroom countertops were spotless, the bedding was soft and tidy, and there was no dust accumulation in the corners. The toiletries were neatly arranged, and after opening the window for ventilation, the air felt fresh, making my stay very comfortable and reassuring. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The air conditioning and hot water supply were stable, the internet was smooth, and the bathroom water pressure was ample. The lighting and power outlets were thoughtfully arranged, and the vanity and wardrobe offered sufficient space. The seating in the lounge area was comfortable, and all facilities were new and undamaged, providing an excellent user experience. I must particularly commend the service. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in was fast and efficient. Staff members would greet me proactively when passing by, and they responded quickly to any requests with patience and attention to detail. The directions for travel and parking were clear, and the service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and with heartwarming service, this hotel offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

The hotel located near tourist attractions, making it easy to go on foot. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since we can't speak Chinese, they contacted us with a translation app. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. I suggest everyone to try crossing-the-bridge noodle. They also offer tea in the afternoon and desserts in the evening. Along the way from the hotel to Kunming old street you can see local lives. We saw groups playing chess right in front of the hotel, giving a vintage atmosphere. The only thing i'd like the hotel to improve is that the water in the shower wasn't hot enough.
