Location of hotel is excellent next to Gancheng station where our nantou bus from Sun Moon Lake stopped . Room was spacious; toilet has dry & wet separation. Self laundry is available with NT$40 per wash and NT10 per 10min dryer time..Overall a value added hotel. Only disappointment was they asked guest to signed on an agreement to follow their instructions such as no throwing of toilet paper into toilet bowl, NT$200 for extra blanket etc.

The Hyatt Regency Taoyuan has an excellent location, very close to the airport, which is super convenient for layovers or early morning flights. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service, running approximately every half hour, making transfers hassle-free. The room offers direct views of planes taking off and landing, which is a major highlight. Although there's a bit of noise due to its proximity to the airport, it's completely acceptable and doesn't detract from the overall quality of rest. The facilities are comprehensive, and the staff are warm and professional, ensuring a comfortable stay overall. If you're looking for a hotel in Taoyuan that's conveniently located and offers airplane views, the Hyatt is definitely worth recommending.

An absolutely excellent hotel! The views, ambiance, facilities, and service are all top-notch. What truly stood out was the service. Even though the hotel was very busy, everything was incredibly well-organized, from reserving a dinner table at the restaurant to borrowing bicycles, helping us find a table at breakfast, and managing the pool and beach lounge areas, as well as the fitness and recreation center – everything was handled perfectly. The staff were all very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide, this was by far one of my most satisfying experiences. We booked for five nights and still felt it wasn't enough!

I spent one night in a windowless room at The Grand Hotel Taipei . While the room lacked a view, it was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The building itself is a masterpiece of classical architecture, with stunning decorations throughout. If you're looking to experience this legendary hotel at a great value, the windowless room is an excellent choice!

I had a pleasant stay at Norway Forest Hotel in Taichung. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taichung Train Station, which makes traveling around the city very convenient. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel also has a playground for children, which is great for families, as well as laundry and drying facilities, very convenient for longer stays. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I would recommend it to travelers visiting Taichung.

This is my first time to use this platform and booked the hotel in Kaohsiung. It's so nice to have a special offer to stay in this hotel, which is a simple style with very clean condition. For the location, it's covered by the bus network and convenience to the night market and Love River. Next time, if I come back to Kaohsiung, I think I would like to stay in this hotel again.

Windsor Han-Guan is an excellent place to stay in Jiufen, with nice clean rooms, eclectic homely interior design for each room, magnificent views and very close to the Jiufen Old Street. The check-in place is also a cafe open to the public, located along Qingbian Road, but note that this is a narrow one-lane red-line road that stritcly prohibits even temporary stopping for whatever reasons. Thus taxis will generally stop elsewhere, such as at the public bus stop and drop-off area nearby the police station, along Qiche Road. The homestay B&B's kind staff will offer to transport only your luggage to the B&B but you will need to walk to the B&B yourself, which is quite near, involving a walk up the flight of steps next to the police station. Consult the B&B for more details.

Good social area, nice roof terrace. Clean room but smelt a bit stale/like someone was smoking outside and it was coming in. The room could do with some extra ventilation. But this could just be a one-off. The people were friendly and it was a great location near a small night market, the train station and the town centre. Super comfy bed.

Convenient location - with all sorts of stores around the vicinity. Tried the massage place across the street ( it was superb) and great beef noodles stall + boba tea all within walking distance. The hotel is nice and clean with a robotic cocktail bar in the lobby, and Starbucks too!

AAnonymous UserEverything was good during my stay in this hotel. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.

GGuest User1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention.

VVXLIAthe place was very convenient to get to, connected to many train stations (albeit requires quite a walk). biggest drawback is that they do not clean the rooms & there are no lifts. the main lobby is already on the second floor. the steps are very narrow and it can be quite difficult to bring up/down the suitcases

GGuest UserSure! Here's a lighthearted and positive hotel review with a fun twist: --- *”A Stay So Smooth, Even My Alarm Clock Took a Vacation!”* If you're a traveler who just wants the basics done, clean room, comfy bed, hot shower, and Wi-Fi that doesn’t play hide and seek. This place is your jackpot. The location? Smack dab in the middle of everything. I stepped out and walk a bit and boom food, fun, and a pharmacy (because you never know). Staff were friendlier than my GPS, and the check-in was faster than my morning coffee brewing. Honestly, I came for a place to crash and ended up low-key considering extending my stay just to enjoy the peaceful vibes and people-watching from the lobby. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I bring snacks next time? Also yes, because midnight cravings are real.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient, with a good location that makes it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean and functional for a short stay. However, the soundproofing is quite poor, as noise from the hallway and other rooms can be clearly heard, which affected sleep quality. Another downside is that the hotel does not allow guests to store luggage overnight if you plan to travel elsewhere and return the next day, even for just one night. Overall, it’s suitable for convenience, but not ideal for light sleepers or flexible travel plans.

GGuest UserI found some small black debris after the water came out of the bathtub in the room. I'm not sure if it was in the pool or in the water. I still saw it after the water ran out and was replayed. The overall visual of the room was very comfortable and clean. Maybe my skin is more sensitive and I still felt a little itchy caused by dust mites, but I still slept well until dawn. It was nice to relax and have a good rest in a natural environment. For meals, we had hotpot in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Both were average. There were not many styles but they were enough. The attitude of the service staff was very good!

GGuest UserThe room was clean and the location was convenient. There are snacks and coffee available in the lobby on the 3rd floor. It's a good choice overall. The only thing that could be improved was on my last night, someone checked into the room next door, and the sounds of video calls, music, and conversations were very loud. The two corner rooms are too close together and offer no soundproofing at all (please see the attached picture). There was even a door in my room directly connecting to the adjacent room, which, although locked, further proves the lack of sound insulation. Since it was my last night, I didn't bother to report it to the lobby front desk.
