It was a great hotel. It was within a 10 minute walk from the airport. The staff were all friendly and the amenities were plentiful. The breakfast buffet was also great.

Excellent hotel, location was great, service was brilliant. Right near the airport as well. Room was really nice, shower was great. Loved the shops and some restaurants nearby. Would recommend and stay again!

The hotel is 10/100 i really loved it

The front desk provided a room that was already occupied. When we checked in at 23:00 late at night and opened the door, a middle-aged man was already sleeping on the bed. The man was frightened and very angry. Similarly, we were also very frightened and felt very embarrassed. For such a misunderstanding, the front desk only apologized to the man, but did not apologize to us. After changing rooms, our twin bed room was changed to a double bed room. The hotel did not explain this. Because it was late at night, we gave up changing beds and rested. There was a musty smell in the room, and a bottle of mineral water was empty, and it was not cleaned. There were many flies flying around in the restaurant during breakfast. I am very dissatisfied with this accommodation experience.

Hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The room are somewhat soundproofed so you can't really hear the planes take off/land. The bed and shower were the best part. Suggestions: 1. Provide hotel slippers in rooms 2. Provide body lotion, toothbrush and toothpaste etc 3. Provide robes in rooms 4. Have a more 'Zanzibar' breakfast with more options as opposed to the typical hotel international breakfast 5. WiFi wasn't so strong in the rooms Overall- I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back again when in Zanzibar

This is a modern hotel where everything just works well. The team is warm and helpful. Enjoyed the one night stay with my wife on our anniversary. The team decorated our room, really pleasant surprise for us and thoughtful from them. The buffet breakfast was just awesome...

Golden Tulip Zanzibar airport is moments away from the airport, ZNZ, and whilst you can take a taxi, it is only a 10-minute walk from the international arrival hall. You turn right as you exit the airport hall and walk alongside the terminal and then follow the walkway and sidewalk to the first T-crossing, turn right, walk for two minutes, cross the road, turn left and walk for two minutes and it's on your right side. The hotel is nice and modern, with a small but good gym and a spa that is well priced. Rooms are well planned and a good size with safes and good air-conditioning. There is a nice restaurant with an excellent breakfast. Overall, it was an excellent choice for early or late flights.

The amazing positive spirit of the staff and their attention to details from welcoming to farewell is overwhelming. The daily housekeeping notes at turn-down are a very unique touch. This property reflects what hospitality is all about.

Perfect for the short layover Staff are super friendly and attentive. The beds are super comfortable Breakfast had a good variety choice. The hotel is spotless. Only battled a bit for nice hot water. The team is out to make your stay very comfortable
