It's definitely worth recommending. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, and it's super convenient to get to scenic spots. Plus, the hotel can even help you book discounted tickets!

Guest UserMy family and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Xinjie International Resort Hotel! The hotel has a large, free parking lot, which was incredibly convenient and stress-free for us traveling by car. Our room was spacious and elegantly designed, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The staff were all warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful.
The backyard area is serene and beautiful with stunning views; from our balcony, we had direct sight of lush green mountains and verdant trees – the open view and scenery were absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, our stay was comfortable and relaxing, making it a top choice for family trips! I especially loved the tennis court; I definitely need to come back for a few matches next time.

Guest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Rong Lake, practically part of the city park. The stunning lake and mountain scenery are right before your eyes. The hotel itself is a classic Republican-era building, exuding a sense of history and cherished memories, like a quiet, wise elder full of stories. Our room even had a balcony, and sitting there sipping tea while gazing at Rong Lake below truly felt like escaping the hustle and bustle, bringing a sense of calm. The hotel also kindly provided coffee vouchers, which helped pass the time while waiting for our flight.

JiatengjialatasiluotongI only have three words: Exceeded expectations!
Because I rarely stay in B&Bs, I was quite concerned about the hygiene of this hotel. But it truly exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, absolutely on par with high-end five-star hotels. All the toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the citrus scent was delightful. The bedding was comfortable, with just the right firmness, and the duvet was perfectly weighted – very thoughtful details. The service was superb; from the moment I parked my car, staff members were there to help with luggage and even hold an umbrella. There were plenty of parking spaces, and branded EV chargers were available. Before heading out, the front desk would arrange electric scooter rentals, delivered right to the hotel entrance. The complimentary drinks at the front desk, complete with ice, were always available – truly, having stayed in hotels both domestically and internationally, the convenience and overall experience here are top-tier. There aren't many rooms, so service is prompt, and the soundproofing is excellent. The views were astonishing from the moment I walked in.
Every single detail was fantastic, making this one of the warmest hotel experiences I've ever had. It was so great, I'd genuinely love to extend my stay if I had the time. It's so good that if I ever bring my children and elderly parents, I will absolutely, without a doubt, choose this place again.
I hope they continue to thrive and their business prospers! I heard they're opening in Chongzuo, and I'll definitely visit if I get the chance.

Guest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

Five-star rating plus 9 photos for my favorite B&B and its lovely hostess! Our family trip to Guilin Yangshuo this time had its ups and downs with the weather. It didn't rain as forecasted, but it was incredibly hot during the day. We ended up spending a lot of time at the B&B, but we had an absolutely wonderful experience. First off, the guesthouse was spotless, and everyone's service was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We booked the New Chinese Suite, which had large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the afternoon, we were even treated to an afternoon tea. After resting, we rented electric scooters from the B&B and went cycling along the Ten-Mile Gallery, which was fantastic. The highlight was definitely after dinner, enjoying the hostess's bartending skills at the B&B's bar. She's beautiful, has a cheerful personality, and makes excellent cocktails. We kept enjoying drink after drink into the evening. Next time when it's cooler, I'll definitely be back to Yangshuo for rafting and to stay at this B&B again. See you then!

Posted on Apr 29, 2026|Elegant Room - Mountain-View (Double Bed) (Balcony)
Guest UserFirst off, the location is absolutely superb, right by the Li River. It's just a few hundred meters from the dock where the cruise from Guilin disembarks, and it's also very close to West Street, making evening strolls incredibly convenient. The room's style is both rustic and fresh, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and all the facilities are complete. The view from the outdoor window is full of greenery, and sitting on the balcony, enjoying the river breeze, truly feels like a vacation. The restaurant downstairs is a must-visit in Yangshuo, and staying here means you can skip the queue. The dishes are affordably priced, and I highly recommend everyone to try it!

Guest UserI stayed at the Guilin Versailles Hotel again, and it was great in every aspect. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor with a wide variety of food, and you can even see the beautiful mountain scenery from afar. The room was meticulously clean, and the air conditioning cooled down very quickly. The hotel staff would greet me and say hello wherever I saw them, which made me feel very welcome. I'm very satisfied with this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time. Thumbs up!

Posted on Jul 19, 2026|Spacious City View Family Room (Sleeps 4)
TingyudeyiI brought my girlfriend to Guilin for a weekend getaway and booked the 180° panoramic suite. The room was spacious with great views of the city. It was clean and had a large screen for projection. Enjoying a bath while watching a movie projected onto the screen at night was quite relaxing. The hotel contacted me in advance to confirm my check-in time, showing great attention to detail.
The location is indeed convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and East & West Alleys. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the rice noodles and wontons, and then headed straight out to explore the attractions.
In the evening, we caught the sunset from the 9th-floor terrace, sitting there with a drink and enjoying the breeze – very pleasant. I also had a swim in the pool. The hotel has a large kids' play area on the 10th floor; I'd love to bring my family and children here next time.
In the evening, the hotel even delivered some warm, comforting dessert, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. All the staff members I encountered were very friendly. When I went to do laundry, there was a wait, but a staff member told me to just write a note and leave my clothes aside, and they would wash, dry, and return them to my room. This was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Guilin.

We arrived at 1 o'clock in the morning on October 8, and the boss came out to pick us up. It was so late at night without the boss to guide us, so I might not be able to find it. The next morning I visited the main attractions, traveling during off-peak hours, so it was comfortable with fewer people. After lunch, the boss delayed check-out until 14:00, and went back to the hotel to rest for an hour before leaving. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the scenic spot. When you go out, the car will park in the parking lot of the hotel across the road.
