I booked 3 rooms and happy that two of them are connecting rooms. Overall satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staffs and the facilities provided. Swimming pool could be better if there's not that much of dirt seen at the bottom.
Lovely staff, but the water dispenser is a ”tall” order. The staff really go out of their way to help. Only problem was the water dispenser. It’s placed on a table, making it tower over me. As a short girl, using the hot water felt a bit like a stunt from a movie 😂 I was terrified of a hot splash to the face! It would be much better if it were placed at a lower, safer height. And also location prefectly in heart of bentong, walking distance to Bukit Do.. everywhere. Nasi Kandar 24h across the street.
The city’s night view from my spacious room was amazing. Perfect for last-minute trips since they provide all essentials like combs and toothbrushes. Receptionists were super polite and the check-in process was fast. Parking was easy but a bit narrow, so drive carefully; better signage for the hotel lobby lift would help!
Enjoyed my stay at AC Hotel Kuantan. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was smooth and pleasant. A good choice for a short getaway in Kuantan.
The hotel is centrally located and a walking distance to the State Mosque. We have stayed here several times before and satisfied with the room and services. The room was clean and quite spacious with a nice view of the town.
We stayed at Chateau Spa, Bukit Tinggi for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a truly pleasant and relaxing experience. The resort was peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to unwind and celebrate a special occasion.
The room was clean, and the toilet was well kept, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff service was truly tip-top—everyone was attentive, caring, and clearly prioritised our wellbeing and comfort throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out.
As for the food, breakfast and the buffet were fine, but the à la carte meals for lunch and dinner were definitely worth the money. The portion sizes matched the price well, and there was a good variety of Western and Malay cuisine. We tried the Western dishes, including salmon and steak, and they were delicious.
The spa prices were affordable, though booking in advance is recommended. We visited during the last few days of December, and the weather was cold and lovely, adding to the overall relaxing experience. We left feeling happy, refreshed, and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway or a special celebration.
I recently had the chance to stay at Adena Beach Resort, and honestly it turned out to be a really refreshing getaway.
The biggest highlight is definitely the private beach. Waking up to the sound of waves and being able to walk straight to the beach in the morning is something you don’t get everywhere. The beach was clean, peaceful, and perfect for a slow morning walk during sunrise.
The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with a relaxing view that makes you feel like you’re truly on a break from the city. The resort itself has a calm atmosphere — not overly crowded, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Another thing I appreciated was the friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, the service felt warm and welcoming. Small gestures from the team really made the stay more pleasant.
If you’re looking for a quiet beach escape in Pahang, especially near Kuantan, Adena Beach Resort is definitely worth considering. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, and just enjoy the sea breeze for a while.
Would definitely come back again for another short retreat.
The staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive to our request, truly elevating the hospitality experience. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a newly refurbished 2-bedroom suite, having the extra space made our stay so much more comfortable. Huge thanks to the front desk for the unexpected surprise—their hospitality is truly top-tier.
Just one small improvement - the spotlights at the street make the rooms too bright for sleep. I would suggest the hotel management to consider to install thicker black out curtains.
Let me tell u about the toilet, as no review about it yet. I am so thankful to select this hotel as the toilet is spotless clean and up to my expectation. The water pressure is good eventhough we were on the 8th floor. And just look at the view. Super nice and u can see the river and the tower. We had a room with balcony. So the view is spectacular.
Overall - Rooms are clean and feel fresh (stayed in the family executive sea view room). Main areas are newly renovated with a fresh look, though some parts of the property still feel dated — generally well maintained. The breakfast buffet was decent with local favourites, a western spread, fresh juices and decent coffee.
Did not have a great experience at the BBQ dinner due to beach flies. Management took some time to react but ultimately replaced all the food and put measures in place to deter flies. It was off-putting, though it appeared to be an isolated incident — staff were apologetic and receptive to feedback.
🏨 Room — 7/10
Clean, spacious, with all the essentials.
🧹 Cleanliness — 8/10
👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 7/10
Staff were friendly and well-mannered. Junior staff would benefit from further training in food safety and guest feedback escalation.
📍 Location — 7/10
Set on a clean, soft-sand beach. Opposite the hotel is a long stretch of local food stalls and eateries.
🍽️ Food & Drink — 5/10
Breakfast buffet is decent. BBQ dinner has room for improvement.
🌅 View/Scenery — 7/10
Clean stretch of beach directly in front of the property.
🏃 Activities Around — 7/10
Surprisingly good gym — older equipment but very complete with a rack and barbells. Plenty of spots to lounge at the beach. Spa was closed for renovations. There is a private ATV operator next to the resort which felt like a safety hazard, with children and adults riding unsupervised and recklessly.

Very Good
GGuest UserHmm, how do I put this? At this price point, you can't expect top-notch service, ambiance, or facilities, but for what you pay, it's decent. The room did have a bit of a damp smell. I was shopping at the outlet mall for a long time, so I didn't want to stay up in the mountains and chose this cheaper hotel nearby. Since I was only there for a few hours at night, it didn't really matter. The room was surprisingly spacious, actually, very big. It had a living room and two bedrooms, but I was only traveling with one child, so I didn't even use the smaller room. The small room had no windows and was quite damp; it probably wouldn't be very comfortable to sleep in. However, the main room was perfectly fine – the bed was large, the room itself was big, and it even had an en-suite bathroom.
