Meiluolanting · Lijiang one-night home stay in search of hidden light Zen tea

Greatly enjoyed our stay! After reaching Lijiang, we went for a traditional local costume photoshoot and only reached 古镇 after 8pm. The hotel helped arrange a last minute luggage pickup and even upgraded our room for free during check in. Room amenities are practical (lots of hangers, great quality toothbrush etc), and clean. There is also an elaborate design chinese courtyard providing good ambience. The following day, we decided to hike the Snow mountain 玉龙雪山 and had to leave early before the usual breakfast timing. Again, the hotel provided last minute bread, milk and flower biscuits as alternative. Since the hotel is in the middle of the 古镇 (old town) you can easily head out to explore the area (shops, food, market). If you are reading the reviews - Yes, staff are kind enough to bring your luggages in too.

The location is truly special – nestled inside the Old City, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the main meetup point. While this might seem inconvenient at first, it’s actually a lovely stroll through the charming streets of the ancient town, and we came to enjoy this peaceful walk immensely. The authentic atmosphere more than makes up for the short distance. A special thank you to the team and BaoGe for the unexpected room upgrade! This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend Meiluolanting Hotel to anyone looking for a genuine Old Town experience with wonderful hospitality. One of the best stay during our Yunnan Trip, located in a quiet alley in ancient town. Clean beautiful room with friendly staff. Need to walk in around 400m, they arranged a tricycle to bring in our luggages. Pleasant stay overall

Excellent and comfortable homestay and friendly staffs. They have luggage transporter to bring your luggages from pick-up point to homestay. They even provided breakfast even though we had to check out early the next morning. Recommended to everyone!

The staff were very nice and helped us arrange a driver to tiger leaping gorge and pack early breakfast for us. Location was very convenient and at the quieter side of the old city. No direct car access, so they were very nice to wait for us at the nearest taxi drop off point to carry our bags for us. The room was pretty basic but had everything we needed, amenities were average though - dehumidifier wasn’t working and shampoo/conditioner bottle wasn’t refilled…I’m sure the staff would have changed it, but it wasn’t a big deal for us so we didn’t bother to inform them.

Upon arrival at the old town my luggage was taken by cart to the hotel and I was accompanied on foot. As soon as I stepped into Lijiang old town, I was totally enchanted. I had never seen any town so gorgeous. When I arrived at the hotel I could not believe my eyes: it was so beautiful! There are apples, water, flower cakes available in the devine lobby. The hotel team arranged a trip to Yulong Snow Mountain for me as well as a 5 days hiking trip in Tibet. When I returned I felt like coming home to my family! I stayed more nights and never got tired of Lijiang’s charming old town and surroundings. The old town is bigger than Dali! You never get bored. Food options and places to explore are endless. There is also a real local market close by, If you plan a trip to Lijiang and if you want to feel at home and experience genuine care and top convenience, you must stay at this hotel! It is worth every penny!! Don’t worry about the luggage - it will be taken to the hotel for you! Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, quality and a touch of wonder!!
