One of the very worst hotels in Bali. Before I start, the concierge staff are incredibly friendly and helpful but, sadly the other staff are not. CHECK IN AND MASSAGE Upon checking in we told the front office staff that we would like a massage that is advertised on their website. The staff member told us that it was closed and we should book another day (not an issue). We booked for 2 days later and waited all day for the final massage of the night (6pm). We went to pay for the massage pre massage and was told that the massage we saw online was a promotion that had finished. It was still on their website and had no start or finish date. After arguing the point they made up something about a morning promotion for that price. Once again, there was no information stating what time the massage had to be. They clearly were making that up. I then asked to see the manager who said he could not help us and that it was our problem. He even told us that if we were NOT guests at the hotel we could access that rate (this does not make sense). The Manager was not helpful at all. Do not use the massage. It is clearly a SCAM. The manager told me that because I was an inhouse guest and I had already checked in, that this rate can change. I asked him if the rates we book a room for and pay for can suddenly change when we arrive just like the massage price. Both the manager and the guest services desk lady were extremely unhelpful. The guest services lady was also quite rude. HOTEL Gardens are beautiful and lovely to walk around. The rooms are extremely old and kept in poor condition. Our room had sections peeling off the cupboard which actually cut our daughters foot open. The bath was very dirty and didn't drain properly. The shower did not have proper pressure and was very old. They provide 2 very old glasses in the room to drink from. 1 of which had a crack in it and was dangerous to drink from. I broke one of the 2 glasses accidentally (my fault). Upon check out I was told that I would need to pay for the glass. This is a cheapo glass and they wanted to charge me for it. We said we would be happy to pay for the glass if they were happy to pay for the medical bill of our child cutting her foot. Breakfast is not great but not terrible. They have a small egg station which is pretty good. Unfortunately, the staff make this a terrible experience and treat their hotel as a way to scam your money rather than let you enjoy your stay. The concierge staff on the other hand get 10/10. Super helpful and so friendly at all times. They are also so good with kids. The hotel also OFFERED me a wonderful deal of 70,000 rupiah to stay until 9pm that night for our flight. I found the same night for 57,000 rupiah online however and this covered the WHOLE NIGHT. There are much better hotels around the area charing the same price.

The Tribe Hotel in Kuta is a very modern, newly opened, and well-located boutique Hotel. It is on the one hand directly at the beach, close to shopping opportunities and the airport. Therefore, a perfect opportunity to start a Bali trip if after/before a flight a good price/value accommodation is searched for. The rooms are very convenient with enough space for luggage. While it has an open design for bathroom, the shower and toilet are separated and enclosed. The amenities including shower gel are of high quality. The hotel has a very spacious rooftop area, with an infinite pool, some sun/day beds, relaxing lounge area and a restaurant. The food in the restaurant is a mix of western, Italian and local, in a good quality. Drinks offering are standards, with a mix of local and global wines. At the same restaurant, breakfast is also served which offers a broad variety of western and Asian food. Highlight of the hotel is the fantastic staff, which is on the one hand extremely professional and well-educated, on the other hand finding the perfect balance of being casual. The staff is very proactive and helpful, and their smile at the check-in area is always very warm and a big pleasure. This is a common habit across the whole hotel, which makes the stay a pleasant experience.

The four of us came for the weekend together, my colleague who booked this hotel, we agreed to find a hotel with a car park, near the beach, near the mall. So we chose this hotel. The first impression of this hotel looks like a long established hotel, seen from the building. There is a renovation of the building in front of the swimming pool area. The service is friendly. As for the room, it's clean. A la carte breakfast is available. Our booking does not include breakfast. So for breakfasts, you pay directly at the restaurant. Price per menu is 40 thousand-35 thousand, free coffee, tea, lemonade water and fruit. We chose eggs Benedict at 40 thousand and Rosti at 35 thousand. We love the Eggs Benedict

I have late night checkin, the FDA said that my room was upgraded to front side which is ocean view. At that moment i was agreed and happy of course. But they didn't inform us that the bed changed to twin bed 😄. Unfortunately, the staffs very helpful and polite. So i'm okay with the bed 😂. We stayed on the second level. Only 2 stories. In a Superior room. Free breakfast with booking. Directly across the road from Kuta Beach. Supermarket and laundry next door. Breakfast is amazing. The room ate cleaned every day. The new owner has extensively renovated the hotel since buying it 18 months ago. Highly recommend this hotel. So central to everything.

Service: The staff are friendly and helpful, and will try their best to make every customer satisfied. Room: We booked a superior room with a balcony facing the pool. The room and bathroom were clean and very minimally furnished. Hot showers and air conditioning were fine. Two bottles of mineral water are also provided free of charge every day. Facilities: The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to Kuta Center, Legian and other places; free newspapers are also provided every day. The restaurant also serves Halal food. Location: Very close to Kuta Beach. Favorite things: service and location. What I don't like the most: The water coming out of the pipe is a bit salty, which is fine for us, but probably not for others.

