This hot spring hotel is perfect in every aspect, with the only drawback being its slightly inconvenient location for transport. A delightful bonus is that two red-crowned cranes visit right in front of the hotel every evening and morning to feed, which is truly interesting to observe from afar.

Room is very clean and short 7mins walk to integrated Sapporo JR station, subway (Namboku and Toho line) and bus terminal. The hotel also upgraded me to a more comfortable double bed room which is kind of standard for all the places I have travelled. Amenities are always replenished unlike some hotels which don’t provide. Staff are very polite. I don’t know how many times I have bowed in return. Also, although the room is facing JR railway, the sound insulation is very good - no disturbance from train movement. Buffet breakfast is also very good with all kinds of sushi such as blow fish, flat fish, blue crab miso soup, ramen, Mongolian bbq mutton Jingkisukan, and even sparkling wine. I would stay here again if come to Sapporo.

Beautiful hotel with a moor onsen spa and sauna. However it is a 15-min walk from the station and shuttle service is limited. Lots of weddings and royal visit at this resort. Twin Room is spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to M fast food chain next door and Aeon shopping nearby. I would highly recommend it.

Located in Nakajima Park, it's easily accessible directly from New Chitose Airport via the airport shuttle bus, and the return pick-up point is conveniently right across the street from the hotel. The hotel breakfast offers both Japanese and buffet options, and both are delicious. Upon check-in, a bellhop escorted us to our room, helped with our luggage, and explained everything. Luggage storage is available, and for extended stays, our bags were already in the room upon our return. It really feels like you're staying right in Nakajima Park. Highly recommended!

The room size was moderate; after adding an extra bed to a standard room, the remaining space felt a bit cramped. It came with a coffee machine. The hotel is very close to Hakodate Station, with convenience stores and drugstores nearby, making shopping easy. It's also very close to the morning market. We opted for the hotel breakfast this time, which was also rich and delicious.

Excellent hotel. The rooftop infinity pool, hot spring, terrace bath, sea breeze, and Hakodate night view were incredibly relaxing. I used the baths both in the evening and in the morning. There's a scenic bar lounge that offers coffee. The room had a private washer/dryer and a microwave. The breakfast offered was great value, allowing you to choose a restaurant at the adjacent seafood market. However, I didn't opt for it because I wanted to try catching squid and grilling it, and also having crab shabu-shabu – this morning market is truly the best for seafood. Disposable slippers were provided, which many Japanese hotels don't offer.

The room was spacious, and the East Wing facilities felt quite new. The view from the window in the morning was beautiful. The service was good, though the hot springs were a bit crowded. The outdoor hot spring views were just so-so and not very clear at night. The front desk staff were very attentive; they gave detailed directions, including bus schedules for going to Noboribetsu Station. There was even one staff member who spoke Chinese. The restaurant was decent. The roasted beef was quite tasty, but the duck soba was very average. It wasn't expensive. There's a shop in the hotel selling snacks and local specialties, which was very convenient, and the staff there were excellent. I left my room key at the hot springs, and the staff helped me retrieve it – much appreciated!

Extremely close to Otaru-Chikko Station, directly accessible via a covered walkway. With an Aeon mall right downstairs, it's incredibly convenient for one-stop shopping and dining. The rooms are quite spacious for Japanese standards, and the facilities are very well-maintained. The mountain view rooms also offer pleasant scenery. Service was decent, and it provides excellent value for money.

Location: Right next to the JR Sapporo Station East Exit, with clear directions leading the way. The front desk is on the 1st floor. The hot spring is on the 22nd floor (2150 JPY extra if not included in the room rate), guest rooms start from the 23rd floor, and the breakfast restaurant is on the 35th floor. Facilities: The hot spring offers a 41℃ pool, a 37℃ bubbling pool, a mist sauna, a dry sauna, and spa services that can be booked. After your soak, there's a relaxation lounge nearby with free popsicles (the Hokkaido milk flavor is delicious!). Milk is available from 6 PM. There's no self-service laundry. If you need laundry done, there are bags and a form in the drawer. Fill it out and call the housekeeper for pickup. The multi-functional electronic clock by the bed has two buttons: one for room cleaning and one for 'do not disturb'. Pressing them will light up an indicator outside your door, or you can hang the 'do not disturb' sign from the drawer on the door. Breakfast was decent; I chose the set meal both days. Rice and miso soup are refillable for free.

