Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo Reviews

We just checked in the room and found that the air conditioning had something wrong (the hotel has fixed a warm mode, can't change anything) and actually there was no air (warm or cool) coming out. The staff there advised me to open the window. To me, it was unacceptable as it is a hotel, not a guesthouse. We discussed this issue with Front Office Manager and he agreed to refund the money to me. So, I did not stay there.

Very recommend for tourist with great location, nearly JR sapporo station. Very big room and new. So good, easy to go to many travel spot in the city. Nice price. Good tasted for breakfast.

It is not too far from JR station, maybe taking about 10 minutes. The staff is very nice and well communicated with English. The room is so good that it is so clean. Nearby the hotel, some restaurants and a convenient store can be found.

Well located, within 5 mins walk to Sapporo station.M, accessible to Stellar Place, with nearby shopping and good restaurants. Enjoyed the public bath and good breakfast buffet

Had a very comfortable 3 nights stay in Aug. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. Convenient as it is close to Sapporo Station.

Very good hotel! Clean and spacious room. With a small onsen. Staff is very polite. Close to JR Sapporo station 3 mins walking distance.

The location is good, just few minutes walk from JR train station. Breakfast small spread. The hotel looks new. Was not happy over an incident at the breakfast table. We were lead by a waiter to a table where he put a occupied card on the table. After we collected some food, we notice a handkerchief placed on our table. Then a Japanese came and claim that is his table. The waiter not knowing what to do, speak in Japanese to ask us change table. I was very unhappy and show him of my displeasure. I am not happy over this incident although in the end I kept my seat. Front desk are very nice people.

Walking distance to station. Good front desk staff and with good smile. With Spa and Laundry. Good value for price.

Very near to Sapporo station, convenient and clean hotel. Will definitely stay here again when I m back in Sapporo

I love love love this hotel! The location is amazing, and the directions to the hotel is really easy to follow from the Sapporo Station. There are quite a few convenience stores nearby like Lawson, 7-11 and Seicomart, so it’s really convenient when you want to get something at night. Though I did not use their amenities, it seemed to be super clean and new too. They have a smoking room on the first floor but I rarely smell any smoke when I am waiting for the lift except for one day when there were exceptionally lots of smokers, so the lifts were filled with the smell. The room size is sufficient for me, since I’m travelling solo. I had enough space to open my luggage and enough hangers to hang my clothes. However, if you’re travelling as a couple or more, it probably wouldn’t be enough. The room is really clean and you can opt for room cleaning every day, and they would replenish all of the toiletries, water and green tea/coffee sachets. You can decide whether to change your bedsheet all of that, by placing a card on the bed to request for new bedsheets. The Tanukikoji Shopping Street is around 15-20mins walk from the hotel, may not be close for others but you can take the train from Sapporo :) for me, because I love walking, it was a pretty okay distance for me to walk. There are also some tourists attractions that are within walking distance such as the JR Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Sapporo TV Tower, Hokkaido University, etc. The only con I could find is that the staffs don’t really speak in English. So I had to use the translation app to ask them questions. Overall, I would want to stay there again when I’m travelling to Sapporo. It’s close to the central station so it’ll be easier for me to do day trips out of Sapporo.

Good,.clean, no frills hotel with a pretty good breakfast. Very few staff could speak any English unfortunately so didn't get much help by way of suggestions. Stayed with family for one night before heading home. Would stay again. Oh yes... No driveway which made the drop off during a snow shower quite challenging.