This hotel is located in very strategic location, close to Kuta beach. Just walk through the alley to the beach. Also close to Beachwalk Mall. Only if you bring a car it is a bit difficult to enter the hallway to this hotel. You can park at Wina Holiday which is located next to this hotel, because there is a way from Wina Holiday Vila to Casa Wina. My advice is that it is better to just stay at Wina Holiday because the path to this hotel is quite far, especially if you bring your own suitcase. Positive notes : the staff is very friendly. The hotel location is strategic. There is a restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast is standard and not many menu choices. There is a swimming pool with a bar in the middle. Wifi ok. TV is available but TV channels are limited. AC ok. Clean rooms. Disadvantages: Casa Wina can be said to be more of a villa and not a hotel, because of the room facilities. The room key is still manual, the hot water in the bathroom doesn't come out. There is a fridge available in the room. But bathroom facilities are limited. There is no elevator so it was quite difficult for us to carry our suitcases up to the 2nd floor because the stairs were also quite narrow. When I was staying there and it was raining heavily, water pooled in the hotel area because it seemed the drainage system was not functioning properly. The more expensive price from Wina Holiday villa made me somewhat regret staying at Casa Wina, because I felt it would be better to stay at Wina Holiday which still has the same management, because apart from the cheaper price, walking access to Kuta beach is still better from Wina Holiday.

Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff Susan ,she makes My trip more interesting with her advices & tips about the supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody for short stay. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. House keeping was good and very hardworking staff. The hotel is conveniently located near fabulous restaurants, cafes and shopping at market stalls and a short walk to some great shops. It was a short walk to the beach however with two fabulous pools with swim up bars, why go elsewhere? The rooftop pool had 360 degree views and great for sunset shots. The main pool has a jungle wall and slide! Our room was clean and spacious and we loved the housekeeping including small treats left for us. The breakfast menu was extensive and did not disappoint. The restaurant on site was fabulous. Great special nights and a place to watch the world go by! I loved the complimentary sunrise yoga class on Fridays and the spa salon was divine! Enjoyed 3 different treatments during my 6 day stay. Special thanks to all the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Sintya Lisna who was so welcoming at Reception and talked to us about special events celebrated throughout the year. Thank also to Gusti, our driver who gave us a wonderful day in Ubud. Could not fault the hospitality.

Great location and very friendly staff .. they do everything to make guests happy … clean beach and quit a lot of chairs .. housekeeping is amazing especially Aldino that made all the request perfectly right … breakfast could have some improvement on hot section since everyday is the same .. pastry is quit good as well as crapes idea .. still quit a lot of variety .. .. food in other restaurants is quit ok but portions could be bit bigger for the price .. the only flow is that there is way too many mosquitoes around so one can’t sit outdoors after 6:30 pm which is really pity especially that there is nice restaurants at the beach with music .. they need to buy some outdoor fans and spray daily .. one does not have this problem in Jimbaran .. the only reason I might not consider going back is mosquitoes!! They bite like crocodile … bite places are swollen and achy!!

The villa is not well prepared for my family staycation. We had broken tv, bathroom electricity black out at one of the room. Super slow internet even just to watch the Netflix. Not recommended for digital nomad out there. Living room quite dusty and got kinda moldy roof smell when we turn on the fan. Really need to improve the service quality especially for local guest.

Had a 6D5N stay at Courtyard on the ground level. The room given was located close to both swimming pools (Courtyard and Marriot Vacation Club). Breakfast was plentiful though there were times when there was a shortage of cups for coffee and had to wait or order with staff. Unfortunately, during the first night, since we were staying on the ground floor, we kept hearing knocking, dragging of items across the floor, above us from early morning till 5 plus am. It made our sleep very uncomfortable and having flown in on that day itself, and due to the lack of sleep, we felt quite tired the very next day. We made an immediate feedback to the Okin. Noise persisted on 2nd night. Thankfully, the following nights were bearable. Suggestion that Courtyard management should consider placing a carpet to minimise the noise level. Special thanks to Okin who handled the situation professionally after we feedback about the noises. Okin personally checked in on us daily to ensure everything was good. Others not forgotten were Bagus (who taught us how to make a bracelet and played the ball game near the pool bar), Kezia and Yuli (at pool bar). Everyone serving there always has a smile on their faces and it made our stay at Courtyard a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

Internet is extrem slowly and ist impossible to do anything useful with it. The Pool and pool bar are closing at 8pm!!! Which is more than ridiculous and the main reason, why I won’t book that hotel again. Bathroom design is not well planned and the double function door will wetten the whole room, each time when used, toilet seat half loosen and fall one sides into the toilet. On top many lloud Chinese in the morning and an alarm clock isn’t the room, which can not be deactivated and wakes you up every morning at 7:00 with a loud „no radio signal“ sound. , breakfast do not have cheese or salami or any sausage choice and the ordered eggs arrived every time so late, that we were already done. ! The Free given Drinks are only alcohol free All over all, and even the staff was nice and extremely friendly, I would not suggest that hotel, if you like to use the pool and have a proper western breakfast.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

My family and I have stayed here on a few occasions as well as other 5-star resorts, but we prefer Movenpick. The architecture is appealing from the outside to the inside. The rooms are large and well appointed with a large Bali bathtub, natural stone accents and color palette. Linens are luxurious, which include down comforters and oversized pillows. Service is superior to most Bali resorts. From the personal interaction with Maicel at the front desk to the servers in the restaurant & pool side bar….all creating a memorable & personal stay. Thank you Movenpick employees. We’ll see you in a few months for another great experience.