The hotel is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Hakodate JR Station. The absolute highlight was the incredibly extensive breakfast, offering a wide variety of dishes including ramen and sashimi. Another major plus was the rooftop hot spring (onsen), which boasted fantastic views and was perfect for unwinding. On the same floor as the onsen, there's a snack bar open until 11 PM, where you can conveniently charge items like ramen, takoyaki, and ice cream directly to your room card. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

MMaer83This is a brand new hotel, perfectly situated with Nakajima Park and the Toyohira River right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. Both the facilities and service are fully up to Marriott's usual high standards, leaving no room for complaint. Our children particularly adored the sweet ********* lady at the front desk. My only minor gripe is the hotel lobby; it's quite small and feels crowded with just 3-5 groups of guests, which doesn't quite match the caliber of the hotel.

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

MM1377****Let's start with the room: The room was incredibly cramped, like a shoebox. There was absolutely no space for a large suitcase, and anyone weighing over 80kg would find it difficult to even turn around. This was completely inconsistent with the 20.9 square meters advertised on Ctrip. Regarding the hotel's price: I paid a price that could afford a stay at a Banyan Tree resort in China, but what I got felt more like a school dormitory. The standard was far below 3-star, akin to a budget motel. I booked a twin room, only to be informed it was for single occupancy. To add a 15-year-old child, they demanded an absurd extra charge of 16,300 JPY – a complete rip-off! There are many other hotel options available right outside Hakodate Station. This place is genuinely a scam. The front desk staff were also unprofessional; they even tried to overcharge us for breakfast. Finally, the facilities: Bottled drinking water was not provided in the room. Guests had to take a communal carafe to another floor to get water. There was a dryer available, but it was pay-per-use and didn't seem cheap. In summary, I will absolutely never stay here again when visiting Hakodate, nor would I recommend it to other Chinese travelers.

GGuest UserOmggg we love this place so so much !! We were amazed by how pretty this place was and the service was 100% too! They walked out to the entrance to help us carry the luggage in and sent to our room directly. The dinner was served in the room so you don’t need to get out from your room! and the dinner was amazing too! They even came in and made the bed for us right after the dinner was served. There’s a pantry providing free snacks and drinks at the lobby from 9am-10pm. I will sure come back again for this !! Love everything here ❤️❤️❤️

BBeingzi1. You don't have to leave the airport; there's a direct walkway to the hotel. It's close to the international arrivals, but it took us 15 minutes to walk from the domestic arrivals. 2. The lady at the front desk spoke Chinese and gave us a detailed introduction, even escorting us to the elevator. 3. The hotel provided adorable children's toiletries and disposable slippers. Both adult and child disposable slippers were fabric flip-flops. If you don't like them, you can ask the hotel for regular slippers. 4. We didn't get a chance to experience the large public bath (onsen), which is located on the 4th-floor lobby level and is open from 3:00 PM to 10:00 AM. 5. The room was super spacious and clean. You can push the two beds together, and the bathtub is big enough for two adults to bathe comfortably. 6. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the service was excellent. Don't miss out! It's open from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Very Good
MM236470****The facilities are quite old, and for the price, there's no lake view, just a street view that's not aesthetically pleasing at all. There are no facilities for families with children. The first floor is full of shops, which feels very commercialized. Most importantly, there are too many rules, and the staff are inflexible. Check-in time is rigid, they start clearing up before the mealtime is even over, and you have to move your car out of the parking lot by 11:30 AM after check-out. It doesn't feel like they're willing to make any concessions for guests.

EeasondingHad a lovely stay at this hotel in Sapporo. The room was a decent size and came with a couple of thoughtful touches that made the stay more comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the view—our room overlooked a beautiful park, and since it was sakura season, we were lucky enough to enjoy the cherry blossoms right from our window. It was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The TV offered a surprisingly wide variety of channels, which was great for unwinding in the evening. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently close to Nakajimakoen Station, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and seasonal beauty.