MManmanlyThe hotel felt like a quiet, secluded haven. We booked a beach villa, and they even accommodated our request for a room with a great view. There were many sharks by the jetty, and we could snorkel right outside our room to see plenty of fish and small sharks. The hotel food was good, though a bit pricey. The room design was truly impressive, with front and back doors offering different views, and we even saw many playful monkeys. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless! It also came with a separate vanity table, which turned out to be perfect for our child's homework.
The only letdown was the spa. For a hotel that markets itself as a spa destination, the spa rooms were chilly and damp. The therapist was simply awful; she even stopped massaging me when I fell asleep??? I definitely do not recommend getting a spa treatment at this hotel.
MMystery solvedThe stay was good, clean, and easy access to the mall, ****** and sky avenue. However be prepared for a 100m run from the entrance to your hotel room, it is actually wide enough and quite a nice walk 🤭 staff were well trained and attentive to any needs or questions you may have, not sure what amenities the hotel has as there wasn’t any that had directional cues for guests, so I’m guessing there aren’t any? I may be wrong
VVacay_LoverThis is the 2nd time we stayed here and we never regret chosing Swiss Garden as our preferred hote. Our unit is facing the mountain view and we love the it. There are 1 room with queen bed and 1 room with single bed. Each room has aircond. No aircond at the living room but it’s already cool outside. It also has 2 bathrooms inside. There are 2 pools for kids and 1 adult pool. Our kids enjoyed very much there. With all the facilities provided and friendly staff to assist us, for sure we will stay there again in our next trip.
AAriel NajmiReview: Copthorne Cameron Highlands
Stayed here after booking through Trip.com and managed to get a really good price, definitely worth it for the value.
The highlight of my stay was the beautiful view from the balcony. The scenery was very calming, especially with the cool Cameron Highlands weather – memang best untuk relax. The room was comfortable and spacious, plus having a bathtub made the stay even more enjoyable.
Check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with, which made everything more convenient.
Parking was also easy to find, which is a big plus. The location is very strategic as it is close to Kea Farm and other attractions, so senang nak jalan-jalan without needing to travel far.
Overall, the hotel offers a peaceful environment with nice views, good facilities, and a convenient location. Definitely a good choice for a short getaway in Cameron Highlands.
Rating: 8.5/10
AAnonymous UserGenting Highlands is a fantastic summer escape. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they're still quite comfortable and clean. The staff are very efficient. First World Hotel at Genting is definitely worth a stay.
AAngel5906Overall, the stay was comfortable with a nice environment and pleasant view. The unit is modern, clean, and well-designed, making it a relaxing place to stay. The living area and bedroom were cozy, and everything felt quite new.
The unit comes with 2 bathrooms (with shower) and 1 additional toilet, which is very convenient for groups.
Basic amenities like shampoo and bathroom sets were provided.
One downside was the jacuzzi, which takes quite a long time to heat up. We had to wait until the next morning for the water to become properly hot, so it’s not suitable if you plan to use it immediately.
There are a few F&B outlets downstairs, making it easy to get food nearby.
The parking fee was confusing — we were charged RM20 even though the signboard showed RM10. We parked around 2:30 PM and checked out at 10 AM the next day, so clearer pricing would help.
Another issue was transport. It was not convenient — we tried booking Grab for about 10 minutes, but no drivers accepted our ride from Antara to First World.
Overall: Comfortable stay with good environment and facilities, but improvements needed for jacuzzi heating, parking clarity, and transport accessibility.
GGuest UserWe recently stayed at the Genting SkyWorlds Hotel (formerly known as the Theme Park Hotel). While the name has changed, the charm of the location remains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, specifically for the stunning mountain views from our balcony.
However, there were a few issues with the room maintenance. Upon check-in, we found stagnant water and debris in the bathroom sink, which wasn't the best first impression. Additionally, we noticed a persistent smell of cooking/food in our room, suggesting we were located perhaps too close to the hotel kitchen or a nearby restaurant ventilation system.
Interestingly, we found ourselves spending more time relaxing in the room than exploring. Genting has become very commercialized, feeling more like a giant shopping mall and entertainment complex than a nature retreat. Aside from the view from our balcony, the 'green' side of the highlands is fading. Despite the cleaning issues, we still had a pleasant, relaxing time and would return for the atmosphere.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had mixed experiences. On the plus side, the hotel's mountain-top location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views and a 15-20 minute drive to the theme park and ******. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze.
However, I had some significant concerns with the hotel's facilities, which felt outdated and in need of maintenance. There is a swimming pool with warm water, but no hot water shower at changing room after you swim. It's not possible to shower there before you back to your hotel room. Cleanliness could also be improved too. The biggest headache was the parking - while it's free for hotel guests, the process of validating and exiting the car park was convoluted and stressful, especially during peak hours. I.e. every time you exit the car park, you need to validate your touch n go card at hotel lobby (tower 2) while car park is at tower 7. You have to take lift to level 3 to walk across skybridge and take lift again to collect your car. Don't forget you only have 20 min to exit the car park after validation. And the parking lots themselves were also cramped and challenging to navigate.
The hotel's layout, with multiple towers and levels, was confusing even for me, and I found myself getting lost daily. I e. Check in at tower 2, you may stay at tower 3, car park is at tower 7, and breakfast is at another tower. If you're comfortable with this, you might enjoy your stay, but I'd recommend exploring other options in Genting Highlands.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel! The workers there provided me and my family good services, big thanks to receptionist-Chloe, and Hridoy for making it the best experience.
