Very near to Taichung railway station and bus station. In-house breakfast acceptable, breakfast time from 6.30am-9.30am. Self-service laundry available (price as per attached ) . Room is comfortable. I stayed here during new year eve, so far no issues with check-in/check-out/ luggage storage . Overall good stay.

I’ve seen a few reviews mentioning issues with cleanliness, but I didn’t experience any problems and got a nice room. The hotel provides free snacks, coffee, and ********* tea on the first floor, and the overall space is clean and neat. The location might be a bit far from major stations or attractions, but you can easily get anywhere by metro or taxi, which are quite reasonably priced. The only area that could be improved is the friendliness of the staff.

The hotel offered free parking which is great but was a bit difficult to find the parking entrance due to the constructions going on around the hotel. Location was nice, in the city center and peaceful nearby. The buffet breakfast was amazing, a variety of choices from western cuisine to local cuisine. The room was clean and neat as well.

I've stayed here several times now. It's a hotel with a good value for money. The public lounge area in the lobby is great for meeting clients, and they offer free coffee and snacks. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Elegant and suitable for business discussions. Service: Enthusiastic service. Facilities: Complete basic amenities.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and would happily come back again. The room view was superb. Waking up to it each morning honestly set the tone for the day. The bed was comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. We slept well throughout the stay. The location is another big plus. It is convenient, easy to get around, and close to key amenities, which is especially helpful when travelling with family. Overall, this hotel ticks all the right boxes. Comfortable, well located, and family-friendly. Highly recommended for families looking for a pleasant and hassle free stay.

Stayed at Caesar for 5 nights over Christmas Pros: Location: right next to market, convenience stores, restaurants and opposite the beach and scooter rental Staff: Super friendly Breakfast buffet: Great selection Free shuttle from Zuoying station (email 客務部_服務中心公用信箱) Hotel just smells gorgeous. Rooms are lovely and clean and have balconies Great pool with diving board and outdoor jacuzzi Cons: Very small - tiles could be replaced on the pool floor and outside could be painted but very minor.

Great location right outside Taichung Railway Station, with Taroko Mall just across the way. We were supposed to stay three nights, but due to the typhoon the hotel kindly let us extend without any hassle. Comfortable room, helpful staff, and very convenient overall. Highly recommend!

Stayed here last year and thought I'd come back to the same place. Wasn't quite as good as I remembered, but good for the price. First impressions of the room was that it was great except the cleaning wasn't quite on point - first thing I saw in the bathroom was a used tooth pick on the side next to the sink and the big chair had 2 dead insects on it. Facilities are otherwise good, but I didn't remember the TV being this bad. Booked up via some old school antenna and not a single channel was HD. Even the ones with an HD logo were SD and blurry. Everything else is great and handy that they have 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (free apart from $30 for detergent) although one person had hogged both dryers so I had a long wait before I could use a drying machine. Location is fantastic. Easy to walk to most of the sights, and right in the middle of loads of cool food places, even if most of them always seem to be shut!

There were many hotels at Chaofu road because I wanted to stay somewhere near the shopping malls like ShinKong Mitsushita and The Lin would be the best option. I highly recommend this hotel because breakfast has a good spread, the team was excellent, helpful and they tried their best in their every way! Thank you especially to Donny; Amber and the team at front desk; they’re are all heaven sent! The room I’ve stayed at was luxurious!! Everything was memorable for me♥️🙏🏻✨ Thank you The Lin!! I would highly recommend this hotel whenever you’re in Taichung!!

AAnonymous UserEverything was good during my stay in this hotel. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.

GGuest User1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention.

MMicuhhThis hostel in Taipei is really, really convenient. It’s located on the Taipei Main Station side, at exit Y13, so it’s very easy to find. Every morning, they offer a generous breakfast. They also have free laundry facilities and a large common room. The hostel even has a balcony. The rooms are spacious and have private bathrooms inside, which is quite rare in Taipei. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite hotels. I’ve tried several hostels in Taipei, but this one is definitely the best.

GGuest UserPerhaps one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The location is incredibly convenient, just a 10-15 minute walk from Ximending station, making it easy to explore the area. The room was spacious and well-appointed, complete with complimentary bottled water. I appreciated that the housekeeping staff cleaned the room daily, provided you didn’t activate the ‘do not disturb’ button. The hotel features a unique underwater or submarine theme, which adds a fun and immersive atmosphere. I booked a room without windows, and while the lighting was somewhat dim, it created a cozy ambiance that I found quite pleasant. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. A thoughtful addition to the hotel is the luggage scale available for guests, allowing you to weigh your bags before checking out—definitely a great touch! We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which I would rate a perfect 10/10! There was an impressive variety of food options, including a delightful hotpot selection. The bathroom facilities were well-designed, with the toilet and shower room separated for added convenience. They provided complimentary body wash and shampoo, and I was pleased to see that the bed sheets were changed daily, ensuring a fresh and clean environment throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, friendly service, and thoughtful amenities!

HHong Jian WenRoom is cosy and clean! Its located next to Taipei Main Station making it very convenient and accessible to TRA, Metro, Airport MRT, Bus, etc. However, the building is apparently housing multiple hotels / office buildings. So accessing the hotel might make you waits for 5-10mins of lift during peak hours like morning/evening time... Staff Service is great! There's free wifi indicated but I only managed to connect it for a couple of hours during my 4 nights of stay there. The remaining time, my room wifi didnt even appear on the list. Additionally, when i'm on my personal line, the signal is pretty weak too. Overall, acceptable stay.

得弟一家老小的平凡Surprises and intentions are everywhere Every staff member is working hard to protect his or her position. Provide every guest with very high-quality service attitude! Highly recommended! Originally we thought there was only a small floor area, but after the staff introduced it, we followed their route and walked around. We really felt that this trip was worthwhile! The 24-hour campus shuttle service provides barrier-free service for those who are pregnant or have mobility impairments. We brought our dog with us, and there was a rest area for the dog, which needed to be paid for by the dog. Overall, it is a highly recommended hot spring accommodation!

GGuest UserThe room was clean and the location was convenient. There are snacks and coffee available in the lobby on the 3rd floor. It's a good choice overall. The only thing that could be improved was on my last night, someone checked into the room next door, and the sounds of video calls, music, and conversations were very loud. The two corner rooms are too close together and offer no soundproofing at all (please see the attached picture). There was even a door in my room directly connecting to the adjacent room, which, although locked, further proves the lack of sound insulation. Since it was my last night, I didn't bother to report it to the lobby front desk.
